Purchased a DB9 from Stratstone Aston Martin in Wilmslow. List of issues experienced were deeply concerning. After two weeks I had to take the car to AM Edinburgh due to misfire where they found 11 coil packs were defective although there was service records showing that they’d been changed recently. Very suspicious. Delivered with chip in windscreen & old wipers. Within first year, A/C condenser has failed along with CD player. Neither covered by Timeless warranty and Stratstone won’t honour. Buyer beware with these guys and be sure you know the full extent of Timeless warranty. Treat them with the care you’d use with a back street car dealer and don’t be fooled in to thinking they are any different. Complained to AM and got a standard letter back only. On the positive, Aston Martin Edinburgh are excellent.
Spent years finding my dream Aston, and finally found it at Aston Martin Wilmslow. Put down a deposit with the salesman, had 3 calls to arrange delivery and bought train tickets for myself and friend. Then it all went wrong. Didn't get replies to my E-Mail's, the salesman went AWOL, and the business manager didn't return my calls. Nearly a week later I escalated to Aston HQ, and finally got an E-Mail back from the dealership manager. I had to call him to be told they had sold my dream car to someone else the day after I had bought it! Rather than admit their guilt, they went silent. Disgusting behaviour from all, and I can clearly not recommend this dealership in any way, and to be honest I never want to go near the Aston Martin brand again, especially after the HQ who said they would investigate this matter have not got back to me weeks later! A premium brand with atrocious customer service :(

Wasted so much time and effort Just to buy the Blue R8 that they have for sale (since last 3 months), after a 2 hour drive to the showroom 3 times yet couldn't complete the deal due to lack of knowledge, inconsistency and blatant lies!! I was tricked and pushed over the phone to leave a deposit as apparently the car had too much interest on it but I didn't mind since I wanted to buy the car anyway. However, after a drive to the showroom, the car wasn't as described. Yes I know it's not a brand new car but your meant to tell your customers about the dents/cracks or any major scratches on the body before they come to view it (the r8 had poor paintwork at some places and a dent/crack on rear bumper, previously vinyl wrapped poorly). Manager 'Nick' is overly rude, arrogant and doesn't have a clue about what's going on around in the showroom. The car had 41,000 miles when I came to see it first time, paid for it the next day and 3 weeks after paying them fully for the car it had 45,000 miles, something to think about. I've had the worst experience ever buying a used car from this garage, clearly not expected from Stratstone - Aston Martin! If your buying a used car from here make sure you go check it out first. Do not believe what they tell you over the phone and make sure your not fooled by looking at brand new Aston martins that will probably be parked next to the used car that you are interested in. Make sure to collect your car as soon as possible and do not allow them to use your car whatsoever once you have paid for it. You'd probably receive top service as expected if your buying a brand new car from these guys but despite the fact that it is a prestigious company, the staff lacked knowledge and simple customer service. The information being given was inconsistent and put a shadow of ambiguity on the whole experience. Its not expected to be lied to blatantly when spending 60k plus. All the best!

I hoped your review was a one off, but I have just had a similar experience with horrendous (well non-existent) customer service and blatant lies. Only after I had escalated to Aston Martin directly did I get ANY response from the dealer. I have now raised on official complaint with Aston, and I will post details here once that complaint is dealt with.
