Purchased a preregistered Skoda Karoq from Simpsons Skoda in Preston and so far am pleased with the vehicle. Salesman, Chris Harrison, was helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Any questions I had were answered and any details were explained fully.
Had my Skoda Kodiaq a week now and am finding it really nice and responsive to drive. Simpsons Preston staff were really pleasant and welcoming. I am a person that likes to ask a lot of questions The salesman answered my queries in great detail I would certainly recommend from my experience with this dealership.

There is so much to like about Simpsons Sokda in Preston. I have always got a parking space, showroom clean light and bright, the reception lady at Colne is lovely very friendly makes a great cup of tea Salesman Ben was fantastic not pushy and let us have a descent test Buying the new car straightforward ready when they said and immaculate presentation Issues when for some reason they registered my new car to my other half, and gave me the old one but that was sorted when I went it for a chat Service area is clean and tidy I should be delighted however every time I go in one of there service advisors tries to fob me off with reasons why things are not getting done meaning much as I want to I just can’t trust them Please Simpsons be honest with your customer it’s all we ask
From test drive I fell in love with Skoda not just the car but Simpson's as a whole. I have been a BMW/ Mercedes owner for many years. It's not the car it's also and more importantly the after sales service. Simpson's have not let me down in any way. Thank you.
I wanted to lease a car so used their online facility. Told them exactly what I wanted e.g. Octavia VRS auto estate petrol, 3 years at 10,000 miles pa. They had a car due in which met all my needs and they came back with initial rental and monthly payments which I accepted. They sent me the finance form to complete which I did straight away. Couple of days later they phoned to say their price was for a 2 year deal and I would have to pay £1000 more for a 3 year deal. I did not proceed as I believe I was deceived on purpose.

Skoda Preston don't even deserve ONE STAR. The worst Dealership I have ever dealt with in 55 years of buying NEW CARS. BLATANT LIES BY DEALERSHIP. Or do they not understand about engineering on Skoda vehicles? NO HELP FROM SKODA CUSTOMER CARE UK. Pass the buck. NO REPLY FROM DIRECTORS OF SKODA HEAD OFFICE CZ. e mails ignored. SIMPSONS SKODA OF PRESTON STATE "The Weather causes hardened metal Brake Discs to disintegrate after only 18 months if you do not drive them every day and only do 3000 miles a year!!!!! Skoda Superb? or Not So Superb! Skoda Superb Brake Disc this Model Purchased 04/01/2016 Mileage July 2017 ONLY 8566 MILES AND ONLY 18 MONTHS OLD Purchase price £24,000 DEALERSHIP SIMPSONS SKODA PRESTON LANCASHIRE ENGLAND. Today THE BRAKES DISCS ON ALL FOUR WHEELS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED ALSO BRAKE PADS HAVE DETERIORATED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. NO WARRANTY CLAIM POSSIBLE ON BRAKES PARTS AFTER SIX THOUSAND MILES OR SIX MONTHS SKODA DEALERS ADVISE ME. THE QUOTED COST OF REPLACEMENT IS £650. NO COURTESY CAR AVAILABLE 5 WEEKS. the hardened surface has splintered and parts all around this discs have fallen off.It's Not just surface Rust it is deep into the metal disc. Skoda Customer Care UK do not want to get involved passing me back to dealer.Dealer says "you must take complaint up with Skoda CUSTOMER CARE UK". The reason for the corrosion the Skoda dealer gives me is ......... "OUTSIDE INFLUENCES"" when asked what's this means "They Say the Weather" Because I live by the coast ( Not on the Coast) the salt air will lie on the discs and if you don't use the vehicle everyday the salt will ingress into the metal. That makes them disintegrate QUICKLY and corrosion OF THE DISC AND PADS takes place. So you CANNOT not go on holiday and leave your car outside in the elements. THIS IS A BLATANT LIE BY SKODA, THERE ARE OTHER REPORTED CASES OF THIS Type of DETERIORATION ON A WEBSITE CALLED "BRISKODA " WITH EVEN LESS MILEAGE THAN MY CAR. WHEN THESE REPORTED CASES ARE FROM ALL AREAS NOT JUST COASTAL. Please do not buy a New Skoda if you live near the coast and can't drive it everyday,unless you are prepared to spend about £650 every 18 months. The quality of metal on these discs in my opinion on Skoda vehicles, is Not Fit For Purpose.I have purchased a NEW Car every 2 to 3 years for the Past 50 years all makes and NEVER HAD TO REPLACE A BRAKE DISC BEFORE .,,,MY FIRST AND LAST SKODA. Just won my Case by having a independent engineer inspection and judged that the quality of Metal is inferior and should not be used on braking systems. Full refund given But NOT A WORD FROM SIMPSONS PRESTON OR SKODA CUSTOMER CARE UK. SKODA ARE PUTTING LIVES IN DANGER IF THEY KEEP SUPPLING CARS WITH THESE INFERIOR METAL DISCS ON THEIR VEHICLES. Many weeks of hard work and shaming Skoda to gain this outcome but Skoda Still Not admitting That the product is "NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE" So why have you refunded my money?

Initially very happy with my Octavia purchased 2 years ago from Simpsons Skoda. I purchased the service "gold" plan which includes collection/delivery and a mini vallet. I recently called to arrange the second service and they were not prepared to collect because I am in Stockport. Rudely told it would take them too long and would not be worth "their" time! I was furious and only after several phone calls and persuasion they (reluctantly) agreed to collect. Day before service another call saying they couldn't collect because their driver was sick. I had to insist and in the end they collected. My car was however brought back still dirty inside - no vallet other than a quick vaccine had been done! The after sales service has left me feeling very undervalued as a customer. Would not recommend or buy from them again.
This is the WORST Dealership I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I am a Motability Customer & They sent me a letter offering me a test drive & an M & S gift voucher. Then they said it had been sent out by mistake & refused to honour it even though I'd never before been offered a test drive in the Car I was having from them. I emailed them, saying I was most unhappy about this & out of the blue they rang me and said they'd cancelled my Car with Motability only 3 weeks before I was due to collect it & 2 months after placing the order. Also I was NOT given a copy of what I'd ordered, & at one stage of the process found out that they had ordered the wrong type of Seats but that had been amended, which I very much doubt & think that the cancellation was to cover up their mess up, otherwise why would they NOT send me a copy of my order ? I have had several Motability Cars before this one and each time the Dealerships where I obtained all the previous Cars have gone out of their way to be helpful in every way they possibly could. The Manager at Simpsons is quite the opposite, he is a rude, obstroculas ignorant Man , as is his Staff. Even back to the first day when we went looking at Cars the Salesman we spoke to and asked to look at a Car parked in their Compound said it was too cold for him to accompany us outside and gave us the Keys to look at it ourselves, when you ring, no one can ever answer you, they are permanently in Meetings if you can believe that. I would STRONGLY advise potential Customers to buy elsewhere as did my Friend who loved the Car I had ordered , and fortunately had a much better experience than we did. If you are elderly this Company treat you like demented old Fools.

My car was in for it's second annual service and as arranged the dealer gave me a lift into the centre of Preston. When I got a call to say my car was ready the girl on reception-not the one who had seen me first-wasn't aware that I needed to be picked up and didn't have anyone available.When I suggested that there must be some spare person at the dealership who could come for me she said no,all the salesmen apparently had appointments and the person who should be collecting me was in Southport. I ended up walking the two and a threequarter miles back to the dealership. I am 71 but luckily quite fit. They also suggested after the service that my rear brake discs and pads needed changing.If this happens to you ,do what I did, get a second opinion and save yourself £279.

Don't buy from these they make you think you got a great deal but they rip you off management are very unhelpful and damn right RUDE never again will I buy off these and I hope no one else does !!!!
