Bought my dream truck from Swanson in August, within a month had warning lights come on have had new DPF exhaust, new nox sensor , new add blue injector……… still not working still warning lights on, they have had the vehicle 4 months out of the 15 I’ve owned it and still haven’t sorted the problem. Such a shame that these sort of people are allowed to operate . I hope Kama will put this right as I think they certainly aren’t going to ………,

You have said "shame these people are allowed to operate" and a week later they have closed down!! I have been waiting 6 weeks for a part and purely by chance I checked their website
Used car purchased. Over three months six intermittent faults (on recovery truck three times). This dealer will not accept the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Since buying this car from Swanson Motor Company Ford in Kingsteignton it has had six faults, been on recovery trucks three times and has not moved from our drive since November 2023. Swanson directors, who live in Derbyshire, refuse to accept our rejection of the car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. My 76 year old husband has been made very ill following our treatment by these two uncaring money grabbers and we still have to await a decision by The Motor Ombudsman. We have asked for investigations by Trading Standards and HMRC (£20000 had to be paid into Michael Quigg private account). There are numerous car dealers around, I recommend you purchase your car from someone who cares.

This was the first time I have purchased a car online from outside my area. I found exactly what I was looking for but was a little dubious because the car was in Devon and I was in Kent. Fortunately Mike and Victoria from Ford Swanson Motor Company were incredibly helpful and proactive with my enquiry, making me feel secure enough to make the purchase and arrange to have the car transported to me for a reasonable price. My new car arrived this morning in great condition with all of the necessary paperwork. I am very happy with the service received.

I've always found Swansons to be helpful and quick to respond from a flat battery needing a jump start when they sent an engineer to my home (at no charge). to carrying out a service in a timely fashion. always make you feel that you matter to their business. Not forgetting the free Recovery with your service makes it good value.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS!! I have reported them to DVSA, VOSA, Trading Standards, Ford, FSA - and this is just the start. They falsely informed me my car needed work to pass the Mot that it did not need. The staff are rude, ignorant and disrespectful. The technicians are incompetent and dishnonest. They do not reply to messages. They will ransack your vehicle and leave it parked in a hazardous location. But they will soon find themselves in court! If you deal with this company you will regret it!

I enquired about a vehicle and applied for finance. Great service. Told to reserve the car using the website. Which I did. Unfortunately had to cancel the reservation and contacted them immediately and requested refund. I was then over 5 days given various reasons why they couldn’t refund me immediately, from the managers need to press the green button to unreserve the vehicle to allow refund, To I’ll get the accountant to refund you. Then oh the company who administers the website needs to refund you. I am still waiting my refund. Unless you are 100% going ahead with a purchase , do not use this company or there website, otherwise your deposit will end up in the cosmos like mine.

Purchased a car which after 14 months developed an air bag fault. It was allegedly fixed but fault came back not once but twice. They were unable to fix the fault and I was made to feel a burden to them in the end. I still have the email from a so called customer service manager worded very unprofessionally. Paid over £150 in diagnostics which still didn’t resolve issue. All I wanted was to travel with my family in a safe car. £20,000 surely gives you that right, wrong! Swanson in the end we’re not interested in that what so ever and in the end tried to lose the paperwork with took over 7 days to find. Took the fault to a local independent who have fixed the problem and were also shocked at my experience. Would not recommend this company to anyone from my experiences and wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I have been through. Look elsewhere!!

I live over 250 miles from swansons but Bought my car from them, from start to finish wonderful team who all work together to keep me informed and up to date with my car! I had video calls and extra photos upon request and not once was i in doubt about buying from them....fantastic company
I wish to give 6 ⭐️ unfortunately not ,because I have very good service form Michael, Jason and nick it was very helpful and quick service t,that’s what we said a good customer service.well done.
