We cannot believe the lack of service from Jaguar Sales, Hadfield Road, Cardiff. Having paid a £500 deposit for a jaguar Costing nearly £50,000 all we have got to show for it is a till receipt. Just over a week later we have no other paperwork. No one returning our calls despite many attempts of calling them. The advert on line seems to differ from the advice we have been given verbally. We are very concerned and seriously considering pulling out of the purchase. A back alley second hand garage would have shown more care. We would not have considered posting this if we would have had the courtesy of a returned call. ALL WE WOULD HAVE EXPECTED IS A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Bought a used car from Stratstone Cardiff and it was such hard work. It was during lockdown but they were open and had quite a few staff. But phone calls weren’t answered, emails weren’t answered and the car had not been properly valeted when I picked it up. When I did pick it up there were quite a few people there but few were working. It was more like a school classroom when the teacher had stepped out. Put a deposit down for the car ... still trying to get it refunded now. So frustrating - avoid

I am leaving this review following my purchase of a new Range Rover. I cannot praise Stratstone Land Rover in Cardiff enough, the whole experience has been outstanding from the moment I walked through the front doors in September. Every time I entered the showroom I was greeted by friendly staff who responded professionally to my questions, offered me coffee and escorted me to the waiting area. Huw Southall, the Sales representative, was excellent and at no point during the negotiation process did I feel pressured. During the test drive and following discussions he was knowable explaining all aspects of both the car and the purchase options clearly. Following my order He sent regular updates on the development of the car via e-mail. On the day of the collection of my car the 'handover' staff were also excellent and very professional, Kirsty clearly new the vechile inside and out, and took time to go over the fully explain the controls and details of the car and answer any of my questions, she gave the impassion that my purchase was the most important one! even though I saw other vehicles being ready for their new owners. Overall I can only praise the staff at the dealership far superior to other dealerships I visited in Cardiff (VW, Mercedes). Many Thanks

Stratstone Land Rover in Cardiff seems to rest on its laurels of selling quality cars without making any effort to respect or encourage customers. When you visit a car showroom with a view to spending £40000 + you would expect some service. The receptionist was off hand, unconcerned, really didn’t want to bother with us. It was not possible to see any of the models we were interested in as all they were concerned with was cars going out on 1st Sept. No salesperson came anywhere near us although we could see some in offices with no customers, I’m sure they were very busy! We asked for brochures on the model we were interested in and were told they were only available on line. Not everyone lives with a phone in their hand and I’m sure I’m not the only person who would like a printed copy to refer to. My husband has purchased two top of the range Jaguars from this dealership but we are not made to feel valued customers. Are Jaguar selling so many cars that they don’t need to bother any more? I don’t think so!!!! If I do decide to buy a Jaguar it won’t be from Stratstone Cardiff.

Went to look for a new vehicle at Stratstone Land Rover Cardiff on Hadfield Road today 2nd September 2018 . Big mistake ! We were not welcomed at all , the receptionist did not even acknowledge us in any way at all . We looked at both Land Rover and Jaguar at this dealership and not once were we approached by a salesperson, it was not busy yet no one offered any help at all . After leaving the showroom we continued to browse the vehicles outside for quite some time , whilst leaving our vehicle in the designated customer parking area. We returned to our car and tried to leave but discovered that we had been locked into the car park by them using lockable posts , we had no means of exiting at all . What I find disturbing is that there were no notices warning of this at all . I have limited mobility and poor health and needed to get home , we also had my son with us who became quite upset too . We tried calling all sorts of business numbers after finding no one except a cleaner on site , but to no avail . We then had to call the police for help who again tried to contact someone from the company with no success . We tried asking the cleaner if she knew how to contact someone , she was Spanish with little English vocabulary, but eventually with the aid of a translation app she managed to contact her employer, who in turn contacted a Stratstone employee willing to come and let us out . Overall it took 2 hours to get out of the car park by which time our food shop had spoiled and we were all very stressed and tired . My rating is twofold ... firstly it concerns the apparent lack of interest in us as customers , & secondly , that we were unable to exit the car park for about 2 hours . I strongly suggest that staff take more notice of who /which cars , park in the customer area and then where those customers are before staff leave and lock up . It's quite a large area outside the showroom I know but in all honesty surely someone could have checked personally or via CCTV (surely they have that ? ) for people still looking around ? Or perhaps someone couldn't be bothered .... going by the service lack of customer service we experienced today. . ?? The gent that came to our rescue mentioned this want the first time it had happened . I have spent the evening trying to recover , not acceptable at all . We will certainly never frequent this garage again and an apology would be in order from whoever manages this dealership . Be warned , any prospective customers .... you might not be able to get out !
