Had Kuga for year. Had some irritating problems for first 4 months, and some since which were all dealt with professionally and courteously even though I (unfairly)moaned at them constantly. Shout out to Stephen and Jamie. Thankyou.
I recently bought a Fiesta Vignale from Hartwell Ford at Watford. The vehicle was purchased and collected two weeks ago. From the moment of initial contact with Hanat, the dealer sales consultant, through to the completion and collection the experience was superb. A hassle free efficient and friendly transaction was the result.

Phoned & put deposit on a really nice Ford Puma on Tuesday morning. Went to view & test drive after work on the same day. Loved the car & agreed part exchange on my focus & agreed the sale of the Puma, albeit the Puma was priced lower on Autotrader than it was at the garage. The Autotrader price was agreed & authorised by the manager. It was agreed I would pick up the car on the Thursday of this week. I received documentation by email which I filled in that morning. The sales Rep called me around 2pm & said 'see you at 3.30'. As I was leaving work at 3pm to collect the car I received a call telling me there was a problem with the car & it had been purchased by someone else 2 days prior to me viewing & test driving. Strange as the car didnt appear on Autotrader 'til the Monday, they claim it was sold on the Sunday. I was told there was a 'glitch' in the system & another sales colleague had sold the car & hadn't logged it. I don't believe this to be true & am convinced they held the car back because of the pricing mistake they made when advertising the car. I am furious as I had gone to the trouble of changing insurance details over & a disappointed as dont think they were completely honest with me.
Poor customer service by the branch. Having spent a significant amount of money in buying a used car from the dealer, I was promised that I would get a full tank of fuel along with a few defects being rectified. On the day of delivery, I was told to fill up the car myself and purchase a new exhaust tip for the car as they were unable to obtain this from the original manufacturer. I was to then provide the receipts for which a refund will be provided. Over 3 months on and having chased on numerous occasions, I have still not received a refund despite being told a refund will be issued. I have now had to get Customer Service involved but have not yet received a response from them! Next step is the motor ombudsman. I would give zero stars if I could however 1 star is the lowest the scoring will allow. *update 15/12/2021* - Terrible customer service from the branch manager as they decided it was appropriate to send an aggressive email despite the branch being in the wrong. Glad to see they're striving to provide outstanding customer service! I have no trust in the company, and I'll happily take any future business elsewhere.

Not worth wasting your time with this place! Not only does it take weeks to get any calls back but you’d be lucky to even get that! Every time I called no matter what day or time everyone was busy….until I asked for my deposit back and suddenly someone was free to talk to. After 2 weeks of trying to get ahold of them to find out about a finance quote I gave up and demanded my deposit back, I was told 3 working days at the most, surprise surprise 8 days later still nothing, after calling to find out what is going on I’m sure you can guess what I was told! Yup everyone busy and they’ll give me a call back! Did that call come? No! Absolutely avoid this place, i went to a different dealership and within 5 days had my new car! Took these guys 2 weeks to actually pull their fingers out!!!
They never call you back, never reply to emails EVER, terrible communications.
My partner and I have been looking for two new cars for such a long time and we had been to so many car dealerships but we never felt like anyone actually cared for what we wanted, they only cared about the commission. We went to Hartwell Ford in Watford and met Shaz and he couldn’t of been nicer. He treated us with respect and took so much time to help find us exactly what we wanted. We didn’t feel rushed and we didn’t feel under pressure to purchase anything. He took the time to understand exactly what it was we wanted and then gave us a number of cars that fitted the criteria. We found two cars we really liked and we where ready to purchase when the second lockdown was announced! We were gutted as we thought we would of had to of waited till December to get our cars! Shaz went above and beyond and ensured we got our cars just days before lockdown was enforced. We cannot rate Shaz enough, great guy! If we ever wanted to change or update our cars we would absolutely go back to Hartwell Ford to see Shaz.
My motability ford kuga was taken back to watford because of some problems I had with the car Firstly the sterio keep cutting out and the screen goes blank. All they did was an update even though I know there is a problem with theses and it can't be fixed properly, when it came back none of the phone were connected and the dashcam was in the foot well Secondly the car is only doing around 25 mpg nothing about this was even mentioned when the car was returned Thirdly on the odd occasion the cabin smells badly of diesel and the answer they gave to not being able to do anything about this was their wasn't 3/4 of a tank of diesel in the car But in there favour they did manage to do all this in about an hour The outcome is I contacted motability an they have told me to take it elsewhere as this is now the second time the car ha been in to you and you've basically done nothing I wont be coming back
