Sold me a car that immediately (in 2 days) needed a new fan belt and clutch. They blocked my number and I'm having difficulty registering it in my name with dvla as they're clearly under investigation. Trades as ASW, Numota and Silverdale Cars.

On enquiring about the car for sale, I was told the car was in mint condition with full documentation etc, etc Ross offered to bring the car to my house with no obligation to buy, so I decided to go ahead. On the delivery day a man arrived, who when questioned said he knew nothing about the history of the car. After a test drive with my father the car didn't feel right and on opening the bonnet it was obvious the car had been in an accident. On opening the glove compartment all wallets/service book etc were missing. I had told Ross all docs would need to be present on the day for us to accept the car. On returning to my house and telling the 'delivery man' that the car wasn't as promised and that we didn't want the car, he became angry. He then didn't leave but rang Ross and said we had to speak to him. On speaking to Ross he first tried to convince us to buy the car, then he too became aggressive and rude saying we had wasted his time, while in fact he had wasted our time. I really needed a car and would have happily accepted it if it had the relevant documentation and hadn't had obvious damage repair. Ross was very pleasant when I enquired, promising everything I asked for and saying there is no obligation to purchase, But he was unacceptably rude and aggressive when we decided not to buy the car, even when it was his fault.

i brought a ford mondeo of these people a year ago but the load cover was missing and i said i would only buy the car if they replaced the missing load cover . I was told this was not a problem they would send me one.nothing after three months so phoned and i was told they would send one.still nothing to this day if i was you i would buy a car off some one honest

I've waited until I've driven the purchased car for 1,000 miles before writing the review, and I will still give Silverdale Cars & Commercials a ten out of ten. The purchased car was in immaculate condition, the communication and customer service was faultless and the whole process was as smooth and painless as it could possibly get. Highly recommended.

I bought a Mazda 3 from Silverdale cars & commercials 3 years ago. I have no hesitation in recommending them. The car was a high spec yes high mileage for year but not excessively so. This wasn't a problem for me as I am a low mileage driver and the car's mileage is now back to the average. They took my old car in part exchange and made me an above average offer for it unseen. The delivery of the car was as agreed and I was under no obligation to accept the car. Considering I live in Yorkshire no charge was made for the delivery. 3 years on no problems with the car and it flew through its first MOT.
My Mazda 3 was delivered on Friday 27th October and I couldn't be happier with not only the car, the service and help was second to none. Ross was extremely helpful and also offered to help me with sale of my old vehicle. Buying a car from Silverdale is a stress free and pleasurable experience it could not be simpler. So much more convenient than buying from a dealer. No heavy handed sales tactics or pressure to buy. They leave you to decide for yourself.! I would not hesitate to recommend Silverdale Cars & Commercials to anybody and would without doubt use them again in the future.

I recently had delivered my Mazda 3 from Silverdalecars and it is everything I could ask for and more. The car was delivered and was like new even down to the smell of the car! I was worried about buying a car not off a forecourt but Ross was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice, never pressured me (something I often feel when buying a car as a women). He was helpful and delivered a car I'm in love with within the time I wanted it and within my budget. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Received another lovely car from Silverdale cars. Would use again in the future for sure as this was my 3rd purchase from them in 9 years Everything as described and found them very helpful and extremely well priced as normall. !
The car was delivered as promised but came with no rear load cover in the boot, both front tyres needed changing despite Ross saying this would be done before delivery, the was a crack in the rear bumper and the car had 4000 miles more than stated. We contact Ross who said he would arrange for the faults to be fixed but surprise surprise we never heard from him again. Do not buy from Silverdale Cars & Commercials unless you want big bills afterwards

Although we sell vehicles at well below main dealer prices Silverdale cars take customer services and aftersales very seriously. We have been trading now for 13years, have sold thousands of cars and have never had a bad review so feel very disappointed to read this. Although very rare, mistakes can be made in our industry but we have always done everything possible to resolve any issue to a customer’s satisfaction and pride ourselves on this. As I have we have no way of telling who this is or the vehicle in question I ask that this customer contacts me to discuss further.
