I have received excellent, quality service from the Stephen James Bickley Road team in the past. My experiencer of a major service last Friday was awful, expensive, incomplete and I left feeling I was duped. I had discussions with 3 members of the service team to resolve my issues - NOT ONE had any understanding, sympathy or willingness to resolve the problems. I can only assume this failure is due to the Hedin take-over or senior managers being on leave

First visit to the Bromley Branch today, for a pit stop service. Booked online and requested a staff member to contact me with regards to my booking and no one did! Used they customer app chat and no response! Customer service not friendly or welcoming on arrival, just ignored, even when a staff member asked one of the service team to assist me, they ignored him! Gave feedback to the Team Service Manager , who didn’t seem bothered at all! Work was completed quickly, which is the only good comment I can leave. Not sure I will return in the future as service with a smile doesn’t hurt! Not what you would expect from a brand like BMW!

Purchased a 70 plate 218i gran tourer took it back to them with lack of damping on the suspension noise coming off front wheel and the gearbox slipping they booked it in for a week to investigate 3 hours later they rang me to say nothing wrong with it showed me a short video which had nothing to do with the complaint and sent me on my way outcome i dont think this was a new car if this is ment to be a qualiy make of car you couldnt give me one for free it took over a year for them to get me the car they kept fobbing me off saying its down to covid yer right !!!!

Been a visiter at Stephen James Bromley for 14 years. Some good visits some bad. Visited end Sept. Oil leak sump gasket(drop front suspension to repair) new vacuum pump and new rocker cover(old plastic cover was cracked) a lot of work and expensive. but 9 weeks later and no oil leaks. Perfect. suddenly car started clunking from front end when turning left and turning right. According to the internet it was suspension, steering column, sway bars, bearings. ££££. So it did seem to be getting worse had to take it in. The car was at the dealers all day and I'm thinking ££££. Received a video by text from technician showing me around the car and what he had found. Suspension, Steering all ok tightened up all engine trim and air filter box was loose. Two test drives by technician and all seems good. I noticed some new screws had been replaced. which were missing, and the BILL ZERO. No charge. WOW Excellent service Thank you and the car is perfect.

Do not touch them with a barge pole! Used to be a fab dealership. Now dreadful. Good shop-front, bad technicians. Ethos is make as much money from any / every job. And quality of work is woeful. I have 3 BMW's I've taken to Bromley for years. Won't go anywhere near then now. Source a Coopers or ideally a Sytner. Have zero confidence in Stephen James Bromley.
I had my car repaired here Charlie kept me in the loop with the status of the repair and Archie the tech that worked on my car was fantastic his attention to detail did not go unnoticed he went to great lengths to insure a high standard of repair was carried out with a fast turn around. He also kept me informed via a informative video of my car where he gave me helpful details about my tyres
My car was re-called for (2018 battery cable & the blower motor re-call under the bmw warranty, while there I paid £99 for an in-depth vehicle check for a lack of power problem, after the check only to be told they will start with a full replacement of injectors, ignition coils, & plugs! & then re-test, 😳 knowing full well the fuel pump was faulty &. Within the 10 year bmw warranty re-call & should of been replaced strait away, but no instead would of happily gone ahead & carried out all unnecessary Works! & instead cost me over £400 to be fixed elsewhere! What a rip-off! 😡☹️ (Sorry dishonest & arrogant people at bmw Bickley) not happy at all, advice steer clear of Stephen James BMW Bromley !!.

According to Ombudsman instruction I filed an official complaint to Mr Andrew Sitch in October 2017. According to Ombudsman instruction the dealership has 8 weeks to respond: https://www.themotorombudsman.org/consumers/make-a-complaint No answer from Stephen James BMW Bromley.

Same for me, Mr Sitch never bothered to answer my complaint.
I rang to enquire about re-coding my car and keys after a set was stolen. I ended up having to ring back to follow up , which was not the service I was looking for. However, when I rang back, I got through to Sandra Granger who is an absolute star. Sandra reassured me that the service I'd received so far was NOT what Stephen James-BMW in Bromley were about, and she was as good as her word in ensuring that the right people resolved my query, and quickly. Sandra even called me the following morning to confirm that all was now well. I didn't buy a car, so only my rating for 'knowledgeable' is relevant below.

Its the second time i bought my BMW into Stephen James BMW Bromley and twice they have not dealt with an issue. I pointed out that i had an issue and it was clearly on my dashboard and nothing was done AFTER the service... The first time they could not tell me if i could order a set of headlights for an import vehicle!! Another garage in Catford had to tell me!! Shocking lack of attention.
