After viewing a used approved BMW (pre valet - new arrival) several issues were identified as requiring attention. Stratstone agreed that these issue would be done not only because I had identified them but as a matter of course for a used approved car. A deposit was paid and paperwork signed stating all relevant works would be done. A week later a call was received from Stratstone saying the works had been completed and the car ready. Upon arrival I was shown the car in a viewing room... Nothing done from the original agreed list and an additional very poor smart repair to the front bumper, masking tape lines- over spray and surrounding lacquer damage and to add insult to injury biscuit crumbs in the centre console.. The sales man a little embarrassed called in a second individual and both agreed that this was unacceptable and would be rectified asap with paperwork ammended. The following week was agreed for collection, my old car privately sold and insurance changed over.. The day of collection came and I arrived at Stratstone expecting everything done and had even tempted fate with a trip straight from the showroom to family in Kent... Not so, nothing had been done to the car whatsoever, the masking tape and over spray still there and along with the biscuit crumbs... The salesman merely shrugging his shoulders saying no problem these models always sell like hotcakes.. Time and money lost, huge inconvenience to the entire family and no F@£ks given...
Darren E bought my car in April 23 tax the car for the full year in the dealership three months on, and I’ve not receive my logbook so I got in touch with the DVLA found out I wasn’t the registered keeper so I rang stratstone Doncaster Don’t worry, we will sort it that’s what I was told they sorted it I got a car tax refund DVLA told me the dealership registered the car in my name 20 minutes later they took me back off it. I’ve rang DVLA today. And The car is now still registered to Stratstone Doncaster i’ve been down today spoke to them face-to-face and to be honest got nowhere apart from don’t worry, we can sort it I’ve had to re-tax the car a second time i’m in the process of finding the area managers email address so I can let him/ her know. how poor Stratstone Doncaster is And how they treat their customers
Hi All just picked my new 530e yesterday. This is amazing car probably the best car I purchased ever. The dealership is excellent even when Arjuin who came in on his day off to do the handover. This experience was very special. Good to see BMW living up to their high standard. Thank you all at STRATSTONE BMW DONCASTER.
After purchasing two previous BMW’s from Sandal Huddersfield and Halliwell Jones (North Wales) I received excellent customer service that I’d come to expect from a BMW main dealer. Upon contacting Statstone Doncaster regarding an interest in one of its used (delivery mileage) cars I was told that all the sale people were busy and that they’d ring me back. 5 hours later they did eventually return my call but I was told the car had a holding deposit on it and that another customer was viewing it later that day. They said that they’d ring me back the next day to let me know either way. Needless to say that I didn’t receive a call and after sending a further email via the Auto Trader app to them I still haven’t had any contact a week later. The vehicle is still showing as available “for sale” on their own web site and also on the Auto Traders! Do these people want to sell any cars???

My son bought a 2017 67 Reg BMW 120i Msport in February 2021. We dealt with Tom Ruff throughout the purchase. Tom was helpful and kept both of us informed at every stage of the purchase he even sent each of us our own copy of the videos he had taken. I had the opportunity last week to view and drive this car. In conclusion the BMW was prepared to an excellent standard and drives beautifully.

Absolutely disgusted with the conduct of BMW's staff. Can't help but feel as a woman I have been taken advantage Off. Last week I went to see about handing in my car and was told, after everything had been checked with the finance, I could hand the car back. I then went and found the next car I wanted elsewhere as they did not have one. I went to return the car today, as agreed, only to be informed that I had been given false information by their staff and that in order to hand the car back I would need to pay Over £600 to end the contract on the car. All I got was a half hearted apology from the staff as there was apparently nothing they could do, despite the fact they were the ones who had given me the wrong information. Disgusted does not go half way towards describing how I am feeling as I have now been left out of pocket. BMW should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers, and clearly need to train the staff better.
