I purchased a corsa from here and on the way home it started to overheat. After multiple trips to his ‘mechanics’ it kept overheating after any journey where I would need to go over a 60mph. A reputable mechanic I knew said it turns out the head gasket was gone and the work done on it was so shoddy. George then refused to answer my emails and was unwilling to take it back as lockdown meant that the returns period had passed. Basically an awful experience and a life lesson. Don’t trust these slimey crooked second hand car salesmen. I just hope this message saves someone the trouble I went through and deters anyone on the fence from purchasing from these conmen.

bunch of crooks. Taking this garage to court. 2 weeks after buying a car from them found it was consuming huge amounts of oil and had a dodgy gearbox. Wont give me my money back or repair it despite having a warranty!

Bought a BMW and 4 weeks later it blew up. George was never there or available to speak to if called or turned up. Money took 16 weeks to come back to me - no car, no courtesy car. The money wasn’t even returned by George, the finance company paid it back. Absolute fraud. Stay well clear.

Thank you all at SFS for your great service the car is all we could have wished for. George went out of his way to make us feel really welcome and looked after. The car was serviced and MOT’d for 12 months. Thanks once again, we’ll definitley be back to purchase our daughter her new car when she starts driving.

TAKING COURT ACTION AGAINST SFS CARS-SOLD A CAR I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO TAX OR INSURE AS THE PLATE IS WRONG ON THE CAR AND LOGBOOK. DEPOSIT NOT RETURNED EITHER. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO END UP TAKING THIS COMPANY TO COURT I SUGGEST YOU STAY CLEAR. THEY EVEN SAID I COULD DRIVE KNOWING I WOULD HAVE BEEN COMMITING AN OFFENCE-THEY DON'T CARE HOW THEY SELL A CAR OR PROBLEMS PEOPLE INCUR'THEIR PRIORITY IS GETTING YOUR MONEY EVEN IF YOU CAN'T DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE IN THE HANDOVER.

Sold me a car and told me it was a great little runner, knew I was driving to Gatwick area, over a two hour drive. The head gasket blew on the drive home, SFS Cars refuse to help pay for the repairs and claim that the car was sold as not roadworthy. To sell a car that isn't roadworthy and to let me drive out of their forecourt in a car that is not roadworthy is a criminal offence!
