So I wanted to buy a specific second hand vehicle to replace my 3rd brand new bmw in a row. Hull had one in stock. Arranged viewing for the next day. Car looked ok but wanting a decent finance deal and having already had some deals from other financial companies, all they needed to do was match their monthly payments and I’d have probably bought the car there and then. Unfortunately they wanted to play games. I was left sitting in the huge showroom with no-one about whilst my ‘salesman’ went to ‘chat’ with his manager. This manager then came down and was introduced to me. Went over the figures on their expensive tv systems but couldn’t get close to the figures I wanted, although I knew it could be done with a smaller deposit too. This ‘manager’ and the sales guy went back to their little office and left me sitting there for approx 15 mins. If they thought it was leaving me to decide to buy then they made a mistake. I don’t have the time to wait for this pathetic sales technique. The sales guy saying the senior sales guy could make a finance decision, then that senior guy saying he’d need to speak to someone else. Really? So a car salesman can’t make a decision about selling a car and the deal he could do, so they employ more sales ‘managers’ ? No wonder car sales are on a serious decline. I bet that showroom in Hull is costing them a fortune too. Anyway I got up and walked out as I couldn’t find a soul to talk to. Drove home and bought the other car I’d found online at Outrams garage in the north east U.K. saving £30 a month and £1000 cheaper deposit. Over the course of the next week the Hull salesman kept calling my phone. I ignored it. I don’t deal with people who waste my time thinking the old Pendle sales system will work. BMW need to revamp and re-evaluate how they sell used cars and save a fortune by getting rid of a layer of sales ‘managers’. I can only describe Hull Stratstone BMW with one word. Abysmal.

I have dealt with stratstone hull many times in the past and I can honestly say they have an excuse for everything, I have myself purchased 10 new vehicles from them all with some sort of a problem or an excuse, i changed from bmw 5 years ago because they couldn’t do a deal on another car I was looking to purchase , what they wanted for there car and what they offered me for mine was an absolute joke , as I have said 10 new cars which had cost me roughly £250, 000 and they let me walk away over a few hundred pounds saying we can’t budge on price , rubbish more like they didn’t want to lose any profit off there car and mine , I went to Mercedes’ and bought a new car which I had up until recently, I was looking around for an x6 and saw stratstone hull had one I went to look and test drive it and was ready to purchase it , the stumbling block was again greed , what they wanted for there car and what they wanted to give for mine , saying if we let it go for that we might as well give it away , again absolute RUBBISH, Bash the salesman knew me from the past and he was very nice but had his hands tied by the 2 so called bosses upstairs MATTHEW and RICKY , I originallyy wasn’t going to offer any more for there car but I didn’t to the tune of £2500 , more they still wouldn’t do a deal , so I walked out in disgust , I looked on line and found another x6M at Furness park car sales in barrow in Furness , I called them asked if car was available they said yes , the boss Glenn said all it would take was a £500 deposit to secure it which we did , he said he would send car out to us at no cost to look it over but we said we would like to come up there and make a day and night of it , to which he said we will put you up free of charge in a hotel wether you buy the car or not , and what a hotel it was , ABBEY HOUSE HOTEL we was gobsmacked we went to there showroom and saw the car and purchased it on the spot he gave me £1000 more for my car after seeing it as well , they made you feel special from the minute you walked in , the long and short of it is STRATSTONE HULL should learn from these smaller dealerships instead of trying to RIP you off thinking your just a cash cow , they had the audacity to call me at the hotel at 5-50 pm that same day to say do you still want to do the deal on there car , JOKE the car I purchased of Furness park had so much mor spec on it than stratstone it was a no brainer , and the customer service was paramount to them , if ever you want a car give them a go as we cannot fault Furness park , finally all I can say is STAY WELL CLEAR of STRATONE BMW HULL , I will never step foot in the place again .

From the moment I walked in the show room I never felt welcome the staff lied to me one several occasions about the car one being that they only off one finance company to which I knew that was a lie

Delighted with our new vehicle a Black BMW 2 Series M Sport Coupe 2021 plate x demonstrator 2002 miles on clock. The sales person, Will Houldridge, Stratstone BMW Hull, gave excellent service from enquiry to delivery of our new vehicle 😬. Thank you also to the sales manager, Stratstone BMW Hull, who was also excellent! A very happy customer. Loraine 😬

I bought a 435d convertible and when I picked it up they stated the spare key was at another branch and would be forwarded to me in 2 weeks. After chasing them for 3 months I still do not have the spare key. I have spoken to many of the staff including head of business. All stated they would help ... but they do nothing!

Just check their reviews. All of this will potentially happen to you. Like more than 50%, you gonna have a problem with your business. Paid deposit to secure car, very stressful because you have to chase them, they wont phone you. 5 days later, I’ve been told the car was sold to somebody else. I mean… REALLY! Dont buy from them. It will be just headache. You have to chase them for your deposit to be refunded as well.

As per other reviews, completely apathetic and not interested in any form of customer care or satisfaction. Luckily found out how bad they were before taking the car so have cancelled but they are being as difficult as possible and asking for monies which are not due. Have had to get BmW financial services and the financial ombudsman involved due to their completed lack of understanding of the financial products they’re selling. Having bought multiple cars from BMW dealers over the years, Stratstone Hull really take the award for the worst I’ve had the unfortunate luck to deal with.

Take your business to Halliwal Jones or Sytner. Shocking levels of Customer Service Horrendous experience in purchasing a vehicle for my father. Having put a £500 deposit last Wednesday, Jack said we come on Monday to collect the vehicle, he made it clear the price was the price & no negotiation was possible. As the spec was quite specific we drove 3 hours to get to Hull. Met by a no real enthusiasm we made way to the vehicle, upon first impression the vehicle seemed prepped to standards. I was only disappointed with the amount of fuel in the tank, Jack claimed he could only fill in £10, considering the value of the vehicle & knowing the distance which we had travelled from set the wheels in motion of the whole experience. As the paperwork was being processed I decided to take a closer inspection of the vehicle. Upon this a scratch on the front bumper, a dent on the back panel & cob webs under the deployable spoiler was found. Immediately I pointed out the defects to Jack who acknowledged that these bits had been missed in the prep. He assured me he will sort the issues out. In the meantime the payment process was underway & soon enough paperwork had been completed. The cobwebs had been cleaned & someone was working on the scratch, despite this the scratch was still visible & the dent hadn’t been touched. Jack called out his manager, I went through the two remaining issues with him & explained Jack had acknowledged that these had been missed in the prep, at first the manager commanded my checking of the vehicle, thereafter He went on to say ‘as the vehicle Is 2 1/2 years old you have to expect certain defects’ He proceeded by offering me a mere £100 off a alloy wheel cover package priced at a additional £499.00, leaving me questioning are they being difficult & awkward only with me? By this time my father was tired & the only other alternative was to travel to Brighton for a similar spec vehicle. As the deal was done we decided to take the vehicle with the dent & the scratch. Upon leaving Jack said he will refund £50 to cover the cost of repair. I doubt this will cover a inspection never mind a repair. I cannot come to terms with the service received upon spending a very large sum at this dealership. What did we do to receive such unbothered attitude & no care? I can only think of two things... 1. Finance is king 2. Skin Colour

If you have had your car worked on by Stratsone Hull chances are that you paid £100 ph for a semi-skilled agency worker with little to no formal BMW training. Just drive past and the large lettering in the Mini window begging for M.O.T tester and technicians is a clue to how desperate they are to get suckers to work for them. They are owned by Pendragon who ride rough-shod over civil, employment and safety laws with impunity. The bullying culture and insane targets (productivity and efficiency) they set makes it impossible for you to get a job done on your vehicle without serious compromises to quality. They subject all vehicles to a highly dubious vehicle health check which is just falling short of fraudulent mis-representation and contrary to govt M.O.T standards. A common staff room game when I worked there was name the resignations, 74 was the score in one year, not including the 7 nervous breakdowns by staff. Pendragon/Stratstone should not be allowed to trade. Pendragon Stratstone anyone want to challange this? Video evidence of Mini M.O.T being passed (off site ) and time stamped as passed at 3:15 pm with car stripped on ramp time stamped at 3:02pm. It gets worse but I think you get the idea. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.
