just now 1st time buyer of a Mercedes and it will definitely be the last time i buy from Mercedes Hamilton. Initially the salesman couldn't have been nicer......however, i received no paperwork for my car the day i said i would buy it. I had to email to get it sent to me so i could work out my loan figures etc. The day i picked my car up, i told the girl i was there to collect my new car but then sat for nearly 30 minutes with no one coming near me. I had to go up again and ask what was going on. They then said they thought my car was in for a service.....i'd never mentioned anything to do with a service!!. I was shown my new car controls.....for all of 5 minutes. I drove my car out, got to the end of the street and the tyre pressure warning light came on. I had pointed this out on my test drive and was assured it would be fixed! I drove straight back and sat for another 10/15 minutes. They said the warning came on because someone had just forgot to reset it. Stupidly i believed them! I then had to take the car back a week later as the panoramic roof creaked like an old lady and the radio reception was the worst i've ever experienced! The salesman gave me his car to use that day which was nice of him and they did seem to fix those faults. Although my radio reception is still pretty rubbish. Over the next two weeks i had to fill my rear offside tyre with air....the same tyre the warning light had come on for. I contacted the garage to advise there was obviously something wrong with it and i suspected they'd sold me a car with a slow puncture! My car had to go in yet again to have the tyre looked at....although this time i insisted it was a different garage as i had lost all faith in the Hamilton branch! Sure enough the tyre had a slow puncture and i received a text saying they wanted to charge me £253......REALLY!!!! On speaking to this garage i explained the situation and they advised the Hamilton branch had not explained this to them and had only asked for it to be booked in. They contacted the salesman i dealt with and eventually it was agreed i would not have to pay! I received a survey in from Mercedes and answered it honestly but then received an email from the salesman complaining it was a reflection on him!!! Yes it is a refection on him as HE sold me the car....HE is responsible for ensuring the car is roadworthy and has had any issues ironed out prior to me getting it. I don't appreciate receiving an email from him with a half hearted apology which was also complaining he had tried to fix things for me!! Clearly missing the point that HE should have made sure the team responsible for servicing the car etc had done their job correctly! OH and to top it all......they wanted to charge me £30 to put my private plates on my car!!!! Given how much i had just spent on a car.....i was disgusted! Even Arnold Clark don't charge for that. I'd rather pay a local shop to make the plates up and give my business to someone else!! My last car i got from BMW Douglas Park Mini in Glasgow and the experience was one of the best i have ever received....they also didn't charge for plates!!! Think my next car will be a BMW! Such a shame as i do like my new car.....but this experience definitely took the shine off😥

Travelled a long way to purchase an Approved Used C180, trusting I was buying a good car, from a main Mercedes dealership. However just a few months out and whilst under warranty it was found by another Mercedes dealership that it had thousands of pounds worth of work needing to be done on it. Stratstone Hamilton Mercedes refused to help, It took many sleepless nights and a number of letters to Stratstone UK and the head offices of Mercedes, advising them if I did not get a refund I would be taking legal action before finally someone at Stratstone UK stepped in and immediately arranged for collection of car and a refund. I was expecting it to end up in the auction, but no! Imagine how shocked I am now to see they are now trying to sell my car again, for £1000 more than I initially paid for it!

Our son got his first car from Stratstone Mercedes in Hamilton 6 months ago. We've had one very small issue since then which they dealt with promptly and efficiently. From the start through, we've had no problems with this company. They have been very courteous, informative and helpful. They've looked after my Son very well.
Warning to anyone going near this Stratstone dealership in Hamilton, DONT!! Just read the reviews, worst customer service and most unhelpful staff I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. DISGUSTED!!
Had problems with tyre wear from picking car up on March 10th took to June to be resolved, this was after weeks of pestering them no one took ownership. The tyres where wearing on outside edges the car had under 3000 miles , I was told this was normal for a merc C220d sport ???????? After doing some digging I found this out to be not true well not after 3000 miles , the car was then sent into Glasgow for wheel alignment which I was told if it was out I would have to pay luckily enough for me it was out .,.,.,........ I eventually got another 2 WORN tyres off another merc by this time I was totally dis heartend , to boot it all I was promised matts for my car as promised still to this day I'm waiting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Over all not a good experience from this statstone garage in Hamilton .
