I bought a £40000.00 Mercedes S class remotely from an individual called Omar. The car was delivered 240 miles as promised, but wasn’t as described. The dealer was evasive over the phone about mileage queries and did not have any idea about the complexity of the car he was selling. The entire experience was let down by the dealers lack of attention to detail, lack of pro activity to address queries, and defensive attitude towards basic questions that should be a part of after sales back up and customer service. On reflection, although the car seems to be fine, I would advise any prospective customer to exercise caution with this dealership. They are not specialists, don’t know their subject or their market, and are somewhat evasive when questioned.

I phoned up and made a full offer on a car, the garage applied for finance on my behalf with a credit broker, I had credit checks carried out in my name, finance was accepted only to be told they sold the car to someone else. As if that's not bad enough it was the finance broker that told me the garage had just sold the car, not the dealership themselves. Nothing was offered to compensate me like money off of another car. What a disgraceful way to conduct business. I hope lots of people waste their time and effect their credit.

I travelled from Glasgow to Tanyard Motors with the view to buying a car from them. A few days previously I had bank transferred a holding deposit on the car. Rashid had also provided all the information I had asked for such as actual registration number , number of previous owners etc. He was very open and honest. When I got there the car was as described if not better. I was given full access to all the paperwork they had on the vehicle. Unfortunately due to financial constraints I never completed the deal. Both Omar and Rashid were very understanding and returned my deposit immediately. I don't know why others had a different experience with them but I found them very decent, open, honest, and pleasant to deal with.

Tanyard Motors are really honest, reliable, friendly guys fantastic.

Phoned up Tanyard Motors on Saturday delivered 270 miles on Tuesday took my car as px , I’ve had dealings with dealers before and Omar and team were excellent , so easy to deal with as I’m sometimes over cautious, but this purchase was easy , there very personable and patient car was excellent , can’t say enough brilliant highly recommend.

Just bought a X5 of these lads, the car was as described even when they was a fault with the door lock I called back and they asked to bring the car back and sorted it for me there and then cannot recommend enough. Regards Arthur
