My car has been to this Dealership on 4 for occasions for Servicing and various other things and it came with a courtesy carwash and vac. And each time I pick it up " Guess what" Yep It Hasn't. Just picked it up again after having a "Stop Start" resolved. They assured me it was working as it should. I'm sorry but it didn't work on my way back home Plus, it didn't get washed.
Went to Stoneacre 12 July 22 to discuss potential purchase of a new Ford or maybe a Mazda. I was astonished that the sales person, Malcolm, would only appraise my car for valuation as a part exchange if I agreed to conclude a deal immediately. He said that he could pick & chose his customers/deals as new cars are currently in such short supply As I didn't want to entertain this pressure I left. Perhaps I should have expected this cavalier attitude because, as a disabled drive, I'd noticed upon arrival that they had used cars for sale parked in the "disabled parking spaces" so no consideration here.
Bought a franchise approved used car from them, very low air pressure in tyres and low oil level also, neither I would expect from a main dealer! Few minor mechanical and electrical issues I fixed myself on the 2nd day of ownership, rear passenger window not auto winding, bit of contact cleaner in the switch and a grease and rebuild of the wing mirror sorted those out something simple I thought a garage would do prior to selling. And then came the offer on my trade in failing to give the information I found out later about enhanced payments, all balanced out with a warranty that they failed to say was only valid with servicing by them only so pegging you into spending yet more with them followed by non stop calls from their centralised service team about this. All in all not a great experience after purchasing and the fact no one calls back when you want but almost harrass you daily for things you don't want at the time make what seemed a good experience quite the opposite. All could have been resolved with some sensible after sales care but they don't seem to care once they have you in a car, all to common in the motor industry but not how I thought a main would dealer would act.

Hi, We dealt with Darren Hurt and he was brilliant. Very accommodating and thorough. Easy to understand and down to earth. No pushy in anyway and we always felt relaxed. Would recommend using Darren to others. We got a good deal on our existing car which Darren pushed for. Very happy. Would come back again in the future.
We went in to take our Mazda MX5 in for service at the Harrogate branch as it was due. Once there we looked at a few cars we liked but never thought we would go home with a new one. We had already been thinking of trading our cars in as we had decided it was time to go down to one car due to retirement. We saw the Mazda CX3 sport on an 18 plate and Tom Crabb came out to assist us. He was very helpful and could not do more in helping us make our decision to change.. We had a test drive on the car we liked and did not think for one minute we would come away with a new car. He promised to do his best on a good deal and came up trumps. He made the whole process an enjoyable one and would not hesitate to use this young man again if we need a car in the future.
Bought a Peugeot 3008 on a 15 plate it was only 3 years old at time. As soon as we got a couple of miles down the road the car reported faults on the dash we immediately contacted stoneacre who by the way Ian was the sales person we purchased a few warranties 1 being the paint work low and behold someone scraped the car around 6 inch long we contacted stoneacre then the warranty company who said phhh whooo mmmm too long it's not covered no we have confirmation that the electrics are messed up so we will see what they say about this. Hopefully will be able to update this review and let you know what this part of warranty excuses are warranted pardon the pun.

I have a Mazda 3 Sport Nav 68 plate.. Back in March had a new set of alloys fitted under warranty. In April had to return to dealership as the whole car juddered at 68 mph. Car returned to me "OK now sir" .In May had to return the car again as the judder was still there. Once again returned to me " OK now sir"." Now on the15th June with the judder still apparent, took the car to a specialist who found that although the front wheels had been balanced the rears hadn't been bothered with. Once this was remedied the car runs like a dream. I have confronted the Stoneacre service manager who, after a phone call to the specialist, admitted that they have fallen short of what should be expected from a franchised dealership If this company spent more time doing the job they are paid for rather than ticking boxes and unnecessarily filming work in progress, the customer might get what they pay for.

1 months warranty!!!!!! Other garages give 6/12 months. Poor customer service, zero would shop about this been the last stop!!!!!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY! I travelled over 160 miles to the Harrogate branch to view a BMW X5 - reg VN16 USX - THIS CAR HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY DAMAGED REPAIRED AND REPAIRED POORLY. I don’t normally leave bad reviews or slag companies off but for this company i had no choice to name and shame them! I spoke to the sales rep called Johnny asked him all the usual questions like the condition of exterior of vehicle and if it’s been sprayed or damaged previously.. i was told by him the car is in immaculate condition inside out. I made it clear to him with we are travelling 160 miles away and don’t want a wasteful journey and i am in motor trade myself so just be honest regarding any issues. I was reassured the vehicle is in immaculate condition. So yesterday i spoke to him in the morning again arranged a time for the afternoon. He rang back about 30 minutes later and said the car has a suspension airbag fault, so it’s gone back to workshop to get sorted and let’s re arrange for tomorrow. Has they are fitting BRAND NEW suspension airbags - ordered from BMW direct. I said fair enough. So today i called in the morning and he said the car is all ready! I told him i will be there in the afternoon. Me and my mate got there in late afternoon, when we started looking around the car, we started to notice the scratches all over bonnet, inside of the bonnet had grey tape covering holes made by a drill, rear tailgate had scratches and badly painted by a touch up paint, around the bmw badge on the bonnet had been badly painted by a touch up paint, the front and rear bumpers have painted previously, driver side wing been painted badly, both side M badges on the wings taken off badly - damaging the paint work underneath, rear windscreen been replaced badly - silicone/ glue residue uneven, front windscreen scratched everywhere, dents on the front passenger door, front slam panel bolts loose and the best bit.. they only replaced ONE side suspension airbag with a second hand airbag. Your suppose to replace both sides - any good mechanic will tell you that! The vehicle also has a serious recall outstanding - EGR coolant leak which can cause fire! This wasn’t done either. The last two services were missing and he advised they serviced and mot’d the car prior to sale, when asked what was done on service - he was a clueless! When i asked him about all the scratches, car been painted, damaged repaired, suspension airbags not been changed as a pair, service history missing.. he smiled and this car isn’t for you and walked off! I am really annoyed and upset that company this big employees people who don’t care, lie, are sales driven, have no guilty conscience. I think they just prey and hope people with no knowledge or experience turn up and jackpot.. easy target and vehicle sold! I have wasted a full day today. Wasted over £100 in expenses BUT i rather waste £100 then buy a bent vehicle for £23,000. FRAUDSTERS! See their Facebook page for review with pictures.
