Simms and Taylor hahaha They need to be shut down,i bought an astra from them first hour into driving home the trouble started called the owner Paul Simms stated not interested in any of the problems with the car must have been me that done them service light ,drop links ,airbag light(ecu),brake disks all worn and needs replaced now ,engine mounts, wheel bearings on back and front.....Been on to trading standards and they are helping me with this ....Supposed to have a warranty from RAC it covers nothing its a scam he asked for another 400 quid for the extra warranty and i like a mug payed it hoping i never would need it but it dont cover nowt. STAY CLEAR IF YOU NEED A CAR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO MORALS......NASTY PIECE OF WORK ....ALL NICE WHEN YOU PASS OVER YOUR MONEY BUT TRY AND GET A REPAIR IF IT ALL GOES WRONG. LIKE A LOT OF THIS LOTS CARS YOU GOT NO CHANCE.

Des This site is for people with genuine feed back about there experiences not for people who abuse there purchase then aren't happy when we don't put it right Damaging and buckling the wheels hitting them so hard that it brings on the airbag light 7 weeks after ownership, As for the rest of this review its total nonsence RAC warranties are one of the best on the market but they don't cover user abuse!!!!!
I went down this garage with my dad to buy my first car, we went to look at a few that seemed ok and decided on 1. It's been a great car so far and I got a really good service, would definitely go there again.
I brought a focus from sims a Talour 3 months ago I picked the car up on a car transporter and was told that the car had passed it's M.O.T that morning. When I got the car home after a ten minute drive it was clear that the car was a death trap and how it had passed a m.o.t I would like to know!!!The car needed a new passenger's side strut bottom arm and 2 lamber sensers. Sims and Taylor did pay for these repairs but since then I have had to replace more lamber senser as well as a wheel bearing and coil pack. My advice is AVOID AVOID AVOID these people DO NOT BUY YOUR NEW CAR FROM THEM.
I bought a corsa from Simms and Taylor and from the day I bought it it was nothing but trouble I lived 60 mules away and was a bit off a pain cos I had to take the car back to be fixed in which they kept the car for 3 days and when I returned they said they had done the work then when I took it to a garage near home the job Simms and Taylor said they had done had NOT been done I lost wages as the car was in a garage most off the time I had it and they refused to refund.
Absolute joke.!! AVOID AVOID AVOID.!! I purchased a car less than 2 months ago from this "dealer" on purchasing the car it had no fuel in it and the right rear indicator did not work.! i thought these were only minor problems so i rectified them myself, i also noticed there was a strange whistling noise coming from the car when it went above 50 mph i just thought this might have been a draught of some sort and thought nothing of it as i had brought the car from a "dealer" and it had just passed its MOT. I had trust in them that they would not charge me nearly £1000 for a car that is about to break down and become unusable. such a shame because i was really happy with the friendly customer service up untill now and would have happily recommended them however the friendly customer service attitude soon changed when i brought these issues to the attention of the owner who refused to give me an exchange or refund and became really defensive and aggressive when i asked for this he did however offer to do the repairs at a cost to me.!! which is nearly what i paid for the car he said i should have expected this for a car of the and mileage however i have little idea about cars and had put my trust in them to sell me a car that would last longer than two months - Trading Standards have been informed also the DVSA who regulates the garages that issue MOT'S

You sold my sister a corsa and she had nothing but trouble with it from the day she bought it so the car you sold her cost 1000 and it cost her that again to get all the repairs done.
