Quick to give you lots of attention to sell you a car but absolutely disgusting customer service as soon as they have your money! Do not use them! Even when you try to complain and ask to speak to a manager they ignore you. Clearly the manager doesn't care about customers one bit! Will never use them again and will ensure none of my family or friends do either.

13 grand payment not refunded more than 7 days past now Dont have hold of services they offer i am waiting for a refund for 7 days plus now for 13 grand and they cannot get hold off as the payment they take is not controlled by mercedes benz as just confirmed by Priya at Ayr - i have no satusfactory answer whatso ever as to when exactly my payment will be recieved. Never going there again forgot sake refund my money.
Recently I bought Mercedes c class plug in hybrid from Mercedes Benz of Ayr. I am very pleased and satisfied with their service especially of their sales executives, Maria Javid. She made the whole business easy and quick. Cheers!

Collected our new car on Saturday. Only really dealt with Chloe and she was so nice through everything. Got the option of paying before collection or viewing first then paying. Car looks in great condition & not had it long but no issues with it so far. Would def use them again.

Shocking, shocking, shocking. Do not buy from this dealership. Part of the Pendragon & Stratstone group. Firstly, bought my 16,000 mile car and was informed I must pay before I can collect the car. Said I would pay the balance on collection, due to me not because of distance being able to view the car, Was told this was not possible. I had to pay the balance over the phone. On collection I noticed the car had 22,000 miles and not 16,000 as advertised. This is not a slight discrepancy. This is a difference of 50%. I was not offered to check the car over. Anyways, got to the car. The NS of the car was parked hard up against the Showroom so was unable to have a good "walk around". I was in a hurry as the day was getting late and had a near 300 mile drive home. On inspection the next day is was noticed that the NSR quarter of the car had been very badly repaired with paint flaking off, Poor OSR quarter repair, Tailgate Trim falling off, Exhaust Trim falling off, Centre Console Leather ripped, missing Warning Triange, OSR Wheel buckled (this wheel later corroded at an increased rate, was obviously damaged along with the NSR quarter and poorly repaired), no Book Pack, no Service History record, was told that because of distance my Train Ticket would be refunded (this did not happen), no MOT paperwork. This should have been enough to warn me off and had I not sold my other car privately to finance this car then I would have likely returned it for a refund. The car returned to the dealership after a fashion for a very poorly executed repair. One poorly executed Smart Repair covered up by another poor Smart repair. Very obviously done by a smart repairer which resulted in paint and filler falling out of the NSR Bumper end. I informed the dealership of this and no response or reply. It has been noted by a professional that there is barely a panel on the car that has not has a very poorly executed paint repair. To add insult to injury, the car has been into my local Mercedes-Benz dealership 6 times in 2 years for faults. In my opinion this dealership are not worthy of holding the Mercedes-Benz franchise nor should my car ever have been sold as a Mercedes-Benz Approved Used Car.

After contacting the dealership to arrange a test drive in the new E-Class and explaining that I was looking to order a car for March delivery, the test drive was arranged for Tuesday. Late Monday night they contacted me to say the car wouldn't be there and I would have to re-arrange. When I attended the re-arranged appointment, I was left sanding for 15 minutes, when the sales person finally showed me the test drive car - it was the previous model E class! Complete waste of my time. Went to Harry Fairbairn BMW in Irvine and ordered the new 5 Series!
I purchase a smart car for my wife which was advertised on smart approved from Mercedes Ayr after leaving a deposit I was contacted the next day asking if I would pay in full although I wasn’t collect The car until the week after as I was travelling from Bristol I did voice my concerns as I haven’t seen the car and being in the motor trade for 37 years went against my better judgment but being reassured it was in perfect condition and seeing I was buying a smart approved and from a main agent I agreed to pay after flying to Glasgow then catching a train I was picked up from there local train stain by the dealership ,the car was in the showroom covered by a sheet as soon as the car was revealed I started looking around the car and immediately noticed the rear drivers side wheel had curb damage but far worse was the side wall of the tyre was split but had been glued back together and tyre painted over as to cover it up I immediately pulled at the split that was so deep it exposed the cord this ment the tyre was in a very dangerous condition I had a 400 mile and a 7 hour drive back home and it could have catastrophic if this tyre would have blown out on the motorway I expressed my concerns as if my wife would have collected it she would not have noticed they took the car off and changed the tyre when the car come back it was left outside I started looking around the car and noticed a scratched door the bonnet had been touched in with a touch in stick ( wrong shade of white ) a nasty scratch around the glove box area and another wheel had been curbed 2 in total the salesperson went and got the sales manager who immediately come out with an aggressive attitude who could not care less I had no option on taking the car as I was so far away from home I would have certainly left it there if I wasn’t and had my money back they refunded me £150 but having noticed more damage I asked for another £200 to get the car into a standard my wife would be happy with they refused to refund anymore after getting home the next day I contacted stratstone customer services I also contacted my local smart Mercedes dealership who advertised me to contact Mercedes customer services as well customer services at Stratstone didn’t want to no didn’t even offer an apology and said they wouldn’t respond to me again and Mercedes customer services said they would get back to me but didn’t so when I contacted them they said the response from the dealership was that the tyre wasn’t that badly damaged and was replaced immediately no concern or apology given whatsoever I have been in the motor trade for 37 years and never experienced such appalling behaviour this car was supposed to have gone through a 130 point check this tyre was illegal and wouldn’t have been able to leave a mot station until I noticed it they were happy on me taking the car and driving 400 miles shame on them would I buy from stratstone again never would I buy another Mercedes product again probably not thankfully I took pictures of this tyre and I have contacted vosa and sent them the pictures as stratstone and Mercedes don’t care less

Beware of Stratstone Mercedes in Ayr. Avoid at any cost. I bought a car from this dealer and expected the reliable Mercedes service. Sadly i had 2 very bad after sales experiences. First issue took 2 months and second issue is taking weeks and still not resolved. Complete misery and grief. Im now in touch with the motoring ombudsmen. Absolutely nightmare. I would never ever like to come here again or any other Mercedes dealers. I actually feel like selling my Mercedes and buying a BMW or Audi. I feel horrible driving about with a Mercedes badge. Utter disgrace. Extremely bad customer service. I never waste time giving reviews but this review is a favour for other customers. Save yourself your cash.
