Hi, I am disappointed you have never told me you were upset. I have looked again for your email but have no record of it. I would not have ignored it just as I am not ignoring your review now. However I would ask if you were so incensed, why on earth would you not pick up the phone and talk to me, hopefully you would have realised I am easy to talk to and perhaps we could have got to the bottom of your concern. I was as surprised as you that I did not sell your car for you, although I often have cars in stock for 2/3 months before I sell my own stock. However to suggest that the car was being used for my own personal use is not only wrong but downright scandalous. I do not say this to brag but I have my own fully expensed Range Rover to use so I would have no reason to drive your car and I hope this comment is taken in the same spirit that it is meant simply to justify why I would have no reason to use your car As for the valet I did have the car valeted and re-cleaned after each test drive and as you will recall I did have a test drive the evening prior to you picking the car up and I know I did explain this was why the car was a bit dirty on the outside. I have no idea why you would think the car had done another 650 miles and just as bemused why you would choose to publish such things. I am gutted you appear to be unhappy with my attempts to sell your car for you at no cost to you and equally gutted that you chose not to mention it directly to me but I can absolutely assure you that your car was not being used whilst in my possession. As I said had you called me I am sure we could have gotten to the bottom of it. Alan

All I would ever ask is that if you are going to write or say something you are at least truthful. This lady bought an 11 year old car from me August 2014 and decided to opt for the 1 month warranty. She did report a concern within 7 days and I asked her to bring the car in for us to investigate (she does live around 30 miles away). She has never allowed me that opportunity. I even suggested she take it somewhere more local, she did not do that for over 3 months and had driven the car over 4000 miles. Even then I only became aware of this in March of this year when I responded to Trading Standards. At no time have I ever fobbed her off until she came to me in late January and asked me to replace her alternator which was not an original concern. At that point admittedly I did point out that she was well outside the warranty period. At this point she had the car nearly 5 months and driven over 5000 miles. I consider myself to be more than fair when dealing with customers but there has to be a degree of fairness in return and fundamentally if someone has a problem with a car they need to allow me to look at solving that issue immediately not wait 7 months. The fault has been fixed elsewhere 7 months later and despite this I have still offered to contribute towards the bill. I hope anyone reading this will agree I could not have done anymore for this customer and this review is not a true reflection of how my business operates and treat my many happy customers.
