I've bought a few cars in my time, but this is the first one from Iain. He's a really genuine chap and is definitely one of the good guys. I read his reviews before enquiring, there weren't a huge amount (which is why I'm leaving this review now), but those few customers who'd taken the time to leave feedback had all described him as polite and helpful. They were right; no pushy sales tactics, no upselling add-ons, no pulling the wool over my eyes. He was just upfront, honest and even let me road test alone which makes a change in this day and age. I've not god a bad word to say and will be supporting smith and Clarks Ltd as a great little independent dealership. Iain at Smith and Clarks managed a 2-day turnaround from me initially viewing my Jaguar XF to taking it home...pretty impressive if you ask me like! As far as workhorses go, I'd say the Mitsubishi L200 is doing the job nicely...in both style & comfort. We came across Smith & Clarks on Autotrader and were pleasantly surprised to learn they're just 30 mins down the road. Iain was brilliant - Super helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We wasted no time putting the pickup to work on the farm the very day we brought it home, so it's safe to say it's seen its fair share of mud. It's definitely nowhere near as clean! A huge shoutout to Iain for making the entire purchasing process efficient and enjoyable. We're thrilled to have stumbled upon our new local go-to for future vehicle needs. My three kids have all got their own cars now, so I decided to downsize from my Range Rover Vogue. I've opted for a smaller Evoque and it's much more practical, especially where Muti-storey carparks are concerned. I can't praise Iain at Smith & Clarks enough.
