They sold us GAP and Paint insurance, but having charged us £800 they didn't actualy setup the policies so we go to make a claim and... no policy on that vehicle... Oh and they didn't do half the things they said they would when we brought the car... like charge the car enough for us to get home (Pure electric) like they said they would.
AVOID THIS VANYAGE GROUP TOYOTA IN SOLIHULL MUST READ IF YOU BUYING A TOYOTA OR GIVING IT IN FOR ANY KIND OF WORK. THEY LOOK FOR ANY EXCUSE TO VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND NOT CARRY OUT ANY WORK. My insurance company fitted an insurance approved Tracker from a well known Tracker company for extra security when we bought this car brand new. One morning the vehicle wouldn't start (2016 Toyota avensis diesel) with 14000miles, this dealership voided my warranty due to my car having a Tracker fitted and would not carry out an investigation to what the problem was after 4 weeks of them having the vehicle!!! Even got Toyota HQ involved and they said to take it into another dealership as 'we can't do nothing because they are franchises' I then took it to another dealer and got the problem sorted which Was the fuel pump.
Having recently lost £500.00 by Vantage Group Toyota in Solihull I feel it necessary to explain the circumstances in which this happened and to state what should be done to resolve the situation. On Sunday 16 August 2015 I visited Vantage Toyota Solihull with the intention of purchasing a Toyota Yaris 5 door 1.33 VVT-i Excel under one of your finance schemes. The scheme I refer to did not require a deposit to be paid. However I was persuaded to pay a deposit of £500.00. I decided not to proceed with the purchase and returned to the showroom on Thursday 20 August 2015. I was then told that the £500.00 would not be refunded to me. I was not made aware of this at the time of payment. This seems extremely unfair because if I had not been talked into giving your company £500.00, I would still have my money. Also, If I had been informed that this deposit was non refundable I would not have paid it as a deposit was not required anyway. As far as I am concerned there is is no question that my £500.00 should be given back to me immediately. I look forward to hearing from you.
