Bought my wife a 2017 fiat 500x from these cowboys. All started from the day we picked it up. Paid £9950 CASH, no trade in, just a bank transfer of £9950. Fuel light comes on half way home, 1 week later, car won't start, dead battery. They order a new battery for the car, 1 week for it to arrive!! New battery fitted (eventually), issue fixed. Few weeks later nice warm weather arrives, air con blowing warm air. Week later car is taken in and (allegedly) tested and gas refilled. Air con working great, for 1 day!! Another week later, car back in to get 'fixed', told they have now found a leaking pipe!! Over 2 weeks now, and still waiting for said pipe. I've never in all my car purchasing days over 30 years of driving experienced such terrible service, and I've bought cars from Arnold Clark!!

AVOID AT ALL COST PLEASE!! Peugeot is the worst dealership in UK. Where do I even start if it was my way they would get 5 red stars and I would SHUT THEM DOWN. I bought a brand new Peugeot 2008 2021 Allure Pack. And only after 1 year and 10 months the ENGINE is gone. It’s a known fault there is a timing belt inside the engine epic fail. That has caused the engine to break. So I was told the cost would be £10,000 and the warranty would not cover this and the mileage was only 42000. Car warranty is for 3 years or 65000, but the dealership at Dundee Strauns Peugeot said I would have to pay as it’s my fault. The guy that works there said we have 12 cars with the same k own issue fail of the timing belt. I said why are you making me pay for your default engine. He also said the belt breaks at 35000 miles . Now it’s been 3 months of nightmare and I’m left to fix this piece of crap. Also I’m taking legal action against the dealership to get this matter sorted out. Please please don’t buy there default puretech engines they are the worst engines in the world.

Good service busy garage

The Peugeot Service is a Joke, booked the car in for a cracking noise on the steering wheel first time they said the ball joint needed to be replaced .. £297 .. got the the car back and problem still there .. so booked in again a mechanic test drive the car with me and agreed the problem was still there. I also asked to do the MOT as well this time, when i went to pick up the car they told me the problem was solved and MOT passed with some advisories -front tyres need to be replaced - (front tyres have been replaced 2 weeks a go .. "they made a mistake they said", got the car back and problem still there called the garage again and went for a test drive again .. agreed the problem was still there and it was minimal and i should not worries about it and because they don't know what it is more work need to be done to the car and i have to pay again for it . so they make the mistake and i have to pay ? is that fair ? i would definitely not recommend Struans Peugeot Dundee and never come back. a truly nightmare experience and lots of time wasted. now i need to get the motor trade association and citizen adviser. very upset ..!!

I have read many positive reviews about strauns Peugeot in Dundee which influenced me to call and enquire about a car. I called regarding a 2015 used main dealer Peugeot on the 21st August 2016. I spoke with the salesman who assured me the car was "mint" and "like new". Now I am a realist and I do appreciate that a used car even if it's 18 months old is still a used car, but I was happy with the description and agreed to purchase the car. I was asked for a £200 deposit, but stated I would like to speak to my partner. I called back 10 minutes later to say I would indeed be taking the car. However I stated I would like to drive up and see it, (I headed straight there 80 miles each way). The car was disgraceful, a dent on the Bonnet, kerbed wheels, poor repair on rear passenger drivers door and poor paint work on the rear quarter panel (including an absence of paint on the arch lip). I mentioned to the salesman my disappointment to be told "we get them from Peugeot UK they'll be well looked after". I decided against the car obviously, but it doesn't temper my anger at being lied to and having my time wasted. Please ask full questions from this garage of you plan buying. And you should avoid the disappointment I endured, not to mention wasting of my valuable time and fuel.
