An absolute amazing thank you to Russell for help sorting me out a Lexus ISF (imported from Japan). Throughout the whole process Russell was very patient with me and always gave me the time of day as well always being available to answer a few silly questions I had! Can't thank him enough from the start of the start of the sale, then getting the car registered and MOT, then getting the car looking better than showroom condition to the final handover. Can't recommend these guys enough (espically Russell) I would definitely buy another car from these guys without a doubt!! Thanks again Russell!!

Bought a 12 year old Freelander with very low mileage. Superb example and very happy with the car. Been faultless for the first 6 months. My kids love it. I would recommend Seymour Pope to all my friends. They have a real passion and understanding for their product. Thanks again and have a great 2025. Alice

Bought an Audi s6 from these guys, very helpful and happy to assist me at the beginning, I then trailer the car back gone because it wasn’t registered to get it back and find the driveshaft was knackered on it, took pictures, documented it all and sent it all through to them said they would sort the problem for me. Multiple messages later iv now basically been fobbed off and told to sort it out myself even though the car was sold to me with ‘warranty’ WOULD NOT BUY FROM HERE AGAIN
Purchased Audi A4 all road just before Christmas, the guys we brilliant, the car was a Japanese import they done all the paperwork, and even fixed a scratch on the rear passenger , door , the car is stunning, they even delivered can’t ask for more , would definitely buy from them again
I had been looking for a Volvo v70r for quite a while and I saw one advertised with Seymore pope on Autotrader I promptly called them to arrange a viewing and spoke to the sales rep Russell who was very pleasant to deal with So to cut a long story short the seale was made as I was pleased with the car I did not haggle with the asking price and agreed to have the car valeted and ceramic coated at an extra cost on collection day the car was outside and thought all was well and took the car home after having the car less than a week all the coil packs had broken down with a repair bill close to £800 which I paid myself after contacting Russell about this I have heard no reply or any correspondence from the owner Phillip which has left a very bitter taste in mouth MAYBE they might take the time to read the review and I might get a response of some kind Ps after having the wheels refurbished and callipers painted I asked the guy has the car been ceramic coated lately and his answer was NO Oh dear what a surprise SHAME ON YOU SEYMORE POPE

We bought an imported Audi from this dealer with the assurance that the car would be converted to UK specification and "upgraded" with an Apple Carplay system. The so called upgrade was worse than useless particularly in the country as the radio, navigation and obviously telephone was entirely dependent on the signal through the telephone handset. It was very easy to forget and press the radio or telephone button which took you back to an incomprehensible Japanese setup. Various Japanese fittings such as as security options for navigation and TV were left connected with annoying messages coming up saying a card was required. One amazing thing was that a flare had been left in the passenger footwell in a clip just where a dog or a child could get at it. Not easy to understand why or what the awful consequences would have been if it had been set off whilst the car was in motion. There were other irritation such as the odometer and tripmeter being set in kilometres without the ability to change. When we asked our local Audi dealer about repairs and replacements to any of the electronic components we were told it was not possible as the VIN indicated that the car was Japanese and that it was not possible to buy replacement parts or even service the car. Other details were just as irritating e.g. no second key and no possibility of getting one as the frequency used is different in Japan. Insist on an English translation of the service record and a new service book and English manuals (we were told to "steal" the one from our present car before selling it. When asked what the solution was we were recommended to a retrofitting specialist who could rip out the Japanese components and replace them with new Audi components and then re-code that car as a UK car with UK Satnav, UK radio, etc. The cost was £4500. Seymour Pope were uninterested in helping us initially and then simply failed to answer emails. If you are buying a car from this company which has been declared as imported from Japan insist on a retrofit of all components before agreeing to buy. In other respects the car was nicely prepared and drives well - it is just the "imported" category that needs wariness.

Where do I start, just after reading another review someone had made recently I thought it well overdue that I need to make every buyer aware. At first it was great they answered all my questions and was very very helpful so as of that it was plain sailing. The advert for the car was that it had been in no accidents and no panels had been changed, as a car enthusiast I got home instantly and gave the car a clean and ceramic coating to try and protect what I had thought was immaculate paint work, while giving it a thorough clean I began to notice everything wrong, front bumper was a complete different colour to the main body aswell as being cracked under the drivers side light, the passenger front light had been changed, the rear bumper was also the incorrect colour and didn't match!. Then I noticed the rear quarter panel, aswell as not matching the bodywork colour it had been resprayed poorly and has Got water in-between the paint layers which leaves a bubble effect on the paint. So as from what I can gather this car has at some point been in a obvious front and rear collision, if I'd have known the car had been in a collision I'd have stayed well clear as I have 2 very young children that sit in the car. Getting the car fixed under warranty was another challenge , excuse after excuse until finally they caved in after pretty much being pestered by me, so just to make you all aware you will always have a fight on your hands, the rear door lock seized up after not Owning the car long at all, they would pay for the part but refused to pay labour, not only have I got to respray almost the entirety of the car which will cost me thousands but I've now been stuck with repair jobs I have to pocket for, the cars now being thoroughly checked by trusted mechanics for any collision damage. Please buyers beware and do your research . I am a very disappointed customer , to top it off I've been blocked from the salesman from being able to contact him. I'm now debating trading standards for the false advertisement.

I bought a Mercedes E320 from Seymour Pope last year. I was misled about the state of the car and despite assurances that any issues identified in the first few months would be rectified, they have so far refused to help. Make sure you obtain the advisory notes from the MOT certificate they give you with your car and have an independent assessment before completing your purchase.

Absolutely delighted with the service from Seymour Pope. I live in Ireland and was unable to go see or pickup the car but the car was exactly as described and in perfect condition. Philip was very helpful throughout the process and made sure the car was in excellent condition. Couldn't recommend these guys enough and I'd certainly look to buy another car from them. For anyone living in Ireland I used Eirtrans to transport from door to door and also a great service.
