Fantastic experience buying from SMC, just opened up new dealership in Chelmsford, great price for part ex and extended warranty for new car. Guy's all very nice and not pushy and covid safe. Arranged finance on the day and drove the car away same day. Would definitely recommend buying a car from SMC.

I purchased a fiat 500x and I discovered it had a problem 7 weeks into owning it. Jamie and Joe have done everything that can be done to be accommodating and fixing the problem with the car. I also live 93 miles away but they have managed the logistics of collecting the vehicle and leaving me a courtesy vehicle to use. In the climate we are currently in they have been more than fair and have even given me a year gold warranty for the inconvenience as the part required is on a 5 week hold. All in all , I believe these to be the cream of car dealers and will do all they can to resolve problems

Went to view a car earlier this month. Described online as excellent condition. When I arrived the car was in poor condition. Had several panels missing inside and out and several noted and obvious faults, this was all before even starting it. I fully understand its a second hand car but for 10k + and a description of excellent condition I was left very dissapointed. The advisories on tyres from most recent MOT were not carried out. After discussing with sales agent he said the list of faults could be rectified but the trust was gone. I would advise taking someone with you that has an idea about cars.

I bought my partner a car for his 50th birthday as a surprise, shenfield motor company went over and above on helping me get his dream car, they also delivered it to us on the morning of his special day and done a super extra valet on top which I didn’t expect, thank you Simon and the team he is thrilled to bits with his new baby

I bought a car from here several months ago now. I am still waiting for them to get a part for my car that was very clearly missing when I bought it. Every time I call, I get dismissed saying that they still haven’t found the part. However I have looked myself, and seen places that sell them. Just don’t feel it’s fair I have to pay, when we agreed they would get it as a part of buying the car. Awful service and would not recommend.

I booked an appointment for 12noon today (23/05/20) to view a Ford Mondeo I was very interested in. I arrived at 11.45 having driven just over an hour from my home. I spoke to a salesman on his forecourt and was informed that the car was sold! I did not even receive a courtesy call from them with that information and would have thought that because I had a pre-booked appointment, they would have held the car until I had the opportunity to view it. They could have told the buyer that someone is booked to view the car and if I decided not to buy it, they could have contacted them afterwards. All in all, this was a waste of my time and fuel and I feel this company acted VERY unprofessionally.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Even touched up the car after purchase for me. Top guys
