Car Dealer Reviews is an
official partner of Auto Trader
I called in the morning asking for information on a car and a lovely lady said she'd get Nick to call me back. I missed it as we were driving but my husband called back and was met with pure rudeness and told we would have to pay a £500 deposit to look at the car. We said we couldn't pay that and the guy seemed pretty unphased. Zero customer service. Unfortunately will avoid this company now.

I found a car via Autotrader which looked to be of interested. I visited the website of the garage the car was sold at to find no opening/ closing hours so submitted an 'email' via the auto trader website to ask for this information. I then received a call from Nick (which I didn't answer as I was at work) so replied to him asking who it was as the number he called from was different to that on the website. I explained to him I couldn't call as I was at work and from there all I received were incredibly rude and unprofessional messages. Safe to say I will NOT be going to even view a car from his garage, let alone buy. Glad to see I am not the only person who feels the same way. Terrible.

After having such a terrible experience with a previous dealer......I highly recommend taylor trading......i travelled a good few miles but definitely worth it! VeryPleasent/Honest/proffessional man! Responded quickly at all times. So glad i found Taylor Trading. Big Thank you again!
Sales department at Taylor Trading showed to be very rude and careless and don’t want to help you find a car. Only buy a car of a sales garage that respects customers! I won’t be purchasing a car from here nor recommending it to anyone.
Avoid Taylor Trading. Travelled a considerable distance to view a car which looked in good condition from the pictures in the advert. Upon arrival found that the car had considerable issues with bodywork, a cracked mirror and damaged alloy wheels. Seller advised there was no accident damage to car, but it was clear there had been a bad quality repair done to the back door. When pointing these issues the seller got very defensive and said most people wouldn’t pick up on all these issues, meaning he would happily hide problems from his potential buyers. He made us feel uncomfortable throughout the whole viewing and we ultimately had to walk away due to his behaviour. Worst car sales person I have dealt with to date.

Re Light Blue Mini, ND61 LEF. Priced at £4,495 agreed offer at £4,000. Thet agreed a price and then didn’t like the deal anymore – he then gazumped me. Initially we contacted them by text for information. Immediately they're accusing us of not being real buyers as we would not speak to him (passive aggression – my daughter was quite taken aback). I called for my daughter and arranged a test drive. To begin with he seemed like a nice chap – big on honesty, feedback, customer service but challenging me all the time and telling me how much he knows about cars – it was weird. Tells me he’s sold 600+ Minis, so he must have sold thousands of cars right? Only 52 reviews and most this year. Seem odd. Off for a test drive and the hard sell he’s focussing on my daughters for some reason. Apparently, they are the decision makers, quite patronising actually. My daughter was offended when he suggested that I was paying for her car (she earns her own money). After the test drive I spotted some damaged lights on the car (he said everything was perfect), he was not really interested and tried to minimise – I think he’s been on a sales course. I also queried in the process his three month warranty. In fact this is not a warranty, it’s a promise from him to fix the car if he feels it’s defective. On our test drive he explained that one women had broken her engine (how??) and he did not honour. A real warranty is a legal document, not a promise. Following the test drive I asked him for his best price, he said it was the sticker price. I declined so he asked me to make an offer (I would advise you to push hard on price). I said £4,000 and he then declined and I left. Two days later and very oddly, he then emailed my 20 year old daughter with the letter “y”. We came to learn that his written communication was odd and quite provocative. I texted him and said that the offer still stood but otherwise it was over (ie don’t contact my daughter). He immediately phoned and we agreed a deal at 4k, but he still wanted me to explain how I thought I knew so much about cars??? After arranging to pick up the car, pay deposits and so on he later found that another buyer was interested and I was effectively gazumped. Completely went back on his deal. I even had a full HPI done. The whole experience with them was a complete waste of time.

Taylor Trading is the worst car dealership I have ever come across. I no longer trust this business or the people who work there. I purchased a vehicle from him and within the warranty period my car stopped working (Cambelt that was supposedly changed, snapped). He accepted fault and took in the car for repairs. Four weeks later I still have not received my car back and he has lied on numerous occasions about it being fixed.I have had to transport my children on public transport in terrible weather for four weeks and all Taylor Trading can think about is the inconvenience to them. He refuses to tell me where my car is, which is unacceptable, he has misled me about the duration which it would take to fix my car and he has made no reasonable efforts to resolve the matter without getting abusive on the phone to my husband and I. Under any circumstances DO NOT TRUST Taylor Trading I am now having to resort to Court action to get my money back as he still has my car and my money.

The vehicle was not roadworthy for test driving due to faulty brakes but we did not discover this until middle of test drive; we waited a week for this to be rectified before purchasing the car. Windscreen had been cracked during brake repair but dealer not prepared to reimburse this cost and then turbo seized week after purchase. Very poor customer service; we found communication with dealer himself very difficult and awkward. We would not recommend this dealer.
