I got a car from this brunch for my wife's birthday, and while the service received from Stephen who was the point of contact for the purchase of the vehicle was smooth and helpful, the after care and conversation I had with the head of sale manager was dreadful to say the list. The car had start and stop function battery fault prior to purchasing it, which I was told it would be done before it was delivered. Being a customer with BMW for many years I didn't doubt this. Once delivered, the start stop functions was not working and tyre wire was showing on one of the tyre after I took it to my usual local BMW Bowker BMW for heath check. They confirmed battery was faulty which needed changing, and tyre also needed to be changed. I sent this report to Leeds and had more of accusation from the head of sales who was extremely rude, lacked insight of the issues, and blamed the fault and inconvenience on us for now coming to them first. This manager even went on to say, other dealership ( the like of BMW franchise) may advise unnecessary work to get money. This was shocking to hear from another BMW dealership especially when they share the same work values and protocols. I have known by BMW Bowkers for many years and it was saddening to hear this comment about them. Eventually Leeds BMW agreed to pay for the battery and tyre after three days of no car. The cars start stop also now works properly after work carried out at BMW BOWKERS. Overall, the head of sale manager, really need to reflect on his manners and the language he used during our conversation. Definitely not what expected from a person at this senior level! Words like ' you are throwing my offers in my face' , and ' there is no way a car would be released with that condition', you can't return car because it's foggy ' etc... Really bad attitude. What he should have done was trust the report completed from the other BMW dealership and discuss this with them directly and then find out what happened internally. Even Bowker BMW were shocked. This sales manager initially didn't even want to call the other BMW to discuss the issues advising it's not his area of expertise, and I had to do all the back and forth communication until at the end when he spoke to them directly. I would definitely would not recommend this franchise.

Had my 1yr old A Class in recently, 2nd service and a long list of faults. Collected car, they refused to rectify faults that were clearly under warranty. Had more faults than when I took it to them - 2 front air bag faults (safety issue). Had to call Mercedes who sent out breakdown service. Who sorted air bag issues, but I’m still left with issues that are clearly under warranty. WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS DEALER, steer clear of them. All they are interested in is selling other work services, no interest at all in rectifying faults. Looking to move to another brand next time Truly terrible experience.
Bought a car off Stratstone BMW in Leeds around a month ago and it has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. The car was sold to me with pre existing faults one of which was vibrating when driving above 60mph and also a usb socket that works intermittently. I took the car back to them for them to look into this, they advised me they would need the car til 5 so I had to spend my day off in Leeds centre, granted worse places to be but not ideal when you only get one day off per week. When I arrived back at bmw I was advised the car would have to go to their prep centre to be looked at and was given a filthy courtesy car, surely they could have informed me of this earlier in the day. When I got into the courtesy car you could hardly see through the windscreen, there was a half empty bottle lodged under the passenger seat and sticky bits around the cup holders. The car was in with them for 2 weeks and only became available for collection 15 mins after I spoke directly to stratstone head office. When I collected the car I was advised by my service advisor Rachael that the paint on the wheels was causing the vibration and that it had warped the discs. When I inspected the vehicle it hadn’t had new discs and paint wouldn’t affect the was the car drive. I personally believe it has had either a dif or gearbox repair. I have taken the vehicle back and the USB is still the same, the phone charges but the car doesn’t register that a device has been plugged in. It also won’t allow me to play music through the car via Bluetooth but will allow me to make and answer calls. I can’t believe the poor level of customer service I had received from a main dealer especially BMW and to be lied to regarding what repairs the vehicle has had is just laughable.

Enquired after a used car for my wife, Nearly two weeks later still no response. Do yourself a favour, if they are bad at sales, the rest must be dreadful, I wondered where Forest Gump had gone, he is alive at well in customer relations Leeds BMW.

Stratstone BMW in Leeds is absolutely appalling - we argued for three months about the condition of an almost new car. They told us lies, misled us and ignored calls and emails. I would never ever recommend Stratstone Leeds to anyone! The car is back up for sale with less miles on the clock than we bought it with! May be an typo but this just highlights the incompetence of them.
My 3 series I bought from Stratstone Leeds BMW had a DPF Issue and after spending over a £1,000 to change the glow plugs with BMW they still could not rectify the issue. They advised i should have the filter replaced at a cost of £1,500 with them . I then had another now trusted garage look over the problem for me and it seems BMW did not replace the EGR valve when they put the engine back together this stopped the filter regenerating. The trusted garage advised me this was the issue and that i was lucky my engine and turbos didnt blow up due to the pressure and heat created due to the EGR valve not being attached. When reporting this to BMW they barely gave me an apology and insinuated i was lying !!! , no compensation or complimentary anything. Complete disgrace avoid taking your BMW to this garage at all costs over priced.

Overall I'm happy with my car from Stratstone Leeds and the service was alright. They did however attempt to persuade me to take their finance more than I would have liked and they did argue the point when I had issues with the car after the sale which they eventually sorted out.
