In all my time driving over 20 years I have never come across such a terrible company as Specialist Cars BMW in Stevenage. As you can see from the reviews they great at selling cars but when it comes to servicing cars they are crooks they will quote u a price and then some time later they will increase it substantially..They will never return calls they are very rude - this is a company to be avoided - please don’t make the same mistake I made - STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHAMBOLIC COMPANY
Great service from Jason in the pre-owned car sales team who was straightforward, clear and did what he said he would. He was also super patient in explaining various features and procedures etc. No hard selling at all. Would definitely use Specialist Cars BMW in Stevenage for my next car purchase.

My husband and I bought our dream car here at BMW Stevenage. We were being looked after by Lee Wadsworth who has been and always is really helpful and friendly he really took the stress out of buying our BMW 330e. I would definitely recommend BMW Stevenage to my friends and family and tell them to ask for Lee! Keep up the good work

When you drive to Specialist Cars BMW Stevenage sales department, you may find it difficult to decide which car you want to go for, due to the great choices they have on sale. Its always nice to have a customer sales person who listens and cares for their customer to simplify the tough decision of picking a BMW from the different great choices available on sale at Specialist Cars BMW Stevenage. When I was upgrading my old MBW 3 series (320D ED SPORT), I was served by Angelo. I wish to thank Angelo for his customer support and guidance he offered me during the ordering process of my new car (320I M Sport). Angelo listened to what we wanted including all preferences and made what was a tough process to be so smooth and positive experience. Getting a new product always brings along the challenge of learning how to use the new product. I wish to thank Angelo for the time he spent introducing me to the key features of the new car once it had arrived. After Angelo’s introduction to my new car and the quick test drive, I am happy to say it’s a fantastic and beautiful car from BMW. I have seen cars that park themselves on TV, I did not realise this is a feature in the BMW 320I M Sport model. The car makes you smile as it automatically parks itself. Angela customer’s support was appreciated, he made the process of buying the new car so smooth and positive. Arriving at Specialist Cars BMW Stevenage at 9.15 am absolutely nowhere to park mainly due to new vehicles taking up all customer parking, ended up parking on road. Waited 45 minutes to be seen by a member of staff who advised I might het parking ticket, yes there it was timed at 9.20 am. Asked to have tyres checked as well as service as vehicle info constantly advised low pressure on all tyres when at correct levels. On arrival home I phoned for Rob Dunnet left message asking him to call, it’s now 3 days later still no call. Picked car up at 4.30 told all ok with exception of new tyres required. Got in car and first thing I noticed was vehicle information showed tyre pressures low. Guess what, I will not be taking my BMW back to Specialist Cars
We are BMW past customers and we popped in to specialist cars stevenage on the spur of the moment. Lee Wadsworth looked after us. He listened and we discussed various options. We came back later the same day to test drive and then bought our excellent pre reg 420d gran coupe. From start to finish Lee excelled. He was knowledgeable, attentive, proactive and personable. A great credit to specialist cars.

When recently purchasing our X1 my daughter (13) noticed an i8 in the Specialist Cars BMW showroom. With the i8 being her dream car we asked if it would be possible to take a test drive. Without hesitation Angelo, offered and today her wish came true when she was taken out for a spin in it around Stevenage. We can't thank the team enough, and who knows with aspirations of becoming a WSL football player one day maybe she'll be back to make a purchase of her own! It's rare to receive such service these days and we feel Angelo really did go above and beyond to make us and his customer of the future happy.

We found the BMW sales consultant for used vehicles, in Stevenage, professional and kind towards us as a couple. He was knowledge, yet honest. Thank you to Specialist Cars BMW Stevenage.
The customer service we received at the specialist cars BMW in Stevenage was truly awful, well below the standard of what should be expected from a BMW-approved dealer. We brought our BMW for a recall, left it there in the morning and agreed when they offered a courtesy service wash. What a mistake.......When we left the car the paint work on the bonnet was in excellent order. When we collected the car at the end of the day, we noticed that there were multiple area of flaked paint on the bonnet and a big scratch on the side. We phoned as soon as back home, sent pictures and brought the car back the day after. One of the staff looked at the damages, took pictures and told us that one of their manager will contact us to discuss the matter. Despite multiple phone calls and mail , we had to wait nearly 3 weeks before we were told that the damages were already done when we brought the car etc... Complete lies , explanation given based on pure speculation in attempt to deflect responsibilities and condescending emails from one of their manager. I would avoid to use this dealer at any cost in the future
I have been e92 mileage 164k 09 reg. I reported three problems to bmw 1. Noise in the engine 2. Smoke 3. Loss of power even in correct gear Main root cause was broken swirl flap as discussed. After diagnosis they gave me quote of £2500 although it's V high to spend that much for car worth £2500 I went ahead out of my love for the car. After 3 weeks of repair they thought they fixes it but failed to catch misfire problem from my initial report. Finally they were about to deliver the car then found out its misfiring they took approval of £600 from me to diagnose finally they say piston head cylinder head n other parts are damaged and need engine replacement. They made a complete fool out of me. Why couldn't they diagnose complete problem before giving initial quote and wasting my £3000 now obviously I will scrap the car. specialist cars is demanding me to clear the outstanding bill for the car which is going to be scraped. Please note that I have maintained the car to highest standards always being serviced at bmw network. I feel cheated by both bmw and Specialist cars
