Sold a vehicle with ‘full service history’ assured it would be ‘passed over’, then after sale denied that it had any service history, sold without locking wheel nuts which I had to replace all of, told I would be reimbursed, calls ignored and no payment, later denied offering to pay, had the vehicle for 6 months and had to spend £1500 to get road worthy and safe, ‘6 month warranty’ is the lowest grade of warranty that doesn’t cover a packet of crisps, utterly useless, was told I would get money reimbursed, you guessed it.. I did not receive ANY payments whatsoever, sold the vehicle within 7 months of owning as I still didn’t feel safe in it, ‘Martin’ completely disinterested when I eventually got into contact after rejected calls for weeks, he had an answer for everything denying all liability, very arrogant and an utter CON MAN. Avoid purchasing from this seller if you value your money and safety.

Nick in response to DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER
Thanks Joe saved us falling into same trap. Much appreciated :)
My partner bought a car from this premises, first car as they had just passed, didn’t let them test drive, just sat in. All was well until we picked the car up went on the motorway and white smoke coming out the bike, pulled up checked the oil was bone dry, as my uncle is a mechanic he suggested a service, I got told off TCS it had just had a service, my uncle got the car serviced and under the bonnet was filthy and black, spark plugs black, oil filter black, they also plugged in the diagnostic machine and it came up with faults with the ABS speed sensors, how dare you sell a young girl first car with problems, be ashamed of yourselves.

Bought a Ford Mondeo from TCS. Reasonably priced and in good condition. Have had it for over a month with no problems whatsoever. Sale was straightforward.
had issues with the car less than a month after buying which they refused to fix, also gave me the entire v5 with the previous owners details which is a breach of GDPR. Do not deal with this company.
A horror story. They will not accept credit cards and had to threaten them to get half of my deposit back when I pulled out of the deal which I am very glad I did. Bunch of cowboys to me. Terry Cav. £100 out of pocket would wish to comment further but would be littered with expletives, enough said.

absolutely disgraceful company. Had problems literally as soon as we left with the car, even though they had had it for a couple of weeks after we bought it to make sure it was in good condition. Got nearly an 8 grand car on finance nearly £250 a month so not exactly cheap, you would expect a working car for that! Engine light on, keys not working, losing power on the motorway, speedometer not working, odometer same mileage as MOT from years ago, not changed at all now either, black smoke when you drive, back seat wouldn’t click in properly, all electrics not working, boot not locking… just to name a few! When we called about these problems was told to take it to another garage, even though the car was meant to be under warranty, not surprisingly no garage would do this without payment. When we eventually managed to get them to look at it, they told us we needed to pay, which we obviously said no to as these problems were there before he sold it to us, he then had it for weeks, said we have fixed it, less than 24 hours after picking it up was having to be towed on the motorway again.. with our two year old daughter in the car!! Martin in particular, repeatedly lied and continually came up with excuses, he couldn’t care less even, knowing we had a young daughter, sold us a dangerous car. How trading standards haven’t shut this place down yet is beyond me! Have been no help whatsoever, we have tried to be patient and work with them but now have had to resort to legal proceedings. This was bought to be used as a work vehicle that could also be a family car (Mitsubishi L200) the amount of work my partner has lost because of this has caused massive financial problems for us, having to pay for taxis etc. Can’t believe they can treat people like this and not feel any guilt whatsoever! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Recently had the worst experience ever with a so called business man. My father purchased a vehicle from this person in good faith. Paid for it with his debit card and drove it home. On reaching home, he realised there were numerous things wrong with the car. The next morning he called and explained to the man the situation. My daughter went with him then to take the car back and explain the situation. Dad explained that he purchased the car in good faith, believing in the whole story of “this is a family business blah blah”. The owner of the business then exploded with “it’s not a f***ing money for me, I’ve had more f***ing money than you two could ever imagine. I’ve spent more money than you two will ever have on coke and shoved it up my f***ing nose. I’m an alcoholic and spent more f***ing money on ale than you two could ever earn”. It went on and on, my dad politely asked him to calm down and explained that there was no need for this and in front of his granddaughter, he would be happy if the issues could be resolved. The man then informed him it was too late and my dad “could have his f***ing money back”. Dad agreed this and then the man informed him he’d repay so much in cash and transfer the rest. He produced a wad of cash and told my daughter to count it, all the time causing further issues distracting her and arguing with dad. He then informed her it was clear she had never counted large amounts of money and he’d do it. He supposedly counted £10,500 in cash put it in an envelope unbeknown to dad and my daughter he’d slipped £1000 to one side. He transferred £1000 to dads bank and told him he was withholding the £500 for the warranty (which on now reading previous reviews is actually none existent). My daughter phoned and asked if I’d collect them ASAP which I did, the man shoved the envelope of cash in my hand through the window and again was unpleasant and patronising. We drove home only to realise when coming to bank the cash it was £1000 short. All in all it cost my dad £1500 for a very unpleasant and upsetting experience and for a car that he had less than 24 hours and with issues like the hand brake not actually working leaves you questioning how this car passed its MOT. Please steer well clear of this so called business, a fraudster and a vile human being. Zero stars but would not accept without putting one, so undeserving.
well were do I start ? Bought a fiat 500 from TCS the salesman Martin told us it was low mileage 71,000 there bullet proof you wont have any problems with this car. It came with a 6 month warranty which obviously gave you some confidence that you were buying from a reputable company it was top money at £3500 for a 10 year old car but the warranty was peace of mind. He said it had come from a lady owner who had looked after it and she was into owls as there was a mark on the body were a sticker had been, all plausible sales talk. It came with a full MOT which it passed with no advisories on the 7th January we picked up the car the next day and paid the balance. 3 months later the car started to make an horrendous noise on starting, I took it to the garage who normally does my cars, he looked at the car and told me the studs on the manifold had snapped in the cylinder head and maybe the cylinder head would need to be removed. He said it would be covered under warranty but he didn't want to do the work as it was hard dealing with the warranty company with the amount of emails and phone calls a real issue in getting payment for the work. I phoned the warranty company who told me to take it to a garage that are VAT registered. 6 garages later nobody wanted to do the warranty work, I had to take it to the main dealer who were the only people I could find willing to do the work and deal with the warranty company. The dealership found a problem with the catalytic converter, the heat shield, the 3 broken studs in the head and 3 tyres needed replacing. I had only covered 835 local miles since buying the car and it had passed its MOT with no advisories. The warranty company were sent photos of the repair by the dealership and responded that it wasn't covered by warranty but gave them no reason as to why. At this point the car had been taken apart so we had to go ahead with the repairs to the studs and heatshield at main dealer prices which cost £758. I phoned TCS and spoke to the same salesman, who told me that it was an older car and you should expect problems, he asked me what the mileage was I told him it was still around 71,000, he said well that's it you see you'll probably need the head gasket doing around 70,000 take it to a back street garage it'll probably only cost you £700, I asked about the warranty he told me they decide whether they want to pay out or not, its wear and tear he said. That was his last words he just wasn't interested. I found the last owner who lived in Oldham, the lady owner who was into owls was actually an Asian gentleman who was into take-aways. He moved the car on because it was making an horrendous noise on starting ??? This morning I have replaced two of the tyres, one was worn so badly that the wire was showing the other was also pretty bad. There is no way I have worn out two tyres in 835 miles of local driving since the mot. This man it taking money from honest hardworking people for vehicles that are not road worthy, how can the mot be valid ? the warranty he provides is pointless and serves absolutely no purpose, when have manifold studs ever been a wear and tear item ? This car was worn & torn when we bought it mate, your an absolute disgrace and I will be contacting trading standards straight after this review.
Dealership will tell you ANYTHING to take your money and then go back on their word. Terrible experience and out of pocket because of it. I cant stress enough do not trust anything this dealership tells you.

Avoid TCS Group! Check out reviews of this place online. After I viewed and test drove the car I decided to put down a £100 'refundable' deposit to reserve it. In the following days I read the reviews of this place online and although the car seemed perfect I was put off from buying from here (I've been stung before). I phoned to get my money back and was told I needed to go back there in person to get my refund...he said that's what everyone always did. I asked could he not refund me over the phone as it was over half an hour's drive and not really convenient...he said he would look into it and contact his finance company and I should phone again tomorrow. When I phoned back he said the finance company were charging him £6 to take payment and £12 to refund it (card charges are now illegal) so I was going to get £70 of my deposit back!! The extra money was to cover his costs to re-advertise it the car! He said that the £30 would have been my approx fuel cost anyway...as if that justified it!
