With all dealers you have to have faith that they will not rip you off. Unfortunately Target cars Derby have done that. I was sold a car with faults, clutch, mass flywheel, brakes, oil leaks. They have been absolutely no help and are refusing to repair or refund the car. Will never trust these rogue dealers. So dissapoimted.

Target Cars take all complaints seriously, and fully investigate in accordance with established FCA protocols. Mr Welsh has raised his dissatisfaction with the Finance company that we sold the Car to, he has a legal contract with them & it's normal that the Lender fully investigates his dissatisfaction and hold the supplying dealer to account 'IF' there is a case to answer. In this case the Lender has fully investigated and they agree with Target Cars [and UK Consumer rights Law] that his expectations for 'an item of wear' on this used vehicle are not the responsibility of the supplying dealer. We believe that if Mr Welsh paid for qualified professional legal advise he would be advised of the same ! Target Cars made a substantial 'pure goodwill' contribution offer to the replacement of the 'Worn out ' Part/s but this has not been taken up. We remain dissapointed that Mr Welsh has chosen to review us negatively without the backing or support of a sound Legal position. Each year we sell Hundreds of vehicles, so all readers of this review are invited to consider how many negative reviews we have received & make their own conclusions. Target Cars google review score [as of today] is 24% higher than Mercedes-Benz of Derby & 20.5% higher than Hilton Garage !! [don't believe us check for yourself]

Hi Ken, I'm pleased we met you expectation for selling your car to us. The internet is awash with companies who offer 'hooking' prices that you never get when you visit them often because of harsh/micro appraising or selling fees !! Target Cars make an offer & stick to it, we won't pay more than Vehicles are worth, but we often better those 'We offer on any car' type of companies. I remember your car it was a credit to you, hense I paid you a bit more to get it ..... Thank you for being a great seller ! regards kevin
I find buying a car is both stressful and daunting,but for the first time in a long time Target Cars not only had the vehicle i was looking for but car was not a stock photo and i was able to view the car online before visiting the dealer and the car was exactly as described once i arrived to view,i was also left to make my own judgement and view vehicle without any sales pressure whilst looking around the cars on the dealership.Once i was ready to make any decisions i went to the office and they gave me any information i asked about and i was able to take the car for a test drive.Target Cars is the ONLY dealer i have ever been to that didn't run out to me as soon as i set foot on forecourt and looked at a car and also didn't need to upsell or tell me any unnecessary information.I had the car for a while now and still best car i've bought for ages recently taken back to have the air conditioning serviced and the service received by Kevin is second to none,one of the most pleasant helpful and understanding people iv'e had the privilege to meet....Thankyou Kevin and all the staff at Target Cars an Sitwell Garage for proving car buying and servicing doesn't have to be a trauma.

Sold my car to Target Cars in Derby, was struggling to sell it because it was not taxed and battery was flat, they made the whole process amazingly simple and even picked it off my drive for free because it was local saving me the effort and cost of having to tax it to get it there. Top blokes the guys I dealt with, especially Kevin, gave me a fair price and sorted it in less than 24 hours including collecting the car. Couldn't of been happier. Would recommend to all my friends and family

Our home delivery service is a 'not for profit' service. We can accommodate most locations and charges are on a case by case basis.
Buyers need to appreciate that delivery staff need to get home also, and this needs to be facilitated with their safety in mind as well.
