Bought a car from this company six months ago noticed it was losing oil, they replaced a few seals even though I assured them it was the head gasket just to get fobbed of saying they had it tested (bull) then got fobbed of with the warranty.

We cannot understand this comment in the slightest, the reasons are as follows: You actually worked at our adjacent workshop historically and you brought the car via recommendation in January 2016. You brought it within a one month period back to attend to in your words “a minor oil leak” The car went next door to your old colleagues and they replaced an oil switch and cam sensor at no charge and as a matter of precaution checked the pressure of the head gasket. Don't get bringing the adjacent workshop into this as they was only doing the work they was asked to, and recommendation you was never recommended, I just knew someone who had dealings with you previously, they also had problems with keys as in previous reviews but felt this was only minor problems, I did state to you also that it was a head gasket problem or you going to deny that too, finally the warranty, after many attempts from my behalf to get the warranty extended and information passed to me by your company and false promises that I would receive information I received nothing, but suppose you going to deny that too.
Very poor customer service, please do not believe their 28 day guarantee because it's a complete lie. We bought a Renault megane sports tourer off this garage, we were told the car drives perfect as they had taken it for a run up to Stoke with no issues. Within a week of buying the car two different warning lights had come on (related to the FAP). I spoke to the garage who were happy for me to bring it back for them to look at. The garage got the warning lights reset, I was then told that the light had come on when they drove it up to Stoke (contradicting what they had said the day we test drove it) but I was told it would sort itself out. Anyway, I went on my way but surprise surprise, the lights came back on within hours. I contacted the garage again who agreed to book it into the Renault specialist at 4 ashes and they would cover the cost. The car went into the 4 ashes garage. Later on in the day I received a phone call from Shirlton garage telling me that the "flap" filter could do with being replaced, but it wasn't necessary as 9 times out of 10 the car sorts out the issue itself. Because the "flap" didn't necessarily need replacing they would only pay half. I decided that I should speak directly to 4 ashes garage who told me it definitely needed replacing......... so yet again we have another lie from Shirlton cars. It did make me laugh that Shirlton cars were sure the "flap" problem would right it's self when we actually talking about a "FAP". (Please do not take what this garage says a gossipal because they don't know what they are talking about) We tried to talk to Shirlton garage to try and resolve the issue with payment but we were spoke to like s**t and basically backed to into a corner, being told that we either pay half or return the car. Returning the car wasn't really an option as we had sold our old car and with living 30 miles away from work needed a car to commute. Basically we've ended up paying half the cost of the repairs, which I feel is unreasonable. The up side, I'm very glad I do not have to deal with this garage again!!!! I know there are lots of good reviews on here but I think the issue with Shirlton car sales is that thier aftercare is non existent and that they are willing to say anything to make a sale.

We are one of few companies that are pro active in seeking reviews. This is not an appropriate review for a number of reasons. You were offered an immediate resolution to return the vehicle for a full refund and declined, in order for us to not allow you to further bully us in the future. The vehicle was a one private lady owner car with low mileage and DID NOT have a fault it was simply a reset procedure. Modern diesel with anti pollution systems are subject to this. We have acted in a prompt and professional manner with total courtesy.

Brought a VW Passat 57 tdi car is mint and can not fault the service I received from all of them they have held the car for some time for me as I have had family trouble also when I picked car up they also said any problems with the car then to contact them will definitely be recommending them to friends and family may even use them when it comes to upgrade the wife's car thanks guys for all what you have done can not fault you big five stars
I bought a Mitsubishi colt and found it to be a very enjoyable experience. There was no pressure what so ever to buy a car, we we're left to view the car at our leisure. I was able to test drive the car with no problems, they even went out of their way to explain a few things as i have not driven an automatic before. Overall the whole team were very helpful and easy to talk to, even helping me to tax the car. I would definitely buy another car from here.
