Ever since i purchased a car just under 4 months ago. Nothing but trouble 4 breakdowns some issues were fixed by garage. So far it's cost me £2000 in parts and labour. Still car doesn't run right. Now considering having a recon engine fitted at a further cost of 2700. I paid £6000 for the car.

When I was looking for a car, service was great but aftercare not so good and took a while to sort things out and then another problem 5 mths later didnt want to know but then seemed to know what the problem could be, I just feel garage dont want to know after you have it even though you have rights etc, but happy bunch when you are looking, just puts me off garages like this.

My daughter purchased her first car from Pete at Staple Hill Motors, the car is in immaculate condition and just what she wanted. Pete allowed her time to have a look around the car arranged a test drive and a 'no pressure' informative chat about the finer details of owning a car. Upon collection he taxed it for her from the garage leaving her very little to do but drive away and enjoy her new wheels! I bought a car from these guys 3 months ago and have just had to payout for a new clutch and other parts. When I tried to discuss the 3 month warranty, they said it was invalid as it was ‘sold as seen’ Part exchanged my Toyota Yaris for £200 which they then advertised to be sold for £800. Showed me a 12 year log book when viewing but once bought log book was missing from the car. Avoid

i purchased a car from here and shortly after the cambelt snapped and damaged 12 valves. the garage has refused to repair it even though the cambelt was over its recommended mileage. On initial purchase they informed me that they had changed it but obviously have not, they are now stating that they offered a change on purchase which is also incorrect. The repair costs are £2000 and they accept no responsibility. On the phone call they were very threatening.
