Wow what an experience, we just bought our first car from Shaks Specialist Cars today. From the moment we walked in to their pristine showroom right untill we collected our car they displayed a level of professionalism unmatched anywhere else. When we initially visited they didn't have the car we wanted. We left them with our spec and was told to give them a bit of time. A week later we got a call and was shown a car that exceeded our expectations by miles, needless to say we were over the moon. These guys actually listened to us and delivered the goods. They went above and beyond what one would expect from a car dealership. If your in the market for a new car then SSC is the place you need to go, the ONLY place. Thank you soo soo much to everyone at SSC, I look forward to our next purchase from you.

Extremely poor customer service and dodgy place. I visited the Shaks Specialist Cars showroom last week with my brother and met the manager. They showed us a ferrari and claimed that the car was clean. Before buying we ran an rac check on our computer and found out that the car was stolen! And the manager said that they knew this but they had "paid" for it when they bought it from the seller, so it's legit. Effectively they bough the car from the thief! Watch out for Shaks - stay a mile away from these guys.

Those posting positive reviews about Shaks Specialist Cars have been very, very lucky. Please do not rely on the cherry picked reviews on their website. I recently bought a car from SSC. Shortly after taking delivery it developed a fault which I naturally assumed would be repaired under warranty. It was only then I was told, in breach of consumer rights that it was not covered by SSC but an independent company. However after agreeing to pay for the repair I took the car to a garage. SSC then refused to pay leaving me with the hefty bill. SSC have ignored any contact from me regarding the issue and to date, despite repeatedly asking have not even told me who the alleged warranty company is. This is a truly disgusting business.

i picked up my range rover from Shaks Specialist Cars, as i drove off i realised the satnav is not working, it gives an error message saying that its not a map dvd installed, i was driving to london, i just decide to continue thinking it was only a small problem. upon arrival in london i realised that both front and back sensors are not working, the Satnav, is still not working even though i took it to the dealers, i was told the the dvd players was broken, and one part of the boot was stuck, i had to take it to the dealers to reset it. All these problems were known to Shaks before they sold me the car, you cannot check everything, especially those things, and the dealers are so convincing, i dealt with Urfi, the assistant manager and they assured me that everything was great, now am calling them to fix the stuff, they will tell me they are still dealing with the case and they will come to me with figures, that only when i called them with withheld number. they will promised to call but unless i call them. so please be careful with Shaks, they are very convincing, but please check your car before you leave. i have still not got my money from them, i am going to update you and seek legal advice if they don't sort things.

Stay away!!! This dealer is the worst i have ever dealt with! I called for a 70k 64 reg RRS with a lumma bodykit, when i tried to negotiate on the price because i was going to travel over 200 miles to go and look at the car the salesman said that he couldn't do anything lower because the car was in PERFECT CONDITION apart from a minor scratch on the alloy wheel and a small crack on the windscreen which he said will be sorted by the time i went up there, when i got there it took them half an hour to eventually bring the car for me to have a look, not to mention that he told me the bodykit was a replica from china only when i got there, eventually the car arrived, i was shocked and disappointed at how bad the car actually was, the back bumper wasnt in place the rear entertainment screen was cracked, the door panels were uneven there was a dent on the back passenger door and some paint had come off the inside of the boot and so on...... when i said 'you told me the car was in perfect condition' he apologised and said that the car had only come in yesterday and that they never got the chance to look at it, :) it was a complete joke! Most of their excuses started with 'to be honest' HONEST!!! Anything but!! Stay away!
