Bought an X5 from SLK Motors which had an engine failure in week 8 messed me about for 2 weeks on who would fix it warranty not registered to cut a long story short 5 months off the road with pretty much engine failure Slk no help swerving and dodging thank god for the finance company who got it fixed but sill 5 months no car ! If you use them your stupid fact he should be shut down!!!
I'm a motorcycle technician so I'm not stupid when it comes to this side of things. The MOT was clearly done by a 'friend', was a passable car but should of been a fair few advisory they clearly didn't want to fix. In first month it need a wheel bearing and top strut mount which I had to pay for the parts! And the swirl flaps in the manifold was bodge and the WARNING LIGHT WAS COVERED UP UNDER THE DASH!! wasn't like that when I viewed the car as I check which either means it failed between then and me picking it up or they took the good one off and fitted a broken one! After getting the car back they had broken one of the breather pipes which caused me to break down after there bodge job of tapping it up came off! I have pictures and videos to prove everything. It then developed a another fault with the throttle body sensor and foot pedal sensor causing it to go into limp mode. After explaining in a technician and the fault is intermittent I dropped the car off, he cleared the faults with a scan tool which I had done multiple time (had told him this) and then gave it me back doing a round trip of 300miles!! To then break down on the way home with be same fault when he said he fixed it!! I then told him what my job was and he started to post me parts to fit myself to fix the problem! Thing is they was all second parts parts and didn't fix it. After this I gave up speaking and asking for help even though the warranty was still in. Few months later And I have spend £1600 on timing chain and vales etc, £350 on wheel bearing (he hadn't fixed properly with decent parts) £300 on brake discs and pads (should of been on MOT as an advisory) all in 6months of buying the car and with more to go and I'm currently still fixing the wiring issue for the throttle body myself. Scot and his dad are pure C**Ts
Bought a vehicle from SLK however developed huge problems after 3 months costing over £2500 to rectify. Extremely unhelpful as it was just out of warranty. Very sarcastic on phone telling me to get a better job and maybe I may not need finance and could buy a car. Very disappointed in service awful way to deal with customers I only wanted a little courtesy thanks SLK.

Your second review trying to make us look bad but just a couple of things I'm gonna state so people no the truth, 1. Report fault that happened 3 months after purchase 8 MONTHS AFTER SALE WHEN OUT OF WARRANTY 2. SEND email to me 8 months after to report the issue first time I've spoken to you since purchase so I give you a call to see what's up and your start speaking to me like I'm a naughty school kid then have to GET IN THAT YOUR A POLICE OFFICER not quite sure what you expected that to do or change 3, YOU contacted finance company and told them the situation and they told you the exact same as me that if you would of contacted at point of issue this could of been resolved and the decided your claim in my favour 4. Bit of advice instead of trying to make us look bad when it didn't work in your favour, if you ever find a fault contact your dealer ASAP and give them the chance to resolve the issue not try go down these roots 8 months after ,we clearly give you warranty for a reason but you never wanted to even try use it till it was run out , 5. The car was a 11 year old with 120k on and the claim of £2500 was out of this world for a brake calliper sticking and an exhaust blowing , clearly these happened due to wear and tear due to age as we discovered you had mot'd the car 4 months after purchase and pass without any issues
Bought a car back in September from this dealer and was very pleased with condition and it was as described as I had left a deposit over phone and traveled 4 hours to collect the following week, on arrival I was collected from train station and taken to there yard I signed all finance paper work and away I was, the car is a great runner and I'm very pleased with my purchase would recommend this dealer to other people
I purchased an Audi A4 from here back in July. The car was very nice and clean and in excellent condition and I have had no issues with it at all. The dealers are very helpful and were able to answer any questions. I am very happy with the service and I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

I bought a car from SLK and I had to reject the vehicle. It broke down numerous times and the dealership kept it in for ages and nothing. The car continued to break down so I called it a day with them. They also lied about the cars history stating that it had only had 3 owners when it was in fact 7. I would not recommend this dealership at all.

Scott from SLK Motors Ltd in response to Poor rejected car
Not very good writing a bad review when you haven't even brought the car back to us and you still have it using it, you I fact rang up stating faulty dsg gearbox as your dads a mechanic so we agreed to buy another gearbox put it in and turns out it wasn't even that so we still agree to replace parts that it needed, now you Carnt afford finance payments you come up with excuse of owners you knew about them when you had logbook in your hand and signed it, you was that much in a rush taking the car as you was surprised you could even get finance after been rejected by number of companies, writing bad reviews is not gonna get you no where the only way would get you somewhere is if you were to ring us or being car back not try and make us look bad,
I bought a Mercedes from SLK Motors back in April. The service was very good overall. The car was clean and just as described. There were a few nigglies that needed doing but the mechanic came to my house to do the repairs for me so its all okay now. The car also came with a space saver rather than a spare wheel but other than that I am happy with everything and I would recommend this dealership. The car was very good value for money.

Very good car overall did develop small fault which I was worried about at first but after a call to Slk motors they got it picked up the next day then was fixed in 24 hour at no cost to me, very good service recommended
Bought the car, which looked to be in a fantastic state, once we bought the car it went down hill. They wouldn't resolve the amount of issues happened. Went to warranty and they hadn't even put a 3 month warranty on. Complete and utter waste. Spend £4000 on car. Paid £2800 to fix the issues within 5 months. Please don't buy anything from SLK Motors!
I couldn't fault SLK Motors if I tried, the car was as described, no nasty surprises or hidden faults. The staff were knowledgeable and always willing to help.
