Gaz turned out to be a man of his word...I had to take the car back a couple of times for (1). the right indicator switch was broken...Gaz obtained a replacement no problem (2). the air con wasn't working...Scott took the car to be re-gassed whilst I waited...the car turned out to be an excellent buy and ran beautifully...very pleased indeed, can't fault them and they give a good part ex allowance too..
I've never had any problems with Scott , very helpful and I've bought my second from them they give fair part exchange price too , I would recommend, cars are always cheap .

Hi I Brought a car from Sjb Tradecars on the 11th of December, they where recommended to me by a family friend and i will be recommending them in the future. They where helpful and everything was done quickly. I needed a car as i had crashed mine and wrote it off. I got myself a 61 plate punto so far so good. Can't thank them enough.
I purchased a Ford Focus from SJB trade cars ltd I called them they see memes very helpful but then I read the reviews and was a little put off but I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt . I went down they gave me the keys and left me to check the car over , the car was as described and was far cheaper than most cars on autotrader . I only wrote this review as i was put off at first but they was fine and I'm happy with my purchase .

Stay well away from this garage! Went to purchase a Mercedes from them today, after driving over 3 hours to get there, we found the car to still have hpi outstanding on it...... No credit card machine to take payment, and had to drive around the corner to pay his rent as they had a card machine, alarm bells ringing! Said we wouldn't go ahead with the purchase and that we wanted our deposit back. Very aggressive towards us, lots of messing around saying they didn't do online banking, to do a transfer of our deposit return, even drove to the local bank but closed, finally came away with a cheque but not convinced it won't bounce to the moon and back, but will be reporting to trading standards and the police if it doesn't clear. Stay well away from this garage!!

hi i emailed you the hpi clearance from hitachi finance yesterday morning there has nothing fraudulent been done by us , we dont have a credit card machine as there is serious crad fraud, the police cannot do anything about this matter as its not a criminal offence , 2 week the car was taken off sale and turned customers away from that car . deposits are non refundable , thanks for the review

Car was not as advertised, and we are still waiting on our deposit back. We have passed this onto our solicitor to deal with.
I've had no problems with SJB trade cars, the salesman was friendly and seemed to know his stuff, after a couple of weeks the engine management light came on and I called up, he said no problem just bring it down which I appreciated, it turned out to be nothing anyway.

you left a deposit on this car and you said you would collect within 4 week , 3 months later i was trying to contact you for payment but you never had the funds to buy it and now cause you never got your deposit back after the 3 months we waited you write a bad review .
Purchased a 2010 Vauxhall Astra in November 2014, part exchanged my BMW 5 series, total cost of around 6.5K. Astra was CAT C but had been put back on the road and had a new MOT. Within days it developed a number of serious faults which left it undrivable for 3 weeks until eventually SJB agreed to repair, this took 4 week, in which time they provided me with a less than suitable hire car, I only got this after sending a letter from my Solicitor. Got the car back mid January and it still has 30 remaining electrical fault, a buckled whel which it did not have when it went back, water in the headlight, a worn drive shaft and bearing... the list goes on. Since 19th Jan Scott and Gary have been almost impossible to get hold of. Every call end up the same, both claiming to call back and knowing very little about the issues. I live 4 hours away otherwise would have gone to their premise by now. Currently stuck with a card I can't drive requiring several hundred pounds of repairs, Made over 100 phone calls, mainly unanswered, sent a number of email and written letters, but not firm response, SJB keep promising to send a cheque and sort this out, but nothing has been done several weeks later. Trading standards are uselsee. Sent 3 letters to SJB which remain unanswered so have no option but to repair the car at my cost whilst I now start HM Court Proceedings. Have also filled a complaint with DVLA as they sold the car with tax. Complaint also filled with VOSA as the MOT I believe was suspect, 1 bald tyres, 2 x missing wheel nuts and rear pads worn past wear indicator. Although they did not do the MOT the arranged and paid for it at a local garage.

This matter got dealt with in court and mr steele never got any compensation and i purchased the car back for 4000 which he bought from me at 6295 12 months previous , liars always get found out
Doug Steele in response to Doug Steele
This matter was resolved via the Courts Small Claims Service and Mr Baker of SJB Trade Cars LTD and myself came to an amicable and mutually acceptable arrangement in which he purchased the Vehicle back from me for £4000. This matter is now closed and I have requested the review be removed.
Purchased car from here on 20th October 2014. 10 days later the car set on fire whilst I was driving my 3 month old baby home. Fire brigade had to put out and car was destroyed. They said it was an electrical fire behind the dash. Rang sjb trade cars 6 times to discuss repair/refund. Was ignored, fobbed off and lied to. After 6 phone calls still nobody has rang me back. And when they answer the phone they pretend they don't know about the issue, even though I have explained it 6 times! Absolute Cowboys selling unsafe cars which aren't fit for purpose. I am now commencing legal proceedings with them. Avoid like the plague.
