Visited Templar Cars twice and always welcoming and helpful. No pressure sales, and no follow up calls to sell. Really can not commend them high enough. Great people and great service. Very highly recommended and worth the travel if you are some distance away.

A bit of a strange experience with Templar Cars from my perspective - "sweetbitter" for want of a better word. I purchased a Ford Mondeo 240ps from Templar around a year ago. The car was in fantastic condition and had had quite a lot of work done. After many phone calls, I felt assured that Templar knew what they were doing so went ahead with the purchase. The car was dropped off and my part ex collected, everything went smoothly and I was very happy with my new car. A couple of days later, I was checking things over and noticed the Engine cover and undercover were missing. Rest assured Templar sent me new items and paid the invoice for fitting of the undercover. A few weeks go by and I start to get transmission issues, to cut a long story short, Templar had the issue rectified but I was about £300 out of pocket. Just before the 6 month mark, I reported another issue to Templar, this time it was intermittent and only appeared in damp conditions so it was difficult to diagnose especially with it now being summer - they were pretty uninterested at this point and I felt like I was being fobbed off. As the weather become worse, the problem started happening a lot, I had various diagnosis performed and eventually got to the bottom of the issue. I requested that Templar pay for the repair to which the refused and asked me to communicate with their solicitor! I was bemused as our dealings had been quite friendly up to that point. Overall, I am around £700 out of pocket for the two faults I had on my car. I will be pursuing this further as I do not think it is fair that they treat people this way. TLDR: Very friendly for the first few weeks, if you have any issues towards the end of the "6 month" period you will not be looked after.

Purchased a 12 plate Peugeot from Templar Cars for my son as his first car, was served by Karl who we found very helpful and informative. The vehicle was clean inside and out and a couple of minor defects to bodywork were pointed out at the point of sale. We had a subsequent issue with the air conditioner which Karl resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. Overall we were very satisfied with the vehicle and the service we received, I didn't give 5 stars because I never do.

My honest account of Templar Cars ...this is more related to Karl ..first thing first . Fair play he came out on a sunday to do deal .thanked him for that ..anyhow phoned up for info on car ..got that and done a walk round of car ..to get condition ..got that ..all good sounds great .travelled 186 miles was given reassurance .it won't be wasted journey .great . The reality . Beautiful sunny day .best conditions to view cars .found a lot more issues than info given on walk round . Numerous scratche's .miss alignment of rear bumper . Flat tyre warning . Really filthy inside . So not so great . Still drove nice . So heads up there if travelling . Questioned Karl about tyre .which was obviously punctured .was told it a used car . What sort of reply is that lol . So then I ask give us a few to get a new tyre . Stoned faced no . You can get it fixed . What a guy . He started getting a bit shirty . And he then told me we got 5 min to make up our minds (pressure) . You boys are lucky we quite forgiving .Yeh you got the sale . But not everyone like us . Getting 4 new tyre today .n a deep deep valet . Then off to.honda dealer for a service plan . And to see if honda can polish out scratches .As your warranty as most in the game is not worth the paper it written on . How would karl put it .or Yeh old school.were old school lol . You employed this guy .this should draw your attention .he told me all cars from Ireland are shit . Wow I said well that funny .the car we looking at had Irish plates . What a kettle . This not a personal dig Karl . But as a car sales man . You lack personality . Negotiating skills .honesty . Charisma. You call yourself a people's person . I have dealt with many car sales man who are . But be honest with yourself . You are not one of those . You lack all mentioned above ..not quite sure how you have not had negative reviews . So this one I'm guessing is long overdue . As a potential buyer from templar .you will need to go see car physically to be sure it's a described .or better still find another dealer that can deliver a better service . A more up too date quality of service . And alot more customer friendly ...so for me that's how it was ...thanks guys won't be seeing you again and will not be recomending you to anyone else ..near 8k motor valet your cars man it the least you can do.

Purchased a Mercedes SLK from Templar Cars a few weeks ago. Fair price and very helpful when I was asking silly questions. Took delivery and drove home. A couple of faults manifested after driving for a few days. They've owned the problems from minute one and been spot on. I now have the car back and they've gone above and beyond in the process. Very happy with the car but more important, I'm also very happy with Andy at Templar cars. Thanks very much.

I am really happy with my Citroen DS3 from Templar Cars! I have had it for a few months now and I have had no issues with it at all. It was clean and matched its online description and it's good value for money. I would recommend.
