Having read several bad reviews,all I can say is my own experience was totally hassle free.They had exactly what I was looking for,with an instant test drive,and while they informed me about the extended warranty available,at no time did they try and pressurise me to take this,in fact I initially declined,then changed my mind,and purchased one.I dealt with Mick,who after arranging the test drive,sorted out the road tax,and explained the warranty procedure.One thing I would say is,if you find a car that is right for you,its wise to leave a deposit on it,to take it off sale,as its a busy site,with no shortage of prospective buyers. .My own experience was totally hassle free,the car was just what I was looking for, is in first class condition,and is a pleasure to drive.Would definitely use Stockport Car Supermarket again.Totally satisfied.

Very aggressive sales tactics. I thought this sort of behaviour was normal for all used car salesman, but I have encountered a few nice used car salesman during my process of finding a new car. Would avoid Stockport Car Supermarket.

I've bough a small Peugeot from Stockport Car Supermarket 3 months ago and got a friendly commercial approach then noticed a problem with the passenger car seat which was broken. I did not notice this straight away. I use mainly the driver side. I had been told that if I had any problem I could get back to them any time (30 days guaranty). There has been a repair which is far from satisfactory (one part has been enabled to make the other works). Since I have expressed my disagreement and asked for this to be reviewed, I have had no feedback from them following my phone calls and special delivery mail mentioning the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Stockport Car Supermarket absolute timewasters!! Had us drive all the way from Huddersfield after speaking on the phone and arranging a viewing for 11am to then be rang at 10.30 when almost there that they have taken a deposit on the car from another potential buyer! Nobody mentioned anything about a deposit when we spoke on the phone as if they would have we would have done that ourselves! Very poorly run company!! Be aware that they will waste your time completely!

Stockport Car Supermarket lie about everything told me free rac for a year I had to pay suppose to get 6 months warranty when you ring they tell you not neither them.

Buyers beware, the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. I bought a BMW 5 series from Stockport Car Supermarket and within a few days I reported a problem with the alignment as the car was pulling to the left. They took the car for a whole day and said it was the tyre pressure, which they claimed to have fixed. After a few more weeks of the same problem I took it to Kwik Fit and they said it was the alignment. I contacted Mick who sold me the car, and he became very aggressive when I told him that it was the alignment and he should refund the cost. He claimed I had no proof, even though I brought the car back within a week. It's a basic expectation that a car drives straight. I read online that the AA inspection doesn't mean anything, and now I've experienced that it's true. If you take any problem to them all they will say is that it was AA inspected. They've got a real scam going with the warranty there. The only people that seem to have a good thing to say about this company are those that are lucky enough to get a car without problems.

Looking for my daughters first car. wasnt pushed spoke with scit and mick. there knowledge of fuel economy, insurance groups and servicing costs were second to non. now i jyst need my daughters permission to come back to the stockport car supermarket peel centre and choose the car i can afford to buy with confidence from a great team. shame theres not 6 stars see you soon guys

I looked at a VW Passat on a Saturday afternoon. It needed some work so a left a £200 deposit and they said they would get in touch with me the following week. On the Monday, I had the devastating news that I was going to lose my job. As I had worked in the place for less than 2 years I was not entitled to redundancy and I am going to struggle to get further work as I am now in my late 50's. I called and spoke to Scott on the Monday. I was very distressed and asked if, due to my job loss, the deposit could be refunded-there was no way I could afford a new car if faced with job loss. He said he would get back to me. Well he didn't and I havent been able to get hold of him. I even asked if they could refund half, as I really need the cash. Unkind people-avoid.

I viewed the car on a Sunday and i told the guy there i,ll be back next Sunday to collect , but could he fix the loose plastic guard near the front wheel - oh yea , no problem - the guys in Wednesday so i,ll get it done . Collected it on the day , the 2 key-fobs supplied were not working ( they told me the car wasnt advertised as central-locking ) - and 1 had masking tape on ! Anyway , on the motorway home i heard the plastic guard hitting the tyre - and it snapped off - so not happy with this service - wont use again . Car seems good , but the service here is bad ....

I bought a Vito van from Peel Cars a couple of months ago. Bob and Abdo were really friendly, the van was well turned-out and they got me a towbar fitted before I went back to collect the van. I'll definitely call them again.
