Car Dealer Reviews is an
official partner of Auto Trader
We bought an Audi e-tron from Superbia-automotive after seeing a “Good price” advert in Auto-trader web site. We had already decided on a particular make and model of car, so had to gone to the garage to look at this one only. The buying experience. Although Superbia is a small company, we found that we were given plenty of time to test drive the car and look around at our leisure. This set them apart from one other garage we had visited where they didn’t care and all the options automatically added £1700 to the ticket price leaving us a bit bemused. In this case, the sales person was helpful and attentive and clearly read us well on what was important and how to treat us and concentrated on the single car we were interest in. The deal was based on a part exchange and was done in a way so that we felt we had bought the car at a good price with the various incentives that worked for us. They clearly knew the rules around good practice of trading standards and listed the possible options without the hard sell and listening to what we actually wanted. Although these details are minor compared the cost of the car, but it amazing how a couple of hundred pounds can leave you feeling good about a purchase when spending this much. Preparing the car for us. The company took a week to prepare the car and this included a 100+ inspection check. In fact, because the car was a PHEV they upgraded this, without asking, to a full Audi dealer inspection because of the high voltage electrics and paid for a cooling fluid change as the car required this. I was also impressed that they also took the time to charge up the battery on the morning we collected the PHEV so we had a full battery and 2/3 tank of petrol. I know that charging the car only costs 10p, but it is the smallest of details that are important. In Summary Our experience showed that for us Superbia knows how to treat customers and take money nicely. It is the small details that are important. It may be a small garage without the glitz of a Franchised dealer, but the bottom line is do you get a nice car at a good price while being treated with respect.

Massive thank you to all the guys at Superbia Automotive for finding me my new car. Always wanted a bigger car and now I finally have one. It was a real team effort. Between them they searched for the exact car I wanted, found it and got it within my budget. AMAZING! I love it.

Engine management light came on when driving car home on the M25. It was an EGR valve fault. This probably would not show unless they has road tested it on the Motorway, so I accept it is unexpected and bad luck. I should Automotive have test drove it on fast road as well.. Superbia fitted a new EGR valve (I can see its new) without any argument. Its a really good diesel Toyota Yaris Mk2 that does not show its 100k miles. Now 5 weeks and 1500 miles later with no problems and actual 65.5mpg! I did not pay a bargain-basement price but the car is is better than average condition.

I’ve seen a few poor reviews but I have to say that I had a really good experience when buying my Mercedes a couple of weeks ago. I found the 2 guys I dealt with really approachable and friendly. I change my car every two years and there are companies I would not use again but not in this case. I travelled 100miles or so and it was well worth it.

Superbia Automotive mis-advertised a car, took a significant deposit from us saying they would rectify issues and then failed to rectify the issues we had asked for as a condition of sale in the agreed time frame including the mis advertised element. We subsequently decided we did not want to do business with these people as couldn't wait any longer. They point blank refused to refund us the significant deposit we paid effectively stealing our money. They will tell you anything to get a sale based off my experience.

Andrew Herbert from Superbia Automotive Ltd in response to Mis advertised a car and took our money
I am sorry this is how you feel. Please may I explain this story from our side as books always have two sides. As a business we took your Deposit (£500) to secure the car subject to viewing. When you come to see the vehicle you said that if we fixed the navigation (which was not advertised nor in honesty was anyone aware that the CD drive was even fitted until you was with us and we all discovered this together to everyone's surprise). Also to get a service stamp put in the book as this was missing. A few days later before the vehicle was ready to collect you decided that you no longer wanted to continue with the purchase to which we made clear that you would lose your deposit due to the work that you asked us to carry out as it had cost us money, however it would be transferable if you wanted to purchase another vehicle. I have since called and explained that as we had sold the car and felt that is was fair to refund a proportion of the deposit and hold on to the rest to cover the costs. To which you refused and told me that you didn't want to accept that. I do believe that your complaint is an unfair representation of our business.
Quick to take your money, very slow to resolve any issues. These people need to learn that delivery and expectations should match promises! Chucking a bucket of water over a car does not constitute a 'full valet', 'my word is my bond' does not make me feel warm and fuzzy and half a truth is still a lie!
