October 2022 I order a new model BMW M2 G87 Several months later when I’m online to bmw chat they inform me of a discrepancy, the car has the wrong interior, BMW uk advised me the configurator had pulled the wrong details through, I’m advised to speak with the dealer Sytner Bmw Nottingham, I did exactly that and was confronted by the sales manager, from the onset I got the impression he wasn’t really going to help solve the matter and this was very true, the error wasn’t due to my fault yet the sales manager gave me 2 options both costing me more money, I advised the sales manager that I would contact BMW UK head office to get them to sort the matter out because I should not have to pay any additional costs and the manager replied in a sarcastic manner, YOU DO THAT, I found this particular sales manager to be unhelpful and very unprofessional. June 2024 my car arrives and I call into the dealership and everything is agreed and the car is in the bay opposite the showroom whilst they carry out the pdi, couple days later whilst I’m passing I call in unexpected and my car is now in there showroom for everyone to climb over and sit inside it, I express my concerns over it being in the showroom to the salesperson whom I had originally placed the order with, on inspection the interior drivers door card was badly marked and also the trim on the door sill, no doubt this was caused from people getting in and out the car, there shoes making contacted with the trims. The salesperson said the interior damage would be sorted. June 30th collection day, I asked the salesperson by email had the damage trim issues been resolved and he confirmed they had, on arrival at Sytner Bmw Nottingham to collect my brand new model M2 g87 I open the drivers door to be confronted with the damaged trim and what made matters worse, they had tried to clean the marks on the door card with some strong cleaner and by doing so they had now removed the colour from the door card leaving it stained, so in essence the salesperson lied to myself, in fact they made it look a total mess, i leave the dealership and drive my new m2 home feeling extremely disappointed. On arriving home I’m contacted by one of Sytner contractors whom carries out trim repairs and he advises they will respray the door card, they can’t guarantee it will match the other side 100% obviously I refuse this after all this is a brand new car, Something about the registration caught my eye, I can’t remember the registration having a letter Z, turns out they actually put the wrong registration plates on the vehicle and let me drive away, the registration number plates they put on my new M2 was confirmed by dvla for a BMW G31 530E m sport, good forbid if anything had happened because legally I wasn’t insured, I also had to drive back to the dealership in another vehicle to collect the correct registration plates. Total disaster, it spoilt that new car feeling, the interior damaged panels had not been replaced, it felt more used car, I couldn’t even bare to drive it, I felt that disappointed and so I sold it to a another dealer at a loss with only delivery miles 3 weeks after taking delivery. I emailed the head of business about my experience and the failings and the reply I received felt faux, the reply was focused on repeatedly apologising, over and over again and tbh over - apologising only dilutes a true apology, if the head of business was really concerned surely it would have felt more personal if he had taken 2 minutes out of his busy schedule and called myself instead he repeatedly apologised for there errors - failings and damage caused to my vehicle and offered me a free running in service. I feel they should not be allowed to retail M-cars as they don’t appreciate the aspects of the this particular model.

I spoke with BMW UK , they also confirmed in writing the error was most likely down to an IT issue and certainly not my fault, BMW Uk worked with Martin @ Sytner Nottingham whom was the only helpful person at the branch, Sytner was instructed by BMW Uk to give me there car that was arriving as this had the correct interior spec and Sytner BMW Notts would have my car, the only problem was the sales manager still wanted the additional monies from myself and in the end BMW UK paid the difference, I found the sales manager to be unhelpful and very unprofessional. They truly tarnish the M brand and should not be allowed to retail M models.

This is to make everyone aware of Sytner bmw body shop Nottingham. My car went in for damage repair and I was given a courtesy car with lots of cosmetic imperfections which the lady said they know but I know it will come to bite me later so I was going to take photos of the car and a crack to the front windscreen. I was told to inspect the car and once happy I could leave. I told I will take photos and transferred stuff from my car to the courtesy car and once I have finish I will drop the keys. Next day while driving the car the crack started to expand and I rang the body shop but no one had the courtesy to ring back and check anyway when went to drop the car I was told the crack was not there and so on. I had clear photo and video of the car and that to within the body shop space if not they would have ripped me off. The valet foreman was adamant it was not there meaning I was lying but when I showed the evidence his reply was it was missed, what a rip-off, I wonder how many customers are ripped off this way. The body shop manager was there. I would advice everyone to be careful and take maximum evidence if taking courtesy car from Sytner bmw body shop Nottingham. I have made a complaint and will be taking it legally as they were trying to penalise me for their mistake and they have questioned honesty and integrity.

I purchased a Porsche from Sytner and upon returning home to Cardiff discovered that the air conditioning was smelling and not working properly and the coolant light had come on. I booked the car into Porsche Cardiff with the agreement of the salesman at Sytner, who confirmed by telephone that Sytner had failed to check these. Porsche Cardiff diagnosed serious problems with the car, that had not been detected by Sytner. The works required were not covered by the Sytner Select Warranty as they should have been picked up by Sytner prior to sale of the vehicle. The required works will cost thousands of pounds. This was brought to the attention of Sytner by email, but I received no reply other than to say a manager would call me. No manager called me. I repeatedly telephoned, but nobody would speak to me. This is completely unacceptable and is an ongoing problem.

Where do I start. From lying about the mileage on the car they were selling, increasing the price by £500 over the advertised price...to a complete lack of communication in over 8 days since paying a deposit...getting our names wrong...info on the purchase docs incorrect...Absolutely horrific service from 3 separate sales people, especially the head of sales, Daniel lawrence. Easily THE worst experience we've ever had in buying a car. Sale cancelled.

We exchanged our electric car for a brand new Mini Cooper and we love it, the sales team were very professional and made us feel comfortable and have continued to support us with a problem regarding the hand over which is now resolved we will always recommend sytner Nottingham as we have been so pleased with our purchase.

I bought into the EV hype last year with Mini Nottingham - huge mistake. They were not even aware of the spec themselves. The 145mile/kw was a joke as practically only managed 110 at best on a warm day with no heating, fan, air con, radio on. In winter I either freeze or just about struggle to do an 80mile trip in one go. I won't be getting this again (unfortunately stuck on a Pcp for another 2y). The pros are the drive is smooth, feels good to the environment, no tax, occasionally better aprking options (if EV charge is provided free - rare at the moment). We need a better range, better incentives to buy (install fast charge points in every town please, even better have a free one installed at home). Otherwise the 2030 goal mark isn't going to work.

I purchased a used Audi Q5 S line from sytner BMW Nottingham September 2020. My Sales Executive was Stephen Barradell who in my experience was first class and thorough throughout the sale. Such honesty and integrity is rarely found today, which put me at ease through the buying process. I would certainly recommend anyone who is uncertain whether to buy a used car, look no further if you are wanting exceptional service.

I'm a motability customer & I was lucky enough to be put onto Myron Arnold at Sytner Nottingham;I've been on the scheme for many years & have very rarely come across somebody so selflessly helpful & eager to guide & advise you to the car that is most suited to your needs & price range. Wasn't pushy, in your face or eager to get to the cash - just genuinely helpful.
