AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Whether in Ormskirk or Widnes. From what I understand he has done so many shady deals that he should be locked up. He has stolen a car from me and the police refuse to do anything, He is claiming we had a contract. Last time I looked gaining pecuniary advantage by deception is a criminal offense. Its not only me, there are many others that this 'man' has done this to. I cant wait to meet him in person. There is a court case on going but hes refusing to attend or reply.
I took out finance for a car from Shaw Motors (VW Golf) only to be told that the car did not exist and was not for sale. I have been refunded the money by the lender but this whole experience was a very inconvenient waste of time. I would NOT recommend

Bought car In February. Warranty said engine warranty 3 months but no info sheet to explain what was covered. 3 wks old and car started with underlying problems. Said not covered under warranty. Owner Paul Shaw off on sick so Dan said repair will be £300. But you need to pay £50 of this as we will honour £250 of the cost. Few days later found out they are in receivership after receiving the £50. Fraud alert. We are now £420 worse off after having to pay for our own repairs.
The guys at Shaw Motors were very helpful, down to earth blokes. i had a fairly big problem with the gearbox but he took it back and had it for a week whilst I went on holiday. When I got back it was all fixed and ready to go. I'd absolutely recommend them.
