Wanted a specific model of car and eventually found one at Scott Baillies. Was given the keys and basically left to my own devices. No diversion tactics or lies about the vehicle. Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a good quality and well priced second hand car.
I have purchased no less than three cars an Audi/Jaguar and my present one is a Passat purchased Nov.15 from Scottbailliecars and each time the sales staff Michael and Joe have treated me like a member of family and I have always been very happy with the deal offered to me and I will be back for a fourth car no doubt and Both my son and daughter have purchased a car from them and a couple of friends. I cannot recommend them highly enough, very friendly and professional not like the big named garages where you are just a number. 10/10 X 3.
I got my car from sbc in october, had a few problem but each time Joe has arranged to pick my car up from work on a day that suited me and brought it back to me or gave me a courtesy car. My alternator snapped this week and they came and lifted my car and fixed a fee problems. Got my car back today amd it feels great. Really happy with the service ive recieved. Thanks
I was reluctant to let my wife buy a car whilst I was offshore working but she visited SBC and they showed her what cars fitted her needs and to reassure myself they sent me all documents including the AA report for me to check for myself. They looked after my wife and kids very well and the Toyota Rav 4 in which we purchased has been a dream . The car was Mot'd, serviced, 12 month warranty and fully inspected so we are delighted. Having read previous reviews we were worried but the service was fantastic in fact my father has since bought a 10 year old Mercedes which is like new. We will defiantly be back.
Bought a car off Scott Baillie cars a few months back and have to say the service in which I received from the staff has been terrific. The car was MOTd, 128 point, AA check was also carried out on my car and they also helped me tax my car, helped out with my finance side of it too. Honestly have to recommended this car dealership to anyone, I have family and friend who have also purchased vehicles in the past and will again in the near future five stars without a doubt.
We bought our BMW from this garage. Friendly staff with no pressure to buy. They gave us a great price for our old car and very low finance payments. Our car is perfect. Highly recommended and will be back when we decide to change.
We purchased a family vehicle from this dealer in July 2015 and it broke down within a week (Fact). The issue was fixed however warning lights appeared first week of September so we took the vehicle to a reputable citreon dealer. The garage (175 miles away from Scott Baillie) remembered the vehicle from another family who had purchased it in April (Fact) who had ended up returning the vehicle as the amount of issues were so bad and the vehicle was not fit for use (fact). Those issues were still present when they sold the dud vehicle to us just 2 months later (fact). We have proof. We had an independent inspection report carried out, we went to CAB and Trading Standards. When we wrote an official letter in September they finally made contact 6 WEEKS LATER offering us our money back verbally. Great! NO! because they then put in writing a smaller amount retracting the verbal amount originally offered (Fact). As our main family vehicle purchased from Scott Baillie cars has been sat in a garage unable to move since September 2015 - yes it stopped working altogether in September and the AA had to tow it there (Fact) we have found life really tough - we are rural, we have children, we both work.. well I did but then couldn't get there for all my shifts due to having no vehicle (Fact). We have employed a solicitor. Our advice: Don't buy a car here - you will get hurt. What we have been put through has had an effect on all of us (fact).

Great sales pitch and nice people until you purchase the car. Aftercare at Scott Baillie was awful. Everything I have taken the car back for, answer has been "not covered under warranty" . Would not recommend this garage to anyone.
Scott Baillie Cars were ace, when I first went in they told me to have a look around and let them know if anything caught my eye, they didn't hassle me or nothing. John was sound as a pound, guided me through the sale and gave me all the info I needed. The car has needed some minor warranty work doing but nothing more and it runs like a dream.

Found some serious underlying issues with the car. Paint started coming off the wheels and a crack developed under the bumper after driving for a while. These were clearly old defects on the car which had been poorly fixed. Found issue with timing chain on car found by local garage after engine management light came on. Took it back and after 1 week of no car they said they couldn't find a fault. Issue was there, had it verified by 2 garage and using friends diagnostics tool. Cost me a hefty bill to fix.
