I recently bought a car from Tay Cars, good deal, easy to deal with,will be back, got 12 months mot & 3 months warranty, all for £995 thanks guys.
Never had any problems with them,car had a slight problem, they took it in & even gave me a courtesy car,got it back,it wasent covered under the warranty,but there was no charge,great service
I was apprehensive about buying from this garage due to these silly little reviews. It put me off slightly, however we have had our little car 6 months now. YES i did have to call 3 weeks about a noise coming from the back of the car, but it was rectified. They sell there cars with a 1 month warranty. I think people think they are buying brand new cars from these garages. If you want a brand new car then go to a big dealer. These small local garages, most of them have been around for many years. For every negative review online, think how many happy customers they have. Social media and these forums wreck local small businesses. I for one, are happy with my purchase. What do people expect for incase my case £995??? Yes i had to spend a little money here and there but i was not naive when buying the car in the first place. many cars on there webiste are less than £3000!! I feel these reviews have been exaggerated.
BOUGHT CAR FROM THIS GARAGE,WAS MOTD FOR US,BRAKE PADS AND DISCS NEEDED ,DODGY BATTERY,EXHAUST HELD UP WITH JUBILEE CLIP AND FUEL TANK WAS CATALOYED UP NEW TANK COSTS 400 POUND ALREADY PAID 330 POUNDS FOR DISCS,BRAKE PADS AND NEW BATTERY,WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS GARAGE TO MY WORST ENEMY DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Dear Mr Ross, When purchasing your vehicle you were given a 1 months warranty. You DID NOT at any point contact us regarding any issues until 2 months after purchasing the vehicle. When you finally did inform us that you were having issues with vehicle, you also informed us that you had already had the work carried out.A while later we have a talk with trading standards, who also could not understand why you hadn't let us know as soon as possible. Phone calls were exchanged with Bryan from Trading Standards. We agreed to look at the vehicle however you would not make the vehicle available for us to inspect. In Fact you failed to turn up so we can access all the work that you seemingly had carried out. We recently had an email from Trading Standards stating they were not taking things any further which we are not surprised about. We acted accordingly and by Trading Standards advice. How could we simply fix repairs if 1, we were never aware of the faults until it was too late (2 months later), 2, you failed to show at the appointment that we schedule under goodwill. We have been in business for a long time. A warranty is there for you the consumers protection IF anything should go wrong. We are sorry you felt the need to write such a false review on a vehicle & and one that we still never have been able to see for ourselves. Taycars Management.
Please please please do not buy from Tay Cars they are the most unhelpful unprofessional company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Their made up excuses, stories and "updates" are utterly unbelievable! The owner is clearly a ghost in the business as he was never available to speak with. We were sold a car not fit for purpose which we had for a total of 3 days Taycars had it for the rest of the time (4 weeks) for "repair" apparently the car couldn't be fixed and I could chose another at my own cost! In the end we recieved a full refund but were left without transport ! Not only that we have been asked for the V5 for the faulty car as they need it to sell the car!!!!!! Do not buy from them unless you want a month of misery and poor excuses like I have.
Do Not Buy from tay cars. I was sold a death trap and they never took any responsibility. The car i got was far from safe! The brakes don't work properly they slow the car but don't bring it to a stop on a steep hill. The Steering rack is leaking . Loud and very heavy steering wheel. Windows don't go up or down. horn not working The list goes on.
My car was bought from Tay Cars and the agreed price was to include repairs done to the car before collection. I received the car with no work done on it and was told that it would be okay. I had this checked by another garage and it did need these repairs. I would not recommend Tay Cars.

hi there, thanks for your review.Hope I don't sound rude but can you be more specific? was it the advisories from the MOT he refused to fix or was it something you noticed in the car, was the car delivered to you? I know a friend who wants to buy a car in this same place.
