Took to an AA accredited garage who did a full check and found numerous faults with car. Phoned and they agreed to cover the welding that needed doing, when it came to it being done the guy only paid £40. Has cost over £300 and over 3 weeks of the car being sat in the garage to make it road worthy. Terrible people and even worse service. Please do not entertain or buy from these people.

Bought a car off them Saturday morning and by Saturday tea time it was on the back of a recovery truck. Called the garage and they didn’t want to help I am now in the process of dealing with trading standards as they are refusing to take the car back even though consumer law says I can. He has advised that he’s passing this on to his solicitor so we are now in a legal dispute.
bought a used car in good faith,believed the garage however a whole catalogue of issues four weeks later.PDF sensor,new battery,faulty DPF, thermostat, ignition switch fan module and a warranty that wasnt worth the paper its written on. .not good at all.negative attitude from garage and now refusing to accept calls or letters.now registered with the small claims court and trading standards. the car now has a faulty power steering pump. total spent on repairs £1000 and numerous days off the road.i cant afford to sell the car and cant afford to keep it.........be very aware.......

purchased a Saab 93 from these guys travelled from Gloucester and was more then happy with the car especially the way they presenting the cars I.e valeting and full mot thanks guys more then happy with my purchase
Bought a Renault scenic 2/7/2020 2 weeks later won't start, contact them 2 be told my responsibility to get car to them for them to fix but they delivered it 2 me now been totally dicks started kicking off when they thought I had someone looking at the car?? Must have something to hide??? I now what a full refund and is in c.a.b and trading standards hands. Don't be fooled by them nice to you until something goes wrong then don't want to help in anyway

It’s ok we have all the proof we need we offered to get car back to us to repair or refund and even offered you half the recovery cost ave done everything a possibly can by law it’s ok this is now passed to a professional business solicitor who will deal with this matter from now
bought a lovely little 2011 Nissan micra from shotton part ex centre which is beautiful little car for my Nanna car was well presented and also great price and no pressure left to get on to look at the car with my mechanic a brought along as buying a second hand car can be risky thanks and will bare u in mind for future car buying

I bought a car worth £1400 from Shotton part exchange centre 1st Feb and on 18th March the car was un-drivavable. Rang up to the garage and the man on the phone wiped his hands with the complaint and said it's out of the warranty now nothing to do with me - baring in mind he new this was a first car for a first time driver when bought! The car was a semi-automatic and the gearbox has now completely gone and the car won't start 9/10 all of a sudden. Car was also sold without mention of the auto lock doors not working and was only told once handed the money over and handed the log book. The guy told us to put it into the garage as we have cover baring in mind this is for £250 and that wouldn't cover any of the issues i am having. Overall was helpful at the start of the sale - for obvious reasons - but when i rang up to complain (as i was 2 weeks out of warranty) he said it was nothing to do with him. AVOID AVOID AVOID TERRIBLE SERVICE OVERALL you will be sold a bad car!!!

I’d have left 0 stars if possible. I bought a car from Shotton Part Exchange Centre and after 2 days it developed a fault. The engine management light came on and went into limp mode with the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. I was told by the Walter Mitty salesman that it was my fault the engine management light had came on. I asked if I could bring the car back up and for his mechanic to have a look over and he refused point blank. I asked if I could part ex it and possible lose some money on the one I was returning and he put the phone down. When I rang back he blamed it on poor signal and done it again when asked for a refund. Stay well clear, I wasn’t expecting a Range Rover when I paid a £1000 for a car, but I expected one that worked.
It says it all very professional and well approachable the 2 lens are true and honest to there word if they say the car is rite for you ,, you can trust in them regarding that, very sensible and very helpful having bought another car off them for a family member the service was mint good price also I have a little motto that is IV TRIED THEM ALL AND THE REST BUT SHOTTON PART EXCHANGE IS TRULY THE BEST ( T MAC )
