They're cheating. When I buy a car ,they give me 3 months warranty, if any faulty, I can return. My car is faulty, oil licking, Making different noise but they don't take back, they said you already drive, we can't. OMG. I REALLY upset

Very happy with our new Bmw, when we come to collect all was ready for test drive !, also they did offer drive away insurance for us so we can take car home instantly ! .. i will recommend Summer hill motors to anyone like good clean cars !
My Misses purchased a used BMW from James at Summerhill Motors in Bristol a couple of weeks ago. We saw the car which had some damage to the front passengers side wheel arch and bumper. James informed us that he would get it fixed, so why not had a drive in it. So, we had a drive. On return James informed us that he would get the repair done and put the cover over the electrics behind the rear view mirror which was in the office. He informed us we had a 3 month warranty and 1 year AA cover for recovery only. James delivered the car on a Sunday afternoon. The cover for the electrics behind the rear view mirror was still missing which he stated was still in his office and he will send it to us in the post. Also, he will send us an invoice. I emailed James a week ago regarding these items and he has ignored my email. Considering James seemed like an honest and fair person when we viewed the car, we trusted him to keep to his word. He hasn’t to date wish has spoilt the whole purchase of a car from his company Summerhill Motors Bristol. We still haven’t received the invoice for the car, the electric wiring cover, confirmation in writing of the 3 month warranty or the AA cover. We did have two leaflets with the paperwork he gave us along with past MOT reports. As the question to yourself, is he an honest business owner who is trustworthy. We say NO!

We still haven't received the plastic cover for behind the rear view mirror which, James informed me that his colleague Damien would send in the post. Damien also informed me he would send it before Christmas because James was on holiday following a hernia operation and wouldn't be back until the New Year. The story sound very familiar to another bunch of excuses for not being honest and being a man of his word, as he vowed he was. I did mention I would possibly contact the AA because the free AA cover isn't actually free and possibly contact trading standards because of the 3 month warranty which, we haven't received any documentation for or any explanation as what we do in the event of a problem with the car arising. Fortunately for us, the car is going well and no issues so far. It is just beggars belief that a trader that quotes on their website can get away with the kind of treatment he is happy to hand out to customers, can continue to get away with. Again, as quoted before: these 2 things spoilt a very good car purchasing experience. Such a shame.

Good afternoon, We recently had the 1 series BMW purchased from Summerhill Motors Bristol late last year which, Jamie promised to send me the plastic cover for the in car review mirror (Still not received) put through a Major service. We were then shocked to be told that a securing pin on the rear lefthand side brake caliper was missing and the rear view mirror had been attached to the windscreen with sticky tape which, when it got warm, fell off. It's it strange looking at their awful reviews that Jamie still doesn't seem to care about his customers. I think that Jamie just feels that once he has a customers money, job done! They'll just go away and whinge, and I could give a stuff. The only issue with that kind of attitude is that people have long memories and social media allows the whingers to return time after time just to inform other potential buyers of the dangers of dealing with this company and to hopefully, crack the callous attitude of the so called "Car Dealer" The saying "It does what is says it does on the tin" in Summerhills Motors it definitely, doesn't. Steer clear or fall into the Devils hands at your own peril.
Do not use summer hill garage I got a outlander with so called warranty on engine and gear box after driving it home realised clutch was slipping rear entertainment system did not work it was intermittent and some dodgy electrical issues, I email them an they have completely ignored me an had no reply what so ever. NOT HAPPY

Car advertised for sale at £10995 agreed sale at £10500 and left a deposit as agreed and said will withdraw from Sale 1 day before collection price increase to £11995 then have rubbish excuses saying sales person got it wrong etc and stopped all communication

Bought a 2006 Toyota Prado from these guys a few months ago and the front right brake calliper seized before I had even got it home. Had it replaced at great expense and when I called to chat to them about it was told "I'm in Dubai on holiday, will get hold you when I'm back." Maybe he's still in Dubai as I have never heard from the man again.

stil dealing with drama fro a bar I had to wrote off from them their is no justice that these people are not in jail and still selling cars that can kill you
Do not buy from this garage. I purchased a Kia would and was misled into thinking it passed the MOT with no advisories (I realise I should of double checked this, but being naive and trusting I didn’t) within a few weeks all my back breaks went, had to get rescued from the motorway with my small children in the car with me. Finally managed to get the owner to pay for this to be fixed. Now my clutch has gone. I’ve had this car for 2 months! I don’t know how they can sell cars like this to people and keep a clear conscience. AWFUL
