Bought a new Jaguar EPace from Stratstone Jaguar in Stockton in March 19 and had numerous problems with the DPF. Advised that problems were as a result of my unsuitable driving style for vehicle (required driving style/suitability was never queried by the dealership). Offered a replacement petrol vehicle at a substantial additional cost to myself which I declined. Numerous emails were then sent/requests for telephone call backs made etc. over a period of months to the dealership regarding this matter all of which were ignored. Notified the finance company that I was rejecting the vehicle on the grounds that the car had been mis-sold to me, they investigated the matter and upheld my claim agreeing to take the vehicle back and reimburse me of my outlays. Stratstone Jaguar Stockton for a supposed prestigious, well-established dealership you’re a disgrace, your customer services are non-existent. You repeatedly ignored me, no doubt a tactic to sicken me off and hope I would go away. Fortunately for me persistence has paid off !
I have been going to this Stratstone Stockton garage for almost 20 years. I have always been pleased by their attention to customer service. I was going to purchase yet another car from them recently but I found the customer service terrible, they just want your money and that’s it, gone is the attention to detail and the focus of making you feel important? they never return calls, never return emails just a shoddy and rude service, I will be going elsewhere now, I won’t even take my car there for its service now.

My wife and I went to look at used Jaguars here and, to our surprise, we recognised the salesman that we were directed to, as he had been in the same pub as we had been the day previously - watching the cricket. He had been clearly very intoxicated in the pub, and it was early the following day, so my wife suggested we came back another time, as we didn't feel safe with the prospect of him taking us out for a test drive. Rather than go away and come back, I politely asked if we could deal with someone else - and the salesman looked quite put out, and immediately questioned why we'd made the request. I decided that we didn't want to deal with a potentially still over-the-limit salesman, nor did we want to be questioned about our right to deal with someone else - so we left and we most certainly won't be returning.
Avoid Stratstone Jaguar in Stockton like the plague, Salesman didn't have a clue how to sell a car, tole me the car had 1 owner and full service history, turns out I am the 4th owner and it doesn't have full service history - I was advised the car was sold as seen, what a plonker as a car can not be sold like this. I paid a lot of money for an 8 year old car, I was informed it had gone through a 160 point inspection and I have found many faults with the car. Clunking noise when put into park, the auto boot does not work, drivers side window does not operate correctly, sun visor mirror fell out which exposed live metal terminals - and this went through a full inspection. mmmm Tried to call the terrible salesman called Darren on many occasions, then I tried to speak to the sales manager, vince, surprise surprise no one would return my call until I threatened to take the car back for a refund. I highlighted all my issues and the lack of service that Jaguar boasts about and to date no person from the branch has made an effort to see how I was getting on. I have sent the Branch manager an email and surprise again no reply. The car is going back as I paid well over the odds for a car with as many owners and poor service history for a prestige vehicle. Trading standards are being informed of the deceit to gain a sale!! Please avoid.

Stratstone Jaguar in Stockton is the worst dealership experience I have ever had! - Purchased a car - wrong mileage (listed 3,200 but had 10,200), no drive away insurance on the day as promised - wrong number plate on car! Seems they are misselling gardX paint protection - not giving customers the warranty, just a bag of polish for £400. Don't return calls or e-mails. BEWARE!!!

I completely agree with this review, when I bought my XF, 3 years ago the service was exceptional. Visited the showroom in in March as interested in the Epace we are now in the middle of June and still waiting on quotes for the car. Took my car in for service and MOT in may 18 and the car fail it MOT, I was advice the the car need 3 new tires at a cost of £650, I decide to take car for a second option and the tires were fine and the car pass its MOT with no issues. Called in at the garage to speak to the manager and he was in a meeting. I left my contact details for him to ring me and agrange a meetinf and I am still wait on this call.
