found the car on autotrader I went and had a look found it right away just outside the forecourt. When taken for test drive noticed a noise and told the salesperson who had it sorted straight away . I purchased the car and drove it around all day today and it has ran perfectly no problems at all.

After an initial problem arose whilst viewing the car (which was late in the day and the only reason I cant give 5 stars), David called me the next day and sorted everything out. The car was delivered a few days later by Steve who had it looking great. He also had the car serviced which was beyond our agreement and which I am very grateful for. Up to now, the car is running nicely and I'm really happy with it. Initial problems aside, David and Steve went out of their way to sort things out which has led to me being a happy customer and I would recommend them based on their good after sales service which for me is the most important factor when buying a second hand car.

Living in Cumbria, there are fewer places to source cars and the dealerships are less inclined to give you a real deal. I heard about Shirlton Cars from a friend and despite the 180 miles distance, they have been amazing. They listened to my needs (7 seats and a car that can tow), respected my budget and sourced a car that is ideal for me and my family. Not only was it delivered to my door by their friendly driver, but they took away my current lease car and have made arrangements to ‘spruce it up’ before returning it for me. Having read all the fantastic reviews about the guys at Shirlton Cars and then having spoke to them both about it, i took a bit of a leap of faith and bought the car without travelling 4 hours to see it. They delivered it at a cost that was probably cheaper than getting the train down and paying the desiel back up, when it landed it was exactly as described, in great condition with all the history. These guys are genuine, honest and absolutely spot on, thanks guys, will definitely buy from them again.
