Swansway Honda Stockport have raised the bar and set the expectation of how dealerships everywhere should be! The service has been first class and I would like to thank Shaun especially because he was Fantastic! The Honda HR-V is the first SUV I have owned and so far so good, it runs well, drives smooth and has lots of fancy features which I keep discovering, I am still getting used to everything it has to offer but overall I have not a single complaint for Swansway Honda Stockport.

I was fortunate to be introduced to Shaun at Swansway where I outlined the grief that I had experienced at Carshop and Cazoo. I simply wanted an "old style" dealing where ,you look at my car,I test drive your car,. quick deliberation, settle up, then drive our new car home ! This is the first time I have used PCP finance, and using a main franchised dealer. Shaun at Honda Stockport was fantastic, he looked after me really well from start to finish, he explained everything in clear detail about the car and the finance agreement ensuring I was fully aware of what I was agreeing and buying. The car was described very well - it was in pristine condition and very well maintained. Its great to drive, really comfortable and nice and smooth. I'm really happy and have no reason to give these anything but 5/5! Thanks Shaun and team.

I took it in for mot and it took them 2 whole hours to do mot. I went at 2.30pm and left at 4.20pm which was already dark outside so i wouldn't of noticed it. Which then i had my one year old child with me as i am a mother with no childcare! They have caused damaged on my right side panel and changed both of the bolts thinking i would not noticed to cover there notorious tracks! Absolutely disgusting unprofessional and mentally draining!

Today i contacted the dealer to talk about a used car they have in stock, all was going ok ,and then we started to talk about the price,he said make an offer and i did,not a million miles away from the asking and the car sales man just hang up....how RUDE. not even wanting to discuss it any further. RUDE . what an attitude. Don't bother with them.... in my opinion.

I bought a second hand Seat Ibiza which was advertised as having Bluetooth and air conditioning. When I went to see the car it had no Bluetooth because the portable satnav was missing. I specified that Bluetooth was absolutely essential and I was assured that this would be rectified if I bought the car. When I picked the car up on probably the hottest day of the year I found that the air conditioning was faulty. I cannot imagine what sort orf pre-delivery inspection had been carried out to overlook such a major fault. I had to return the car and drive around in a courtesy car for 3 days before I finally got my car back with operatinal air conditioning. The satnav unit which was supplied has developed a fault after only 5 months and now only works intermittently. Swansway claim that they cannot do anything because the car is out of its 3 month warranty period. If the satnav was a new unit then they should be able to replace it as faulty. I would never buy another car from this dealership.

The salesman shouldn't be working there. He undervalued my car, wouldn't budge on a p/x price and wouldn't compromise on the sales list price either of the vehicle in mind. He was also very rude and very arrogant and clearly thought of his commission first rather than me. He tried to sell me an alternative but wasn't viable. I was considering paying with a credit card and insisted on a 3% handling fee, nowhere in the dealership on the day does it state this in writing. There is no way the cc company charges them 3%. If you pay by cc it gives the buyer extra protection. I walked away and won't ever be going there again under any circumstances. So BUYER BEWARE - you are likely to get a raw deal if you buy from Honda Stockport directly compared to a non Honda reputable dealer.
