I saw the car I was interested in on Autotrader first . I then read all the reviews about this family run business on their own website. I contacted the garage via the website and had a telephone call from Tom who answered all my questions and arranged a time / date for me to test drive my chosen car . I was quite nervous as this was my first time doing this myself, as you do hear of the term pushy arrogant salesmen . All my anxiety eased the moment I arrived and met Tom . He was friendly , approachable, very knowledgeable and definitely not pushy . I purchased the car , and will be telling all my colleagues and family when they need a new vehicle to look here first . Thankyou senior cars it’s been a pleasure.
We found that Tom was very friendly, helpful and gave great customer service. The bmw we brought was and is perfect for us. It looks and drives like new.

Anyone reading these reviews because they are considering buying the black JCW pack mini SD67 AEA- I would think again. I was the second owner of this car (therefore it’s had more than one previous owner as they describe in the listing) for just shy of 6 months, 3 of which I had car. I barely drove it before it went wrong! The car required significant works carried out relating to the engine. They will offer you extended warranty but realise that: 1. It only covers up to £1.5k of work 2. The Warrenty (crystal clear warranties) company are absolutely impossible to deal with and provide you inconsistent advice which may result in you being out off pocket. 3. When I tried to raise a complaint they wouldn’t advise of the process or policy, then further told me that yes they are regulated by FCA but the Warrenty wasn’t?! (Yes actually laughable) Yes senior cars offered to put it right, but absolutely no offer of auto recovery, replacement car or any announce of genuine concern. However you will be told in no uncertain terms that (and I quote) you will not be prioritised over ‘paying customers’. So after waiting for well over a month and a half I knew I couldn’t carry on. I spent my time constantly chasing for updates which very little tangible communication! Was even advised it was above someone’s pay grade to advise me on updates! It was only at the point of taking legal advice and advice from trading standards and rejecting the car under consumer rights grounds that they seem to pull their finger out. Sorry all a little to late. Upon handing the car back they were quick to email me and ask me why I had assigned the V5 to senior cars and this was incorrect and would devalue the car! Given that there was NO communicatIon on the handover I took the logical steps! And clearly no money has been lost given the resale price has been hiked up by £1.5k from when I purchased the car. If they are out of pocket it’s because of the work required, then frankly the ‘health checks’ they claim to provide clearly don’t stack up or they knew there were problems and just decided to sell the car with its dodgy engine?! Who knows?! Given my original plan was always to have the car back I had a few personal belongings in the car so when the car was rejected I had arranged a courier to pick up my personal belongings and private number plate. I was explicit in my email that those were the items to be returned. As a last ‘good will gesture’ they destroyed my private plates!! When I emailed to ask why they wasn’t returned they happily told me they were destroyed. Yes they did offer to replace BUT they would have senior cars signage all over them!! Errr no thanks!!! Yet another example if the Scant regard they have toward customer care. I ended up significantly out of pocket given I had paid for an independent diagnosis (which was disputed by seniors before even seeing the car), had to hire a car, pay for auto recovery, the replacement number plates that were required and the full tank of fuel in the car. Plus the disproportionate time the whole situation took of my time! Far from impressed. I take absolutely no pleasure in leaving negative reviews but in this case it’s wholeheartedly justified. No doubt there will be an elaborate response to this review from them. I haven’t even written this review to full extent of how bad the experience actually was. I would not recommend Senior Cars and would urge anyone reading this to seriously consider if the hassle, financial loss and level of arrogance is worth it.

Such an impressive garage. Christian was really transparent about the process, knowledgeable, helpful and patient throughout. He went above and beyond to ensure the sale went smoothly and he also makes a mean cup of coffee. Highly rated all round :) I'd highly recommend the garage and Christian's expertise to anyone.

I’m really impressed by senior cars, great service and the dealer was really helpful all round. Defiantly recommend!
Purchased my second car from Senior, good dealership, the car was very good, and looked in perfect condition,12 months warranty, sales team no problems. was very happy with purchase. Unfortunately, after a cold spell, about 10 months after purchase found paint blisters on bonnet where poor respray was carried out, Senior did take the car back, after usual not my problem not under warranty, they did kindly respray, this has now also failed, more paint blisters, after another cold spell, I did offer to help with costs but no money was exchanged. Was let down by poor aftersales services from this company.
I highly recommend Senior Cars, they are an honest dealer with great staff. I have never returned to a dealer, but I will be returning when I am next in the market for a car.
Tom Parker and all the team at Senior Cars, have restored my faith in dealing with a car dealership. I was really overwhelmed by my whole experience. When we arrived to view a car, Tom was helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy what so ever. He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond in making sure the car was perfect ready for me to collect, even staying a little bit later so I could collect the car. I really can’t fault Tom or Senior Cars, and in a day and age when customer satisfaction is at the bottom of other car dealerships, I have evidently found this to be at the top of Senior Cars priority list. I truly am one very satisfied customer and would highly recommend this dealership if you are looking at a new car, from a trustworthy and honest dealership.

Bought a car in July from Senior Cars, had a few faults so they kept it to fix it, actually received the car In September took 8 weeks to fix a car (it actually had lots of faults) Had nothing but trouble with it since buying it, kept going in limp mode, dpf regeneration didn’t work and it was driven 50 mins on motorway, then turbo went, faulty from day one and never again will I buy or recommend this company. Traded the car in and not even had it a year. At least Mitsubishi garage were honest. We now have a car that works as it should.

Andrew Yates from Senior Cars in response to Appalling car
Hi Michelle / Russell, Thanks for taking time to leave the review. As we said, unfortunately a DPF is not a warranty item - we are always very clear that diesels need to have the correct journeys to clear them out. They are not covered on a new car, let alone an older car with almost 100,000 miles on it as they are affected so much by the type of use the vehicle has. If you look online, a lack of DPF regeneration can cause issues with your turbo - If you weren't clearing this out as often as it should, this is most likely the reason the turbo failed after a year of driving it. There was certainly no issues with the turbo when you had the vehicle. We did not keep the vehicle here for 8 weeks before you could have it, although admittedly we did have it for a fair while - we also gave you a courtesy car for free whilst you were waiting to take delivery of your new vehicle. The reason it took a while was that we noticed an issue with the timing chain on the vehicle. Rather than sending it out and hoping for the best, we stripped the vehicle down, identified the part that was not right and ordered a new one. This had to come from Japan (as you were told at the time) and we could not physically get it here any faster. To give you peace of mind, we also extended the warranty to 12 months free of charge. We also put it onto a higher level of cover than it should technically have been on for a car of the age / mileage. This again we to give you extra peace of mind. In the 12+ months since purchase, we have not heard from you until this latest issue with the turbo where you demanded we pay for a job that you had already had carried out and you were having an issue with the warranty company authorising the job. Instead of taking this issue up with them (with our help), you instead told us you were taking us to court and want your money back. We tried to explain all of the above to you at this time. I don't know the reason the part wasn't covered as you never did say, but again, I imagine it was the fact the car wasn't being ran properly to clear the DPF out which led to the turbo failure. I can 100% understand your frustrations - it is never nice when a car has an issue and it is very unfortunate that this happened. We wish you the best of luck with the new car. Regards, Senior Cars
Such a shame that after finally purchasing my dream car I feel completely let down by the after sales service at Senior Cars. In March this year I purchased a 2 Series BMW convertible it was verbally agreed that although the car was not advertised with a wind deflector they would do there best to supply one as part of the deal. The car was supplied with a wind deflector and in June I tried to use it. Whilst doing this I could not fit it and discovered it was for an Audi. I called Senior cars and was told they would be back in contact. 4 weeks passed and I heard nothing so at this stage my father got involved and managed to contact the original sales man, he was vey apologetic and couldn't believe what had happened and that he would sort it as soon as possible. Another 4 weeks have passed my father has had to make contact yet again and they have now left a message saying the best solution would be to sell the Audi one on Ebay and use the proceeds to from the sale to buy a BMW one. So although the car was not advertised with a deflector they supplied one as part of the deal, Some how it was for a different make car. They then took over 8 weeks to come to a conclusion that the they where going to do nothing about it and never returned any calls, probably hoping a young 21 year old girl would just give up on trying to get the issue resolved.
