I purchased a car with SCS through Car Finance 247. Pleasant enough to start with, but if I had known what was to come I would have ran a mile. Picked car up in September but it needed an MOT so I took the car back within a week or purchase so this could be completed along with a list of faults I had found while I had the car for that short time. One of which was the car veering off to the left when driving - I was told that the car would naturally veer off due to the road having a slight dip of drainage purposes. Only this wasn't the case and it was infact the wheel bearing which should have been a FAIL in the MOT - it wasn't even mentioned on the MOT. Within 6 weeks, the car had an engine fault which needed to be recovered by the AA. I got the car recovered to my home address and on the Monday morning, I called the dealership if they could collect the car to take it in for repair to be told they couldn't recover it and that they would send 2 men down to collect the car and one could drive it back. I refused as I was told by the AA that this car could not be driven for more than a few miles - the dealership is some 30 odd miles from my home address. I suggested getting the car repaired at a local garage, which they agreed and they would pay me the invoice. Repairs came in at over £330 and they refused to pay and offered me a counteroffer of £92 which of course I refused, The car then needed a further £350 worth of work of a new wheel bearing and 2 new tyres due to them wearing so quickly through the wheel bearing fault. Bearing in mind, while this car was in for repair it was UNDER WARRANTY. I went back to Car Finance who agreed to pay me for the works carried out while under warranty and then claim back from SCS. They also suggested that as SCS offered the £92, we should allow them to pay that amount. Not once did I have the displeasure of speaking to the owner James on the phone, but I did speak to Billy, who at first was very pleasant, but once the phone calls from myself were more regular, he would raise his voice, talk over me and try and intimidate me. But that's salesmen for you. Talk the talk but can't walk the walk. Anyway - 8 weeks later, I am still waiting for the partial payment of £92 to be paid for the £700ish worth of work done on a car under warranty. They are clearly struggling with the business if they are holding onto that small amount of money. I can only speculate that the 5 star reviews that have popped up within the last month are family and friends of the dealership. I do not believe them to be genuine - a bit like the people running said dealership. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Staff polite when taking your money but quick to turn rude and dismissive when there is an issue. Fraudulent MOT and mileage definitely altered. This business should be shut down immediately. I was warned by friends buy regrettably went with the sale. Please don’t buy from these dangerous criminals

Do not go anywhere near this dealer he sold my Sister a car which was not road worthy a death trap. 😡 Avoid!!!
