I bought the car. On second day it started to breaking down. After week car was repaired and started to breaki g down again after 2 weeks. Guy who sold it said "i dont care you just paid 2000 pounds for it, Im not going to fix it anymore because i lost money on it allready". Phone was recrded, went to citizen advaice berau and following their advaice Im going to small claim court to fight for my money. I reported this guy to trading standards as well, hope they will revoke his licence.

Bought a car from Muhammad at Starline Motors (now using his real name) and started off well enough. Usual car salesman tactics etc. Then the issues. Never received any warranty paperwork even when asked multiple times and gave my e mail address to send to THAT HE ASKED FOR. Car broke down with major failure of ECU after 9 weeks. Towed the car to his garage as Under protection of Consumer Rights Act 2015 I’m entitled to full and free repair within reasonable time frame and without significant inconvenience to myself. That was 2 months ago and still no car....he ignores calls, ignores texts, won’t return voicemails, only answers when I called off an unknown number....on one the very few occasions I did talk to him he accused me of “washing the engine, that’s why it broke”....clutching at straws there I think...lies after lies! I’m now £5300 out of pocket and have no car to show for it! CAB advised me now to go through legal process to reclaim my money as been significant inconvenience and completely unreasonable time frame. Never mind the stress of having to deal with this situation. STAY AWAY!

Hi can you tell me, did you have any success at small claims court? With this car dealer Muhammed?
Rhys Campbell-Smith in response to Dishonest And Unreliable
Took him to small claims. Won the case as Judgement by Default as he failed to respond to court papers or represent. CCJ issued against him. Didn’t want to fork out more money with bailiffs/sheriff of the court only for him to refuse payment. I cut my losses and moved on with my life and have paid for multiple car repairs since. Check Companies house online. He has had multiple failed companies. Clearly has no honesty or integrity.
Amazing service and friendly staff..

We saw a car from Starline on Autotrader and made appointment to test drive the car. We did a test drive and all seemed all ok. We paid the deposit and agreed to get the car delivered, which was done by the Trader driving it to us. On day 1 of owing the car, problems began. No receipt or warranty (3 months stated) was provided by the Trader. After less than a couple of miles of driving, the car started to make a whirring sound when changing gear. We were advised it had a faulty gearbox and clutch, both of which needed repair or replacement. We returned the car after consultation with the CAB, and under the Consumers Rights Act 2015 requested a full refund. However, Trader wanted to deduct a small amount towards the repair (which was identified by 2 independence mechanics as being caused in advance of the vehicle being sold). Eventually we obtained an almost full refund. I would not recommend based on my experience.

Tried to buy a car from them, agreed a price, paid a deposit and then the comms just dried up. Countless times I'd be told I'd be "phoned back in 10 mins" and the call never materialised. They paid back the deposit after two weeks so I can't say they have been dishonest but they have seriously wasted my time and patience. I have to recommend that people look elsewhere for cars.
Really poor post sale customer service. Starline Motors lied and will not contact you when they say they will.
Just recently purchased a car with "Adam" at least that's the name he goes by. The car itself has caused me nothing but problems. Faulty battery faulty lights when discussed with "Adam" he just puts it down to wear and tear. STAY WELL CLEAR!! You'll regret wasting your money at Starline Motors.
In January 2017, we bought our first car as a couple Ford Fiesta. Starline Motors were really welcoming and took us on a test drive. They were extremely helpful and assisted us buying the insurance cover at their office. Highly recommended and will definitely be buying in future.

It's amazing how many 5 star reviews he is suddenly getting now after the first ever real one in February. Anyone would think he was writing these himself?
