This is the fifth car I have had from Sytner Sunningdale......Yousif (salesman ) was brilliant from start to finish......amazing quality used car and great service
My wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December 2022 and was rushed into hospital to have it removed, a 7-hour operation at the RVI, cut ear to ear and the tumor the size of a grapefruit was removed. Recovery is around six months for her so I decided to buy a 7 series, the flagship model as I thought it would be nice and comfortable for her to be driven in as she was no longer able to drive herself. I found the perfect car at Sytner Sunningdate a £49,000 nearly new 740d. I asked if I could arrange for a transporter to collect the car on the 1st of Feb but I was told this wasn’t possible, the car had to be paid for in full and off site by the 31st of January in case the branch got an audit. I drove from Newcastle to London to collect the car. The salesman was a really nice guy however he was clueless about the cars features and openly admitted he had no idea, turned out he had only been in the motor trade for four months. The car had not been MOTd and we were told to get the MOT done in Newcastle and to send them the bill as they had ran out of time. On the journey home we noticed a very bad vibration coming from the car, we informed the salesman who said to get it checked when we get the MOT done. During inspection we found both front wheels were buckled, the car had obviously not been prepared correctly or test driven by a technician. I contacted the salesman to inform him I was going to reject the vehicle and I have spoken to the sales manager at least 15 times regarding this, I even spoke with the branch manager who got the aftersales manager to call me to arrange the car to be booked in for wheel balance. The car was eventually collected on Monday 27th Feb, and I was told I would receive a refund on the same day, today is the 3rd March and I’m still awaiting my £49,000 refund. Horrendous service especially from a BMW main dealer. If anyone at the branch reads this, please can you send my refund, I have just telephoned but everyone was too busy to come to the phone.

We bought a BMW in mid-February and the car was in extremely poor condition which all the basic functions like bluetooth and USB connection to audio system were fail, navigation system was malfunction etc. While we checked the car in detail, most of the electric wire were cut, leading to most of the basic functions not working. The car was returned to services 2 times in first 2 months and dealership refused to bear the maintenance and checking cost. We were disappointed about the quality of an approved used car which big gaps between front door trims and gap in bumper found. A nightmare!
Vehicle returned 3 times in first 2 months, with dealership saying I do not have the right to now reject the vehicle. Consumer Act breach from a firm that should know better. Shocking service.
My wife bought a £29500 Bmw X6,two days later engine management light on,it was a noc sensor, nearly £900.00,,had to take the car to my local Bmw dealer who fixed it under warranty,they gave me a report that the two front tyres where low and should not have been sold by a main dealer.The car reeked of stale smoke after being shut for 2 days,. Sunningdales answer,we will send you a "Bomb: to clear the smell and as the tyres just passed the mot,not interested.Is this how a reputable Bmw dealer treats a customer after spending £29500 on a car,what a bunch of cowboys.

CAR HAS NOW BEEN REJECTED DUE TO FAULTS Extremely disappointing and shambolic experience. Where Marc from sales has been really professional and helpful I can't really say the same about that car that has been sold to me via BMW approved used. I purchased the car not even 2 weeks ago and on day one car developed quite severe condensation in both headlights. I've been told by Service team to bring the car down however, apparently the pictures which I have given are not good enough so I have to now build up the case for BMW so something can be done about it. Moving forward after collecting the vehicle back from the service centre car suddenly started shaking while idle. Not every single time however, it does happen. Also when I switch on AC the car is making some weird loud moan noises which is quite concerning. This being said at times when I turn off AC the entire car shakes like some kind of a small airplane turbulence. I really wonder how this dealership is still allowed to keep the BMW logo above. Great image for BMW approved used program. Unfortunately I had to do a research on my own hence, brought the car in to 2 independent BMW specialists and both confirmed compressor unit is faulty and needs replacement however, the AUTOLOGIC computer highlighted even more faults including EGR unit. It's quite puzzling how this car has passed BMW approved used assessment where all the cars should have been fully tested. Attaching readings from autologic computer. Once I had diagnostics done from other garages BMW acknowledged there is a fault with the car however, I had to show their mechanics how to troubleshoot certain problems as they are basically useless and have no idea how to diagnose simple things. Going back to turbulence aka car shakes it appears engine mounts are gone and most likely transmission mounts are also gone. Engine swings from left to right in the bay shaking the entire car!!! Sytner Sunningdale has sold the car which is not roadworthy putting my family as well as other people on the road at risk. It's barely been 2 weeks since I Purchased the car and most of the miles done were to go back to the dealership to diagnose the fault. This place needs to be checked as they are putting cars on the road that are not roadworthy. It appears this dealership can be very defensive with implying their service centre is only correct if it comes to diagnosing the problems. They will dismiss any other attempts done by independent mechanics just to drag the entire process for even longer. Saying that just before I rejected the car I have called upon their own BMW official assistance and the person who diagnosed the car stated the engine mounts are bad however, this dealership will still deny any further problems with the car... AVOID AT ANY COST! I really do not understand how the car with basically no engine mounts and other issues like dead compressor passed the stringiest checks FOR BMW APPROVED USED CARS!! Friendly staff, relaxed yet professional atmosphere and never pushy
I have bought 18 cars in my lifetime and some dealers have not been good but none has been as bad as Sytner. My £50,000 i8 was delivered without the V5 which l was told would arrive in a few days. When I spoke to the sales manager after a week he said he would chase it up and also told me that they had taxed the car on my behalf so I could drive it. After further reminders there was still no V5 so I applied to Swansea and in due course it arrived. I then tried to change to a personalised reg but was told that I could not do so as the car was not taxed, so I had been driving for three months without tax and without it insurance is invalid. Hard to imagine how a dealership could be worse than Sytner BMW Sunningdale.
