I bought 6 years ago a car from Stratton ,and just bought an other one. Customer service is outstanding.I've had enough time to look at the car and to test drive it. My car was written off in an accident. In looking for my next car I had selected several cars to view in a day to see which I liked. These were not all the same car, but were all local to me and met my criteria. I went to Stratton today with a view to test driving the car I liked only to be told they do not do test drives unless I'm going to buy the car. However, I was welcome to view the car and hear it running. I questioned why I could not test drive the car and was told it was because the car comes back dirty and needs a wash. The salesmen told me how they sell 400 cars a year and only want to get the right car for me and for me to be safe. I challenged him on the policy of no test driving unless I was going to come back and put a deposit on the car, but was advised to go and test drive all the other cars I wanted then come back to this one if I wanted to buy it, then I was allowed a test drive. I explained I had not got another car of this make/model to see today but he was not bothered. I appreciate that you will get some time wasters but I was a serious potential buyer. Simply due to this, I would not buy from this garage. Good luck if you do!

Bought a car off of Stratton Motor Company based on there review of the car,clueless mechanic claiming car in great condition yet breakdown 2 days later with many different faults, Stratton cars response join the AA ? Is this a company you want to give your money too? , I’d think very carefully before you do as if it breaks Down they will tell you it’s your problem to get it too them , good customer service ? Obviously not ,owner of garage very cocky and salesman preached about how they do things the right way yet sell a car with that many faults and they call it well looked after , either the mechanic is simply stupid or they simply wasn’t interested in put the things right that should have been done before someone bought it , various things missing from car , electrical faults and non starter 2 days later also on further inspection wrong sized tyres all round bill or £600 only having the car a week , also has signs of accident damage under neath yet they claim car was checked over Go to a different garage don’t give these cowboys your money once they have had your money they are not bothered.

I was looking for a reliable car, after a bad experience with my previous car. Found Stratton Car Company on auto trader. When we got there we where greeted by Simon. Great experience no pressure, no hard sale. I got a new mot, new service, two new tyres and new disks and pads on the front. Car was spotless inside and out. Very pleased. Thanks Simon and team.

Went to view a car at Stratton Car Company having made a prior appointment.Travelled almost 70 miles.Saw the car and requested for a test drive only to be told it was not possible as they were short staffed.What a waste of time and fuel.Why make appointments when you cannot give your attention to the customer??

My son bought a BMW from Stratton Car Company. We live two hundred miles away in South Wales, so we didn't want to have to visit twice. I asked for the car to be ready to go and it was. Its a fabulous car and it was clean and smart, Just like the pics. simon was very helpful and the deal was done with no fuss at all, We were on our way in no time at all.
