I am not one for posting reviews, good or bad, but the experience I have had in buying a BMW M2 G87 has been both. This was my experience in dealing with three dealerships. One very good and two very poor. I am sure it may be the other way round on these dealerships for some customers, but this is just my experience. To start the bad, I am based in Leeds and spoke to a local BMW dealer (not Sandal who I have found to be excellent when I have used them) about a new car. They were nothing but a bunch of 1980’s double glazing salesman. I also spoke with a dealership in London, overall probably worse. It was becoming quite stressful, so I found the car I was looking at on the BMW new car stock locator and it was at BMW High Wycombe. I have never used this dealership before, it was located 200 miles from home and I have no loyalty to them, but I have bought nothing but BMWs from BMW dealers for the last 26 years and I can honestly say that they are the best I have ever dealt with and provided the best experience I have had. Sometimes we just deal with good people, with the right principles who are professional, honest and efficient. That is the sales team at High Wycombe. It is not just the one salesperson I dealt with as well, it was the four people I had contact with and all were exceptional. I really cannot praise them highly enough. I got lucky in dealing with the team in High Wycombe but if I was located in the home counties or London, and you want to know that you are being told the truth (the lies I got from the other dealers about cars, finance & deposits would sound made up in this day and age. I knew some things to be lies or at best factually incorrect) I think even if you are dealing with one BMW dealer, it would be worth speaking to High Wycombe to make the comparison just know they are being dealt with properly and have the right deal. From the moment I made the enquiry, High Wycombe delivered on all promises and never pressed me to make a decision. I do like deal, and it was refreshing for someone to say ‘this is it’ and not try to go backwards and forwards, but they were just honest and open. Frankly it was refreshing. The deal was done in short time on a Friday, finance sorted even quicker, and I collected the very next day. Salesperson Jovan Korica is not a salesman at all, to me he is a knowledgeable car enthusiast. The business manager Himes Naidu was just lovely, and the Sales Manager Nick Williams felt like he actually cared about what I wanted rather than trying to get his team to hit numbers, add in the lovely person on reception and I just cannot fault them all. Problems. However, when we have an issue that is when we find out how good a team really are. Unfortunately, the car I collected with 13 miles on seems to be a lemon. It’s got some mysterious electrical gremlins, such as door mirrors not opening at intermittent times, various personal settings resetting, random warning signs and one for ‘Speed Stabilisation’ that left me in the middle lane of the M1 stationary. I was truly scared for my life. Needless to say, I was a bit emotional when I spoke to High Wycombe from the experience because a Tesla had been barrelling up behind me at warp speed and I thought I was done for. I should not have worried as the team were very understanding, agreed to take the car back under the 14-day rule and as my wife has been backwards and forwards to hospital this week, I have had to use the M2 just locally more than I would like. The team in High Wycombe tried in vain to source me another Toronto Red M2, but to no avail so I have ordered a new one to be factory built. I am so super happy with the consideration, understanding and the hard work they have put in to resolve the issue. I just cannot say thank you enough. They have honoured my original deal, even though it was very good and they did not have to. I also know I can buy with confidence in the team there safe in the knowledge that if I have issues, they will sort it out for me and I trust them to their word. They even took ownership of the issue and dealt with it on their own and not have not just followed what BMW said to them. I think it is deserved to add my salespersons contact details to this post, so if anyone wants to speak to the team there they can. JovanKoprica@sytner.co.uk 01494 455100 I just cannot ask for anymore, in what is a very expensive purchase for me. If anyone in London & West Yorkshire PM’s me, I will let know my issues and, in my opinion, who to avoid. I’ll also be back shortly to High Wycombe to collect my new M2 and order my wife’s new X3. Just one final comment on Sytner because I know they get a lot of bad press, especially in forums, but if the team at High Wycombe are systematic of Sytner overall I will be sticking with them. Hopefully the other two dealerships of not a reflection of their groups overall because if they are I know some buyers are getting truly awful experiences. The M2 is being returned, the deal is done for a new factory order. I have no real reason to take the time to write this, other than when buying a car I know the difference between a good and bad experience, and I think if anyone else uses High Wycombe the chances are you will get a good one rather than a bad one. So, picked up my BMW i4 40 on 30 September. All was good until we tried to connect the car with the MyBMW app. No connection... I was told that the signal in the area was weak. OK, came home, no connection... The sales executive in response to my email, informed me that this was apparently due to Vodafone glitch and he would call me next day with an update. He didn't... Next thing I've realised when driving was that the car lacks Technology Pack Plus. I was very specific when ordering the car that I wanted this spec. It includes safety features which I find important and would't buy the car without it. So now I am left with a faulty car which I didn't want... Shame of you, Sytner High Wycombe as I am sure you have been fully aware that the spec is not available. It's not the end of this story, that's for sure...

My first experience of buying a premium brand car from a BMW main dealership. How disappointing it is to be so keen to buy a car, only to be let down by the “premium” experience that the dealership gives to you as a buying customer. I say premium because when you buy a BMW, which is a premium brand, you expect a premium experience at the dealership from where you purchase it. Sadly, this has not been the case with Sytner BMW in High Wycombe. The catalogue of events unfolded like this: When presented with the fact that a higher specification vehicle in the same dealer group (but not of the specification I actually wanted) with less miles was at the same price, there was no explanation and no effort to find out why this was. It seems that Sytner, as a group, like to pull their prices out of a magic hat, sometimes pulling a goofy rabbit with their vehicle valuations, the goofy rabbit spreading goofy customer service to some of the staff too. The BMW I was looking to purchase was at a Sytner dealership in Sheffield and I called the High Wycombe dealership, asking if they could transport it to their showroom for me to view and test drive, as this was more convenient to me. They agreed to put the car on a transporter and get it in for me, which was nice of them (and standard practice - no favours being done here). However, when the car was “transported” it was actually driven from Sheffield to High Wycombe, adding extra miles to the car. Not only adding miles to the car but also adding a new scratch too. Further to this messy start, while inspecting the car in the sunlight, it was apparent that there had been some kind of a respray along the whole of the drivers side but mainly the top of the door. When challenged about this, the sales manager, Ben Lear, was adamant that this was “within our standards” and “not a problem”, even though I expressed that it was a terrible respray and should be corrected. At the very least, there should have been offered a correction for this, in the form of a new respray of the areas in question and not just a “shrug” of the shoulders and “that’s it mate, take it or leave it” attitude. So much for customer service, let alone “premium” service from a premium brand. Even further to this, upon my continuing inspection, the car had tragically grown a large scratch on the rear bumper, as clear as day. The scratch was not visible in the photos online, so this was something new. It was also something that, had I not brought it up with the dealership, they would have happily sold the car to me, regardless. To add insult to injury, upon discussing this issue (and the terrible respray along the drivers side), the sales manager, Ben Lear, made out that the dealership would be doing us a favour by respraying the bumper. Maybe this sales manager should go back to BMW management training as this kind of problem is not a favour to the customer, it is essential that any damage should be fixed prior to handover (which could have been avoided if they had transported the car and not driven it). This was always common practice for the premium brand dealership that I had worked for. There was no goodwill at all in this experience, no “feeling valued as a customer”. The sales manager, Ben Lear, could not care less if I bought the car or not, he was not prepared to fix any issues with the car except the “favour” of respraying the bumper. While talking about the finance, we asked the sales person and business manager that maybe a first service could be given as a goodwill gesture because of the bad respray but this was flatly refused by Ben Lear. Even the staff we spoke to were quite shocked by the attitude we were getting. Is this how a premium brand such as BMW is treating its customers now? It seems so, though I have family members who have bought BMW’s from other dealerships and have had amazing experiences, all problems fixed with the car and driven away feeling like they have bought into a great brand with great service behind them. This is not the case at BMW Sytner in High Wycombe. The BMW in question was selling as an approved used car for £27,500. It drove very well and ticked all of the boxes for my purchase. The problems that are in evidence with the car, should not be a problem for any dealership to work out. It seems that Sytner High Wycombe are not the place to buy a car from if you want a premium brand experience. They do not have your best interests at heart, have no goodwill whatsoever and could not care less if you buy a car from them or not. With this attitude, quite frankly they are no better than a back street second-hand car dealer. In the end, I bought the car because this is the car I want. There are so few of these cars for sale with the specification I wanted, that I had no choice. The experience has been severely lacking and I would never recommend BMW Sytner High Wycombe to anybody. BMW head office will receive a copy of my review and I sincerely hope they give this dealership some guidance because they need it badly. A message for Andy Clements, Managing Director of Sytner High Wycombe - on your website it says “As a team, we are totally committed to delivering the highest possible level of customer service” with your name proudly next to this message - my advice to you is to remove this “pledge” of yours and put something a little more accurate. Further reading of your Google reviews tells an interesting story too, especially your replies to disgruntled customers, saying you are “sorry to read that on this occasion we have not delivered upon our pledge”, repeating this same line to customers who have had a bad experience. Where is your effort to actually rectify any of these problems? I don’t see any action at all, just a head held in shame that you are unable to offer good service. You should be spearheading a premium brand and acting as the champion of the customer, not allowing your business to just claw as much money as possible without wanting to give the best experience to your customers. It seems you have forgotten what proper customer service is. A message for Ben Lear, sales manager - go and get some further training with BMW in customer relations. You really need customers to buy into the dealership eco-system and want to have a good experience, make them feel valued and not think that they are your mate buying a car from you. Congratulations on making the whole BMW buying experience so bad from your dealership, let’s hope you get some proper training in your role. Buying a car should be an experience that is not making you feel like you have to fight for things to be right with the car, you need to learn this as it says more about you as a sales manager than it does about me as a customer. Disgusting, disappointing and certainly not a “premium” experience, avoid this place like the plague.

Told to pick up the car when it was ready. Went back the second time the stone chips and scratches were still there. Very rude manager, told me to buy a new car if I want to buy a car without and stone chips. Also, no one from their Finance to check the payment on a Saturday, so another waste of trip. Dealt with many people but no one to take responsibility. Bought the car for my daughter but the car was registered on my name. When the car was delivered, there were two type 2 cable and no domestic charging cable. That means I can’t charge up the car because the wall charger was not yet installed. Only two loose papers for the purchase, Not even a BMW folder. I have bought four BMWs in the past. This was my worst experience. Well below my expectations from BMW dealer. Highly not recommended.

Took my car in for a recall replacement and got everything taken care off plus a health check and car valeted , Perfect 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Never any need to go to other BMW showrooms, Sytner in High Wycombe offer a fantastic collection across the range with prices to suit most people. I will no doubt visit them when my new 3 series comes up for changing. B.T.W The quality of their coffee matches their cars.

We are a car dealership and trade over 70 cars a month and are very much aware with the standard of customer service required in this trade . I am truly disappointed to say that even being the main dealers they have no respect for customers what so ever. We ordered a roof blind and as it arrived we fitted that in and once fitted when we rolled that blind down and it was covered in dirt and was already broken inside. We contacted them back right away and sent them pictures. We even sent the both blinds back to them for inspection but not only they refused to refund a part that's worth over £300.00 but were extremely rude and arrogant. Their supervisor who wouldn't even give his name argued we should have opened it manually, checked it and then fitted it. As i understand we all used to pay main dealers high rated prices because they could be trusted but not sure if that really applies anymore at least not to this BMW dealership. AVOID SYTNER BMW IN HIGH WYCOMBE AT ANY COST . Anything goes wrong you are on your own even if its no fault of yours.
I purchased my BMW from Synder in High Wycombe in September and up to now I have had no issues with it, the dealers have been brilliant and the car was immaculate when I received it and drives perfectly. I will definitely recommend this dealership. They were great.
