Puchased Audi A3 Cabriolet beginning Sept. Scott was great with whole transaction, very helpful not pushy. Sorted out Cambelt as requested, at additional low cost. He even reimbursed me for os turn signal bulb. Not just any bulb. Which unforunately stopped working with in 2 days. I was unable to to return the car for bulb I arranged the sort my self. Thank you Scott
BE WARNED, shocking experience with this garage. I went to look at a car today, I was also interested in a part exchange. The guy asked to drive my car up and down the road which I agreed to. He drove at a ridiculous speed and then crashed my car into a parked vehicle. This has left a dent and scratch on the bumper. Be warned people do not let this garage test drive your car if you looking for a part exchange.

Buying from a garage I thought it would give me some piece of mind that what I buying was in good condition. I had an independent inspection done (after buying stupidly). Car had a snapped coil spring and unsafe brakes that all needed changing. Apparently the car was serviced before collection which amounted to an oil and filter change, Would these issues not have been seen when their mechanic was under car draining the oil? Or was the oil even done? We'll never know. I had the work done on the car myself because I wouldn't trust them doing the work. Including an oil and filter change. The buyer should not be expected to climb under the car to inspect it. Its the garage selling the car to make sure its up to a good standard!
I brought a Fiat 500 from Stevenage Cars in June paying the full £4495 as the dealer wasn’t willing to negotiate, we were reluctant to buy from them as the guys are beyond rude but it was the only place locally that had the colour we wanted. By the end of December the car was in the garage with gear problems. The garage kept the car over Christmas and got back to us to say the gear box had gone and it was around £1200 to get mended. By this time the warranty had expired but hadn’t when the car first went in. I explained this to Lee who wasn’t willing to do anything as we hadn’t called the warranty company on the day it went in, at that point it could have been a minor problem so why would we, we have done less than 1500 miles......I would recommend you steer clear of the dealership, you only have to look at their rating, just wish we had before we parted with our cash.

We confirm you had a issue with your gearbox, any issue with a car is unfortunate. We sell over 700 cars a year and sometimes faults can occur. The price for your gearbox to be reconditioned was approx £600 fitted and that we made a contribution to. As your fault was made aware to us after the 6 months we feel we have been more than fair. As for the price if we can reduce prices we do but certain specs or colours may come at a premium due to demand Many thanks Stevenage cars ltd

You bought a car that did not have a log book so you could not tax it. You was made aware of this. It was a car that had only just come in part exchange and the last owner could not find the log book. We offered to refund but you was happy with the car so wanted to wait for log book so you could tax it
Really pleased with a 3 year old Nissan Leaf purchased from Scott at Stevenage Cars. 2nd key was initially missing (as yet unsent by dealer) and he kindly sent it on a few weeks later ince received. Can't fault car, good VFM and got a 6M warranty for peace of mind (especially reassuring after the last private sale car i bought failed 10days after purchase!). Thanks again! Ben

Rude customer service I called to ask a few questions about the car before coming down to view it.I asked has the car got full service history and and the response was well I wouldn't be selling it if I didn't would I. 100% will not be buying a car from Stevenage Cars.
Having gone to view a car and test drive it last week at Stevenage Cars, everything looked good. The car had some cosmetic issues (which were already very clear from the auto Trader ad) They were pleasant enough as individuals and didn't mind a little bit of banter and negotiation. But upon inspection of the "FULL service history" something didn't look right. The "dealer" stamps looked very rudimentary and none of the telephone numbers on the stamps actually connected. The MOT history showed the vehicle tested repeatedly in the South West of England, yet the service history showed the vehicle as being serviced by "dealers" in the Midlands (and one nearly as far as Scotland). Having found the telephone number relating to the name of one of the "dealers" in the service book... they definitely were not a main dealer for the brand and had no recollection of the car passing through their system. It seems very odd that a 'single owner vehicle' would get its first service by a non main dealer garage and travel hundreds of miles to do so. I wouldn't stoop to saying something as bad as this - but some people might think that they had fabricated the logbook themselves.

In the repect to the the perticular car you are talking about we took this car in part exchange and not via our normally main dealer sourcing route so any work or history before it was taken in to our ownership can not be confirmed.
